Bitcoin is going to rise upto $28K, the whales are waiting. Remember when bitcoin dropped from $1K to $152? They're the ones with the lambos now.

Previous rise has nothing to do with whales, it has to do with mtgox being hacked. Because it was the biggest exchange and like the only one out there providing good volume when it went down bitcoin crashed. You have to educate yourself more on this matter.

What is your reasonining for $28K?

Bitcoin has dropped seriously, but it looks like it's going up again. With this low price many investors and people who missed out will start buying, which will create a price increase. It's much too early to see bitcoin going to the moon and we should be glad to see the price reaching 10K in the next weeks.

I don't know about $28k but BTC always passes its ATH so it must be $21k+ this time.

Unfortunately, bitcoin is just recovering right now so I don't think bitcoin will go up that high so easy. I recommend you to hodl guys and buy if you have money in your pocket. Bitcoin might hit 10k and surpass all resistances in order to discern if we're on bull.

I am not too sure this is THE recovery. If you look at the daily charts, BTC has been steadily dropping since reaching all-time highs on December 17, 2017. It has been a steady decline but there way some green days (days where price moved up) and some small price spikes, only for the decline to continue the next day. In my non-expert analysis, it's too early to call this the beginning of the next bull run. We will need a few days of upward price movement to confirm the trend.

For me no matter what the issue with bitcoins and what the reason behind the price that down now I still believe bitcoin will boom soon. So I will buy for bitcoin this time that the price is low and hold in order to earn profit someday.

You must never sell the skin of the bear before killing it, its true btc has a very good support but be ready at all the best is to hold on 6 months and wait . Its uncertain for the moment , there are too many manipulations.But if you have the fund buy more btc.

It seems to me an erroneous attitude to try to predict the future behavior of bitcoin based solely and exclusively on the graphic comparison of its performance in previous years, since it lacks any methodical foundation and is based on mere subjectivity. If the markets were so easy to predict, no one would be suffering the spectacular losses that prevail in the market today, and on the contrary, the majority would have already reached the wealth and this forum would be semi-abandoned.

Bitcoin might reach the moon,but it might take some time to reach the moon,you need to have enough fuel for the engines to burn and with the negatives news coming every now and then about the regulation,it is hard to think about a big rally which would take us to all time high .I will wait until everything is settled and then wait for the rally,till then i will accumulate the coins when ever i can.

Anyway, after a brutal ATH followed by a 70% crash, it seems very unlikely for a new ATH to appear in the following days / weeks.

In the history of bitcoin it is clear that, after every crash the price has recovered after certain time interval. Among several price crashes, once it has took time of more than a year to reach the price from which it started to fall. In other cases, the price recovery has taken place with weeks and maximum within months.

Actually whales are the one behind all this FUD so that they can fill their bags with cheap coins and looks like they now have enough so they are pouring more money into bitcoin to pump it hard. Soon other panic buyers will join because of FOMO which will push price to new ATH.

Noone is going to sell btc unless any useless fud is coming. Btc will go to high levels no matter what we think about the future of cryptocurrencies. Buying low is smart way to invest in thus industry and day trading is not suitable for newbies. Vision is best factor among other nonsense arguments including making profit.

When exactly? It's easy to day that Bitcoin is going to moon anytime soon but backing your claims is the difficult part. Yes, based from the history of Bitcoin, it could reach even higher than 28k with a very strong bull ran. But this does not justify that this will happen. It might happen within a month, a quarter or a year.

Yes ofcourse, they are all in a lambos now. We could have lambos too. Just buy and HODL this is how we could earn when bitcoin pumps hard. 28k doesn't matter tow i'm aiming big.

I do not understand this excitement honestly. Yes, it is not falling already, and I am sure it will go on growing, but to the Moon? It is too early for it. IMHO.

I actually don't know whether bitcoin price would once again go to the moon or not.But it would certainly increase and reach a descent price.Now every one is aware that the news about india banning bitcoins is totally FUD.

Also the SEC of US has given some positive statements regarding allowing crypto currencies.For this main reason,bitcoin price is surging high.

Trust our buddy and don't doubt it, he's ready to skyrocket very soon and it will land to the moon. Don't believe those rumors that the landing to the moon is a fake one.

Medias are making small things bigger even its just a rumor and no basis of what they are reporting.

This is what happens every time (based on my experience).
Especially banning threats of India, China, etc. are the cause.

- Price rockets .... all aboard.
- Bitcoin is the future, mega positivity.

- Banning stories are launched in media.
- Political debates on Bitcoin are launched because every halfwit is investing.
- People scared because of banning talks.
- Bitcoin is anounced as doomed by certain media.
- Other negative news (hacked exchange, etc.)

- Bitcoin seems doomed and it's the end of the world.
- Everyone wants out.
- Price plummets.
- People get burned.

- FUD is revealed (old stories, incorrect stories, etc.).
- Bans don't come through.
- Bitcoin is no longer topic of the day.
- Bitcoin recovers.

- Stability.

- Rinse and repeat.

How can you say that bitcoin will hit $28k? Is there any news that saying that bitcoin will make another ATH's? I am still confused with it so maybe I will just stick with my bitcoin and just let it grow there and I decided to not add my bitcoin unless I earned some of it.

For people asking me how i know; BTC dropped because of USDT involvement, and people are investing in USDT like crazy and forth. It will rise to $28K because there's a huge pump coming. This is all insider knowledge.

For the moment its necessary to wait for .Media take advantage of Bad news to scare the investors. its necessary to wait until it calms when all will be finished it will be able to touch the moon.

Do you have any link to support this claim that the whales are waiting? The price dropped too much so it is the right time for them to come in, right?

I wasn't able to catch up this time but it's like we are on the same situation. I've got no lambo's and I just want to see bitcoin hitting the moon again. Good results will come out to those who can wait like this moment.

I have full confidence it will. But will it do so in a short amount of time or will it simply take forever for this crash to recover and get back onto track for a new pump? I have no idea and nobody else does, either.

If you zoom out from the short term, though, you'll see that bitcoin is really just returning regressing like every single asset does after a big pump. Nothing surprising here and obviously, ignore all the rumours saying that bitcoin is forever dead after this and so on.

$1k dropped to like $200 but that took like 3 years to rally to $20k. We could be looking at another 3 years from now, but I'm pretty sure it'll be sooner this time.

definitely it will increase but it takes some time to make this possible. Bitcoin has very high potential and high volatility. Bitcoin is backbone of all cryptocurrency and when it falls not only it's price decrease but also most of the coins price also decrease. you know very well what kind of impact has BTC on another cryptos. Right now, it will have started recovering itself. maybe this year it will make its new all-time high record. so, guys don't sell it just hold it.

Buy more BTC and aim for long term before taking profit. From volume perspective, we can see that the whales began buying chunks of BTC daily since the CFTC Hearing. It's a good sign to buy and ride with the waves that the whales are creating. $50k per BTC is not impossible to reach within this year due to continuous bull run.

I hope that the increase that we are now seeing will be continuous that will make its market value to fully recover from the continuous downfall on its price. It is a bit low right now and dumps are still expected. But for now continue investing and holding. As its market value positively moves, bigger profit will be earned by its users. This is something to look forward with on the following days.

I don't think bitcoin is going to the moon yet, feels more like going to steady around $7k then try to decrease a little then increase back again to around $10k or so. It will increase but it will be moving slowly for sure.

I'm liking to see BTC price recovering and stabling at this moment, but I'm not fully convinced yet it will skyrocket soon again. Seems it's hard to break the resistance. If whales don't want to help, probably some good news could help to boost BTC price...

It won't sky rocket again, for now. If people think that it will, then they are up for a big disappointment. At this point there isn't anything capable of giving the market the boost that it needs to really sky rocket. I can only think of lightning network being able to do that, and maybe even an ETF that gets the speculation train moving again. Other than that, I really don't know what news will be able to stimulate people into buying. If we look further, good news in the last years hasn't really been a price driver anymore. For now our only next target is the $9k level, which will probably turn out to be something that's not maintainable at its first attempt.

I think 28k is a low target. I am expecting 50k minimum. Bitcoin has found a good support around 6k, and it started increasing since then. Good news is coming now especially from the USA. If Bitcoin stays around here and does not drop, another bull run will start and take us more than 50k USD this year. I feel that bull trend may end around 50k level and we will have to need more stories then. But we have to hold for now

Like always, people should  understand "this game" that whales have been playing and will continue playing forever, taking advantage from poor/small investors who sell in panic.

To tell you the truth, and looking back on 2017, im not sure what will happen this year, everything seems possible for me, even 50k is possible, anyway, the current value is not bad at all ;)

Well this will be something to look forward to in the future if the increase on its market value that we are currently seeing, will be continuous that will yield for its market value to fully recover from the dumps recently. So investing now is a wise choice and holding it for a long period of time will be a smart move to earn huge profit in tghe future as its market value is going up and becomes more expensive.

The bitcoin rocket is going to moon though , I buy bitcoin right now because the bitcoin price is at low and I would sell it when it's high , hoping to that later I have one of the lambos right now. So  I suggest to buy though that's my perspective.

I am very confident in seeing the current slow movement. is about to happen. when some whales come in and start boosting bitcoin all the way to the moon. it will be the one surprise we'll see next time. therefore, nowadays would be a good time to buy and and hold to sell it at high prices

Yeap. Now is really time to buy bitcoin.  Because in the long term Bitcoin will grow tens of times. I think we will not see retracing of Bitcoin price in the coming weeks. That's why it is better to buy it now and just HODL it.

if you already have a bitcoin balance then you should hold the bitcoin you have but when you do not have bitcoin balance then you wait for the price back down again because buying bitcoin at a time like this seems to have been very horrible.

What do you mean horrible? I'm pretty sure that this is a pretty decent entry point already considering btc's potential growth this year. It may break all time.high and buying at 8k is still going to give you more than a decent profit.

I agree, those news are not true, there is no one can tell us what really bitcoin will be in the future. People are making bad news, maybe because to focus some investors in some other coins, like ETH, ripple, bitcoin cash. I think that is their way to make some investors to invest with altcoins. Bitcoin now is for sale so in my opinion take advantage of this sale and HOLD.

hmmm .... the thread you made Catch one's eyes, you do not count your chickens until they hatch. I believe that bitcoin will return to its peak of its glory but I think it has not been its moment of bitcoin for the moon.

Maybe you misunderstood the OP. I am sure he was not referring to Mt.Gox even that was what happened but he is referring to the fact that those who took the opportunity to see the crash as a way to buy in more which obviously is usually what the whales do, are the ones riding the Lambo now. The market always end up recovering and only the smart ones know exactly when it is time to get in.

It is the way it is with the market. One thing I am sure of right now is that bitcoin has gotten to a stage where even the whales know that a lot is coming for bitcoin and rather decided to shed off some weight by removing the weak hands while the real believers who are smart enough to stay in and buy in more end up reaping the benefit. Last year was nothing compared to what I expect this year and I hope I do not end up wrong.

Maybe you are right with your perception that somebody is manipulating this dip recently. Whales can make a big impact on the value of bitcoin and so also the media. If you will hodl for years surely you can have a lambo once you will reap what you sow. Give that at least 2 years and you will see the difference.

This will possibly happen price could rise to $28k or more. It can happen before that bitcoin ath last december, maybe this year in the upcoming months we will surpise on bitcoin awaits us. Yes holding is really good as the price now is currently recovering.

Now still provide the best opportunities for one to buy bitcoin at a very low price as we expect another bullish trend since $9,250 has hold. I think we should expect a very serious boom that might push bitcoin over $20,000. This might happen by end of this first quarter. I am happy I refused to sell at $7,000 last two weeks ago.

Btc price rise up to 58k$ before and now it is 45k$ meaning it drops but this is not considered as dip I believe that bitcoin will rise again so buy some more and hold, but i this topic is posted before bitcoin rise up to 58k$ so if people who see this topic and believe on it maybe they earn big profit.
