Reason being the country trying to built up a smart nation image. The regulations are friendly towards ICO, and lawyers are willing to give a legal opinion on it. MAS also have a guide on crypto, with different case studies on how to categorize the different crypto tokens. Also the Tax in Singapore is also consider much better than other countries. I like to believe that Singapore is one of the forward thinking countries that would really flourish in crypto currency. I would really like to think that the worst Singaporean government will do is place a very minimal tax on earnings, but then again the world really disappoint me at every turn. I don't know what will happen in the future but if Singapore ban crytpo currency, then i would be surprised as heck.
