@Blitz,
Perhaps you should change your SierraChart link to start with this post...
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=6019.msg3083021#msg3083021

This is because the feed was broken repeatedly by Bitcoincharts API changes and this is the most recent working version from DC.

I made a visualizer thing that lets you set up 4 "views" of different websites (bitcoinwisdom, bitcoininity, tradingview etc) that can be viewed in fullscreen... great for getting an overview of different charts. I have it projected up on to my wall most of the time.

BTC Viz Thing (http://www.mrspeaker.net/btc/)

It's still a work in progress, and has a bunch of bugs... I posted this earlier in the noob section, but think it might be useful to you guys too.

blockchained.com (http://blockchained.com/): Prices, various stats and charts
Btc.sx (http://btc.sx/): Leveraged Long and Short trading with Bitcoin. No fiat required
Bitcoin Ticker - Mac Users (https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/bitcoin-ticker-to-the-moon!/id731453251?mt=12): The tidiest Bitcoin ticker I've come across, different currency and exchange support

Can you update your original list Blitz to make the list more relevant.

Updated and revised the order, thanks for the suggestions. I tried to order it by having the more general use stuff higher up, and then by popularity.

I'm not including exchanges or apps yet, but I may do so in the future; just not entirely sure whether it is a good idea in principle.

I'll also eventually look through the whole thread and probably add some more.

The first being more important, but partially based on data from the second. Extremely useful for a quick overview of volume (against various currencies), market cap, and by putting Bitcoin into the larger context of cryptocurrency markets in general.

Yes, click and drag is nice, but I'm not interested much in news.

Maybe it would be useful if the spread is not shown from US$ 400 to US$ 600, it's hard to see important part just around the current price, +/- few % arround the price would be nicer.

Thought I would share my website here as well, SeaofBTC.com (http://SeaofBTC.com)

We have a variety of graphs for bitcoin prices and market data. I'll post a few examples here:

We offer search-able graphs to query against a database of full-granularity data. We average large datasets, but, if you look at something like 1-hour of data, you can get the full granularity, even from a week ago.

Compared prices (BTC-e, Bitfinex, Bitstamp, and Huobi (Huobi on a separate axis)):

http://seaofbtc.com/static/images/comparedprices.png

Buys and Sells marked specifically:

http://seaofbtc.com/static/images/buysnsells.png

Pricing depth. I am still trying to devise the best way to visualize this data, but here's what it is now:

http://seaofbtc.com/static/images/depthchart.png

Price / spread. We also have compared to avg spread and percent spread

http://seaofbtc.com/static/images/pricenspread.png

Completely full-granularity data example:

http://seaofbtc.com/static/images/full-granularity.png

Remember the day on BTC-e when volume went absolutely nuts because of a bot or bots? Using these charts, I deduced it was actually just a single person:
http://seaofbtc.com/bitcoin-news/a-deep-look-into-market-data-surrounding-the-btc-e-bot-malfunction

Anyway, thought I'd share. If you have ideas for additional charts that you'd like to see, I am all ears!

My contribution to the list:  KaiserBourse.com  (soon to launch in a closed Beta)

The KaiserBourse platform is a futures exchange that lets Bitcoin owners invest daily on the trends of the NASDAQ index

if interested in being notified when service is launched, now will be a good time to signup (type  "bitcointalk"  on the sign-up page comments- to receive priority)
Once we fill the beta quota, registration will close.

Is there a way to get the raw data somehow? There seem to be plenty of websites offering interesting charts, but i can't seem to find any which offer the database itself.
I have made a simple feed-forward neural network and trained it with some sample data. I would love to test it on some real data.

This seems a good source of data http://api.bitcoincharts.com/v1/csv/, although I have not tried myself. Neural network is a powerful tool, and I have a lot of experience with it, I actually published a few papers based on it. If you are interested, we can discuss.

There are more of us who are interested in the subject of neural networks on bitcoin trading data and who could possibly contribute, maybe someone should start a separate topic in the  "Development & Technical Discussion" section? Thanks.

Use the exchanges API directly to get the book and trade history. You may need to setup 24/7/365 data collection, as many of these APIs only return the trade history of last few hours.

For example, here you can get bitfinex book and trade history, in json format (more details about bitfinex api here (https://www.bitfinex.com/pages/api)):
  api.bitfinex.com/v1/book/btcusd (http://api.bitfinex.com/v1/book/btcusd)
  api.bitfinex.com/v1/trades/btcusd (http://api.bitfinex.com/v1/trades/btcusd)

These are web API functions. To call them perform an http request. Use libcurl  (http://curl.haxx.se/libcurl/)for that.
If you are looking for a json parser, try rapidjson  (https://github.com/miloyip/rapidjson)that is very good.

Bitcoin trading platform, Coinarch, communicate a daily bitcoin price update which includes day in review and predictions.

11th December Trading session

The bitcoin price finally woke from its sideways slumber earlier this week only to fall out of bed, dropping markedly from the mid 370s to yesterday’s low of 335. Things changed in a hurry later in the day, however, when the most unlikely of knights in shining armour emerged in the form of Microsoft. The tech giant announced that it now accepts bitcoin payments for its US-based online store, news which quickly sent the bitcoin price on tear and appears to have forced bears into submission.

The BTC/USD opened near 340 on the 4HBitFinex chart after breaking sharply below its previous support line around 347. The Microsoft news quickly changed the scene, however, with optimism flooding the market and causing the price to surge from 340 to 359 within a few hours. We saw some selling at the peak by short-term profiteers, but the market has managed remained largely neutral after the announcement and has settled above the daily moving average, giving a slight edge to the bulls.

At press time, the bitcoin price looks bullish for the short-term.

What to Expect Today?

Based on the current technical readings, the market is in neutral mode with the price trending near the daily moving average amid high volatility. The price is below the key-SMAs, while the RSI is near 45 on the 4H charts. On balance, we expect the market to remain neutral and to consolidate between 350 and 355.

If the price breaks below 350, we see 340 as the next key support level. Any successful push below 340 will open us up to the November low of 320, with downside risk towards 300.We see any bullish push as only being real if the price can break through the 365-370 resistance area, in which case we see upside risk towards the 385-390 area.

Conclusion (On Daily Charts)
Current Mood: Neutral
Moving Averages: Sell (4 Buy and 8 Sell)
Technical Indicators: Buy (5 Buy 3 Sell 3 Neutral)

Do more than buy and sell bitcoins. Visit www.coinarch.com to find out more

Okay, there are horse race rags selling data on horses in upcoming races and giving odds.  There are websites selling advice on buying and selling stocks and bonds.

I see the list in the first post of this forum but these give stats not advice.

What is the subscription website with the best track record regarding short term and medium term predictions on Bitcoin buying and selling that might be based on inflection points, slope, volume and other criteria I can only guess at?

Thanks.

You may want to try this. BullBear Analytics has expert analysts who cover the markets 24/7 in a very bitcoin focused way. Some stock analysts cover hundreds of different stocks and indices - and are distracted and too broad in their analysis. BullBear Analytics focuses 100% on bitcoin and 2 altcoins which comes through in the bitcoin forecast performance. Not to brag here, but the outperformance vs. buy and hold is evident:

I was using your service for few months back in 2013 and also few months of 2015 and i was thinking to get back in, but after reading your latest blog post where you wrote:

Lastly, Gavin and Mike are back at it once again using scare tactics and fear mongering as a last gasp for the survival of their ill-fated BitcoinXT project. Ignore this noise, they are acting like spoiled children that didn’t get their way. Too bad, kids, you have already lost.

i won't...First of all, Mike and Gavin provided lot of code to Bitcoin core client and many bitcoin improvements works because of them, so show some respect to these people...Second of all, you are using your service to try to convince your clients about what "political" side they should take...it's cheap and not cool...

I would not include crytopia in a list of speculation sites, but i did notice at one point that they have attempted to create an arbitrage part of the site.  I just looked and it is still there, it uses four coins, BTC, LTC, DOGE and XMR and has 8 sites listed.  I found the set up confusing last time and it is still not super clear, but it might be interesting to play with.  I only used their site because of a few coins that were only available there and I saw the section. Might save a few fees here and there moving money from one site to another and back again.  Might as well take a peek when you get a chance.

Have any of you used bitmex?   I hadn't heard of it, but I came across it when I started looking around for exchanges that were going to support Tezos.

They are already offering margin futures trading on the XTZ/BTC pairing.

I was mainly looking to see if I could find any info on when exchanges expected to be able to support XTZ, but stumbled across a lot more on that exchange.

The exchanges, that is where you need to be. Perhaps if you could do your own website research then you would be making money and not asking for help. Needs some own study and research.

It is a new technique, doing your own work, I know, but you can do this.
It is being done by others and had interesting effects, lol. What a joke.

Let me introduce a new coin screener. It is nice to add it to bookmarks

http://strymex.com (http://strymex.com) - a screener with interactive graphs that allows selecting tokens with the use of fundamental and technical analysis.

On one webpage, you can see up to 100 graphs, which are automatically updated every 15-20 seconds.

You can also open the graphs of the tokens that you are interested in, e.g., those contained in your portfolio or those that you are constantly monitoring. To do so, just insert the whole list of tokens into the "Ticker" tab, and click the "Go" button.

Today the platform contains about 10 filters that are used for selection and sorting. New filters will be added every week. Our filters can be a very powerful instrument for cryptotraders.

The solution is technically complex. We understand that it contains various bugs that can be identified and removed only during operation.

We rely on your help! Test the platform, report bugs, make suggestions about what can be improved to make tokens selection more convenient.

Concerning all questions, please write us an email to mail@strymex.com

We are waiting for your feedback.

website for current developments is http://www.skyseventh.com

Prediction and Development of BCH
According to skyseventh.com the issue of coin removal is just a mere issue and Prediction skyseventh Bitcoin Cash will still exist in the future. According to www.blog.bitcoin.co.id/ the possibility of split process failure occurs quite small because some BCH delivery transactions are successful but the shipping process still takes a long time. Bitcoin Cash will continue to run but at a cheaper price.

Reasons Why Bitcoin Cash Will Be A Success In The Future
Seeing a warm welcome from traders makes me believe BCH is a coin that will continue to develop in the future. Although many issues say BCH is a failed coin but I believe BCH is a successful coin in the future. Here's why BCH will succeed in the future.

1. Looking at previously broken coins such as ethereum coins and classic ethereum split process smoothly and both coins teteap survive and increasingly higher prices day. Likely the same thing will happen to the process of breaking bitcoin into bitcoin and bitcoin cash.

2. Several major trading platforms both locally and internationally have included BCH in the market, even before the launch of BCH various trading platforms have made preparations to welcome Bitcoin Cash. Local trading platform that provides bitcoin cash is Bitcoin.co.id site, the international market that provides BCH market is Bittrex and Kraken. Poloniex Site will enter BCH on August 14, 2017.

3. One of the largest bitcoin faucet sites that is freebitcoin also provides withdrawal of payment via BCH, this convinces me BCH will continue to exist without any deletion.

4. BCH block system has been designed for a long time and has been through very mature preparations so that the possibility of peroses split failure is very small. The process of BCH delivery transactions has also occurred but is still very slow. But this will soon be resolved.

5. The issue of bitcoin deletion is deliberately played by the cukong to lower the BCH price for a moment, then after the split process the BCH price will be lifted up to a quarter of the bitcoin value. For those who want to take a little risk can save a little BCH if at any time BCH price skyrocket.

Many thanks to op for I really found some useful site from the list you provided and I believe that it will help me in my trading analysis both technical and fundamental.
Of course, what you say is the hope of all those who get this information, but now there may be many alternatives that exist in each country and you can be sure that the reviews will be adjusted to the circumstances in each country.
but of course as long as the goal is for learning, there is nothing wrong with everything that can also be used as a reference as long as the goal is good.

Very accurate on-chain indicators, for free.
In my opinion there's no reason to buy Glassnode! I'm completely satisfied with my strategy based on a realized price metrics provided by Coinmetrics.
Cheers
