If I understand it correctly,is this kinda of an Ed-Tech venture ? Sorry but your info-graphic is hard to follow.I also don't get the idea of Education into E-Sports when you have used terms like "Future" & "Internet of Things".Maybe you could link us to a white paper of something ? The end product would be an app or something where people can login and solve questions etc ?

Thanks for your feedback. Yes it's EdTech. I will certainly take a look at how the infographic can be sharper and clearer, and fix that by this weekend.

Here "putting the education into esports" refers the concept of edu-gaming. Closer to a world of warcraft (therefore esports) in education: Where the campaign / storyline is linked towards what trends are happening in the future. The goal is to help Millennial students go through a method of learning that is more fun, more engaging and self-motivational. The platform aims to reduce the barrier to entry to self-discover passion, and create towards their goals.

Yes people will login, solve questions/challenges set out by the platform, and unlock special tasks / skills that allow the ability to help each other (goodwill), and through that earn tokens between each other. An example of a challenge could be :"build the first quantum computer" which the system will outline the skills needed for that, eg quantum physics, engineering which will push the users to complete tasks around the topics and gain levels.

Our Alpha will be ready next few weeks so hopefully that will be clearer by then.

Yes I get that part but what platform are your targeting ? To simplify it further,what exactly are you trying to teach the millennials ? Is it the tech or general school subjects in a fancier way ?  Does the project actively promotes adaptive learning ?

We are aiming Millennial students. So far I am planning integration with some education institues here in Singapore in pre-university and university (17-24yrs). Once our Alpha is successful, a few have indicated to integrate with their classes to boost student's motivation to learn.
Adaptive learning (i actually had to google it) seems like a part of where we are going. We are also trying to make it social by bringing online to offline. For example, instead of you having to hunt for people with similar interests, the platform is a auto-matching for people who have similar interest as you. In games we have a concept of LFM or LFG (looking for members/group): Exactly the same concept.

You seem like into learning yourself! Is this your domain of expertise?

Yes token will be used to buy more challenges, unlock cool stuff. The tokens can also be used as an "experience-booster pack" which can give a 10-20% bonus of XP for each completion of challenge (which will psychologically make them want to learn more). Or they could form teams with the tokens and ask friends within the network to crowd-source tasks. For example, a team can form and want to build a blockchain-powered cafe (which could be a challenge itself). They can gather help within their immediate 'friend list' who may have skilsets around design.. accounting, f&b and others.

There's a lot of possibilities! One of the final aims is to really give more insights over what your friends want to do and achieve (not just mindless endless loops on current social networks)

Precisely! I'm associated with an Ed-Tech firm which conducts logical reasoning tests for high school kids.We actively use adaptive learning programs to customise questions according to students initial mental capabilities.That's why I was interested to know further  :)

What a revolutionary education system. We know nowadays school education system is really bad. I believe we need much more invention that focused in the education system. And this project is fit perfectly.

But looks like you only try planning the system to be adapted in the Singapore school. Singapore has the best education system in the world, and I believe if you try the system in other countries the statistics of how the project affects the student motivations is more clear and legitimate.

Thanks for your encouragement! Actually my background is in JPMorgan, and i was lucky with career development with my managers. I wish to take the best in learning and development and spread them to the masses. And power it x100 with tokens as a behavioral incentive.

Singapore is the starting base given it's support for a Smart Nation. The next milestones will go into North East Asia (VN/PH/JP/CN/KR).

Bitcoin to my Niece and Nephew, but I used a popular faucet and a game where they could earn bitcoin, whilst playing a

game. They spend weeks playing around with this and when I spoke to them again, they were showing me all their money

{a whole $100 worth} and all the other things they have learned about Bitcoin. {stuff I did not show them}  :P

The first step is fun with education. 2nd step is to incentivize with tokens, 3rd step is to exchange it for fancy items. People could also purchase tokens for special in-game bonuses, or obtain mentorships. That's the overarching idea. If anyone has other ideas on what else could be purchased for - pls pm me. I would like to invite all hardcore gamers (world of warcraft!) to help us with the brainstorm. haha.

Well the quick solution is to have this on Android mobile phones, because this will give them the freedom to move around

and not to be stuck in front of a computer. The social element will be a great addition, because these kinds of games are

doing very well. {Thinking of games like Clash of Clans style games or Pokémon GO}  ;)

Thank you! We'd get that fixed.

Also you are able to "create your character', play around with the few progressions, and then try an illuminate (a single player task) which can net you 1 token. It should work, whilst we are still fixing some GUI upgrades.

Still pretty raw as we are in Alpha but the ability to earn a token is there. (we may or may not keep the tokens during go live, depends on the type of bugs found)

Thanks. The token is only awarded after the completion of a task (the simplest one is illuminate which is single player).

You have to initiate it from the "progression" tab. We are fixing the GUI to make it more intuitive.

We have a new screen for the tasks that can be done on our platform!

Illuminate is a single player task which yields you 1 token (max once a day).
Deep Dive is a 2 player task which yields 10 tokens (max once a week) which you have to do with a friend.

Once the task is completed, an animated spinner is used (per the above screenshot)
Decode (MCQ and True/False Answers) and Brainstorm are higher level tasks.

We recently went deep in the education gaming world. In this topic we are hitting on game-based learning.

The key problem we expanded howver is: Its hard for teachers to incorporate or join an eco-system of games.

I like the concept of joining eSports with education and I know gaming is huge in Singapore. Have you gone through the Alpha release yet?

The traditional methods of education in a classroom setup and with conventional tools is outdated and the younger generation is more geared towards online gaming and social media these days.

I like the concept of joining eSports with education and I know gaming is huge in Singapore. Have you gone through the Alpha release yet?

The traditional methods of education in a classroom setup and with conventional tools is outdated and the younger generation is more geared towards online gaming and social media these days.

Hi! somehow didn't get a notification sorry! Yes we did the alpha and we got some schools signed up.

We're now prepping for beta here at beta.soqqle.com (http://beta.soqqle.com)

Also coincidentally, we're allowing the platform to be used by communities to create challenges. One of which, the use case for challenges are for bounty management! Right now am planning the feature to integrate with facebook page likes.

One challenge there however is bad actors where folks unlike a page and come here to like. Can't think of a good way to handle that.
