Gambling with any coins have the same result, you'll either lose or win, but since gambling is all about losing most of the time therefore I could say that it is not safe at all, especially if you are just a curious person who wants to try gambling for the first time, you will just lose your money, you'll might be disappointed on the result if you lose your money, so stay away from gambling if you can because it will not help you to earn money, but the other way around.

If we're talking about how safe the gambling is with losses then it is not because all in all it's just the same as gambling and you can never really be sure on what can happen. I first started using bitcoin to gamble, so I would say it's worth it. I wasn't as expensive as it is now, and I even made 3 BTC out of a casino once. I think you wanna tell us that both are unprofitable, but safe wise i am 100% believe that both are safe, may be i have no any bad experience from gambling. But i am rely that gambling is safe, but it is mostly not profitable for us.

Actually there are some people really survived everyday because of what they earned in gambling they are living because of gambling.
