01. Most Painful :'( :'(
When witnessing bitcoin goes down from $19,000 --> $6,000 this is painful to all of us.  :'(

02. Happiest ;D ;D
The happiest moment in my life is when I've seen bitcoin hit $1,000 last year and that was a very memorable day of my life although the price of bitcoin keeps on increasing these days.

Guess you sold off at $1,000 . Running off with joy... with some meagre profit at that time.

The most painful was when one of my altcoins was heading for the moon and I didn't know it was doomed to be dumped and after two days, the price crashed and I went into loss :).

The happy moment is, I'm happy that I sold one altcoin at the right time.

I'll answer 2 first: it's when I found an old hidden file on my old laptop, hopefully checked it before delete and found a block.io login info that I've forgotten about, with 0.3 LTC and 18000 DOGE (was couple months ago when alts went too high). DOGE alone was worth like 260$...
As for the Painful one: I was busy with exams when I found that wallet, and by the time I was finished they were reduced to void  :'( barely worth 80$

1: Most painful, 2013 drastic drop in the bitcoin price and this year price falls down to 7k USD back.
I was got to know about bitcoin in 2013 but after saw this dump. I was just away from the bitcoin investment and earning too.

2: Most happiest: Last halving on 2016 which changed the complete marketplace to bump more than 1k USD on bitcoin. Next last February price spike. These two times I was really happy about the savings for sure.

01. Most Painful :'( :'(

I will take advantage of it to unburden. when I met bitcoin, a month later I bought a good amount of bitcoin and bought some altcoins, altcoins like JWL and 7 more altcoins if the memory does not fail me, I expected to get good profits with this purchase, but it happened something that made me very sad and disappointed, the dev of the JWL fled with all funds and the currency fell, the devs of other altcoins that I had bought were banned from the yobit chat and had their altcoins removed and the price drops to almost nothing, I had 95% loss of my investment, this was a very sad time for me.

02. Happiest ;D ;D

when the bitcoin price reached $18,000

The most painful for me is when I bought bitcoin when the price was high, and watching the price going down. I didn't know much about bitcoin back then. I was panicking, I thought I'd lose everything but fortunately I refrained myself from selling them. I read some info's about bitcoin's price and I've learned that it could change time by time.
It would be my happiest time if the bitcoin price goes high again.

Beginning's are hard, the time before popularity. I think for bitcoin and other cryptos is the same, the hardest moments are the ones before they get out from the dark after that everything is much easier.

Your individual critical moment's are not the same as crypto critical moment's. You gave yourself too much credit for this. You are not the only one who bought on top and price dipped after that. If you count every bitcoin price drop as critical moment for bitcoin, then bitcoin and cryptos had way to many critical moments in history and many more are coming.

Most painful moment for me is when I realize that I sold a lot of bitcoin back then that wasn't necessary and didn't hold them. I think I sold more than 2 bitcoin in total that year looking back at my transactions it hurts to see how low I sold my bitcoins if I remember the prices weren't above $1,000 the time I sold them.

Happiest moment for me is making profit out from my bitcoin investments which was last year when bitcoin skyrocket to $10,000+.

01. Most Painful :'( :'(
I had 95% loss of my investment
That's like a nightmare seeing coins you've bought get listed out.

Most painful would be when the prices where low most of the coin where used to buy products or to give to friends as a token of appreciation for the work etc. Also for introduction of btc to friends had shared some btc to them and given as a gift. Had being holding those today the scenario would have being different.

Most happiest was when the btc prices shoot up to 18k and every where their was a talk about it only.

01. Most Painful  ?
When I do missed out on selling on a coin which on pump state since I wasn't aware on its recent price or in short I didn't try to check out any updates and now I ending up on waiting for the pump again.I do almost missed out almost $100k on profits.

02. Happiest

Happiest thing is that I do able to make some huge money in my bounty campaign without any investment. I'm really glad on that moment.

In general I think the worse critial moment was when that exchange Mt. Gox crashed and BTC's price crashed as well... For me, personally, the worse moment was when I heared rumors some politicians were trying considering Bitcoin a criminal activity and consequently turning all its users into criminal ones in my country, however seems this project didn't go ahed on the congress so far.

Happiest moment was when I started in Crypto-Currency world, I was very excited, it was a new world for me, very singular sensation.

One of the most difficult moments occurred at the beginning of  BTC, when an intervention was needed as some guys found a fault and were trying to create bitcoin from nothing. Almost successfully.

At time when things are not going in the right way and you are feeling like loss of your money, you need to keep your nerves under your control and you need to hold your coins for some longer period of time. On the other hand, at time when you are having some huge amount of profit, then you need to decide very much carefully whether to go for selling of your coins or to stay in the market.

That's like a nightmare seeing coins you've bought get listed out.
Well, that's always a risk when investing in ICO / Altcoins, especially if the devs were new or unknown to the community ::)

I don't really have a fond memories of my history with cryptocurreny, but I always think the biggest event that happened is that pizza transaction
Before that transaction, people still sees bitcoin as a niche, it has no price and people would just give hundreds of BTCs away to other people.
That pizza creates a stepping stone and made people realize that Bitcoin has economical value and not just "magic internet money"

Few months later, Mtgox were created and it is one of the first exchange after the defunct of BitcoinMarket, I remember the price rose up to $1000 before it fell down after Mt.gox decided to ran away with their customer's money, it took almost two years for the price to recover back to $1000, so that's sad  :-\

For me, January 2018 was the most critical period for this platform. Because we experienced with this time a lot of negative remark about Bitcoin and Crypto world. Not only that but also In the meantime, the price was decreasing drastically. So that moment was really a suffering momentum for this system.
On the other hand, December 2017 was the booming time for Bitcoin and Crypto currency because of the high price.

First, you should consider moving this topic to Bitcoin Discussion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=1.0

Regarding your topic, I've really got two critical moments:

First, I gave a loan to an old co-worker back in 2010, and when he paid me back (late 2011), he also emailed me a private key to a bitcoin address with around $1,000 worth of Bitcoin that he gave me as a "bonus interest payment" for my loan. I had no idea what Bitcoin was at the time, so I didn't think anything of it. But when the first spike happened, I remembered that he had sent me the bitcoin, so I went to retrieve the email only to find that my email address had been purged because I no longer worked for the company. I contacted my friend to see if he had a copy of the sent email, and his email address was also purged after having left the company. I contacted some acquaintances in the IT department of the company, and because of a recent merger, they changed the way that they handled the email domains, and permanently purged all email addresses of employees that no longer work at the company. So yeah, I lost out on millions of dollars worth of Bitcoin.

Secondly, I sold my Nano (formerly RaiBlocks) last year at $0.05 each. I made a pretty profit on the deal for the 150,000+ XRB that I paid "miners" to claim. Well, in January, the 150K+ XRB was worth over $5m USD. The worst part is that I went against my golden rule of hodling any cryto that I believe in and that I find has a good value and base of service. The only solace I find in this whole situation is that given the recent hack on BitGrail, I would probably have been one of the ones affected by it anyways :P

Moral of the story? HODL HODL HODL lol

the moment of greatest euphoria for people and certainly when a new "high all time" is reached with everyone who thinks that it is only destined to grow.
On the contrary when there is a strong dump, the panic sell starts and everyone thinks about the death of the btc.
History is full of these events, which are simply normality!

1) The most painful / critical part of my crypto moment is when I never bought when bitcoin is around $6,000 and I never sold at $20,000 that was a very disgusting situation.
2) Happiest moment when I remain calm and hold some of my bitcoins and never bought nor joined the panic club.

of course the most painful ones was the recent market correction and the happiest moment could be that one selling at ATH of bitcoin early this year.
this is just facts that cryptocurrency is really volatile and not just hold on sell kind of investment, we really need to understand the overall market before entering it.

Thanks for sharing your stories, that is painful but at the same time very illustrative, we need to take care of our coins and that is something I have tried to do since I got in crypto, I only invested in an ico once and the price dropped almost 75% in a month but I kept holding and after sometime we are back at the original price, I was about to sell but after reading the forum I realized it will be a bad idea, so if it was not because of honest posters like you I would have lost most of my investment.

I believe the most critical moments in cryptocurrency and Bitcoin history is during its early stage, how masses will adopt the decentralized concept of Bitcoin, aside from that another critical moment is the time when Bitcoin is doing its Hardforks.  While the happiest moment is when we see Bitcoin being bullish and steadily breaking its ATH again and again.  Fluctuation and crashes is normal.  But I believe those I stated were really the most critical time of Bitcoin.

Oh my!,  stories here are quite touching. Some people have really loss and this because we all aren't paying any attention to how important bitcoin was then.

For me the most painful moment; was when I rejected some bitcoins gift when it was worth #600 then. The person that was giving it to me then was trying to make me  see reasons on how important it is but I refused. I later realized its importance and begged the perosn for it but he declined saying I had my chances once. I guess I was foolish then.

The happiest moment; was when bitcoin hit 20k i was able to make some gain cause I got mine when it was 4k-5k.

Selling your coins at the wrong time can be one of the worst mistake that you can do in bitcoin, can you imagine what they are feeling those that sold at the beginning of the last year when they sold thinking the price was going to go down again and they could buy bitcoin cheap again, that never happened and if they did not bought bitcoin during the growth now they are forced to pay a huge amount of money for better bitcoin if instead they just kept holding they could have made a fortune.

The most critical moment for me was when BTC fell to $5000, I was actually afraid that the end had come especially when some guys in this forum quoted Satoshi as saying that after sometime, BTC will either worth a fortune or nothing. On the other hand, my happiest moment was when I learnt about this forum and how I can contribute and to New projects via promotion as ICO investment. It was a whole new thing entirely.

One of the most important moments in the history of the crypto currency is the whole year 2017. It was this year that the crypto currency became known to almost the whole world. The media gave a whole volley of information cannons. It was then that many earned millions here.

That would really have been some really crazy moment. Funny enough I have never experienced this since I have always been crazy about security anyway. However, it is good you still ended up having some good moments in the long run with some of the tokens you have been able to get good gains from.

I have never really had a huge painful moment except when I started trading and even with all the knowledge from the things I have read on indicators and chart analysis, I still lost some couple of bucks until I gained more confidence later on, and my joyous moment was when I started doing well as a trader and can now consider myself a pro.

I think the happiest moment was last year December. The end of the year holiday made most people so happy with the price of bitcoin ending with the price of $20,000+. Most investors who have been holding since 2013, had the opportunity to sell off highly and made their gains out of been patient and enduring. Most traders who bought low too also sold off and made their profit. Indeed ,2017 December was a good year for crypto investors.

Talking about bitcoin hitting the previous ATH though, it was painful for me because then I had no idea how trading works how I could have utilized that moment to eventually increase my position in bitcoin and the funniest part was that I watched it go all the way down and I was just there sobbing how much I have lost from $19800 to $6k. later on this year though, I took it on myself to learn how to trade and I wish I did this a long time ago as I can pretty much say even though we are not back to the previous ATH, I am gradually making it up.

Its always selling your coins but then it still pushes more the next morning. I think that's one of the most painful moments for anyone involved in crypto trading.

Happiest? When seeing your portfolio going up multiple times. There'a always that kind of feeling that you are getting a good gains out of your investment.

December is the good month for crypto currency for all the years bro. If you see the every year with the any coin you can find the good value for the coins bro. Critical in the sense how do we say that this month will be right choice.
There is no any stable month we see the bitcoin price fallen bigger or smaller in the market mate.
If you want to see this year first all 3 months shows he big price drop in the marketplace.

1. My most painful moment was when I didn't sale an altcoin when it reached BTC2.86+, which I bought with only BTC0.00475.
Later, my pain doubled when Bitcoin reached $19k+. So that's $54k+ I've lost and now the total value is around $630.  :'(

2. I was very happy when Bitcoin price reached $19k+. My portfolio was awesome  ;D
Losing money is basically like what would be one of the painful moments for anyone in this space either directly or indirectly, lol. I remembered in my early years when I was a victim of MEW phishing scam with about $3800 worth of tokens as at then, and they all zapped.

It is still very painful for me till date because by now those tokens are worth a whole lot and some of them have increased hugely in percentage even with this dip but I am still happy that I moved on, obtained more tokens, waited it out, learned from my mistakes and that $3800 right now is like a chicken change.

You see every moment is critical for bitcoin. The all time high was a critical maoment where it seems like that was how its going to continue increasing and by this time of the year, we should have touched $30000 but unfortunately its not happening that way. The same way this moment is also critical since the past couple of days where the above $9000+ have retreated to $7000+ and it seems its a stuck position and just like the all time high that passed, I am confident that this one too shall equally pass.

Happiest? since i dont have much BTC on stash when it hits up 20k but i do mention about some of my alts where i do able to sell out on the right time when it was pumped or reaching a new ATH where it do made me some decent money like $20k, it might be small to some people but this is already a big amount for me.

Most painful part goes with the opposite thing where i do missed out the right opportunity to sell because i do hope for more price increase until a sudden dump do able to reach me.

Lots of painful incidents were there, one among the most painful is the hacking of wallet that led to a loss of around one bitcoin. Second is the greed which resulted in the loss of more than two bitcoin. Third and the important thing is the missing the past ath. Being with bitcoin makes me happy even after facing these many sad instances.

I don’t think so that there can be any other moments which can be that much critical at time when this idea of the crypto currencies was first introduced to this world. After that, there have been so many events which were quite memorable for all those who were the part of the crypto market at that time. other than that, there will be so many other events which will happen in the future too which all of us will remember.

Yes at the end of 2017 price of bitcoin was so high but it was time to sell as price was high but when 2018 started price of bitcoin suddenly fell so much it was only because of high selling by all investors and there was low demand, but thanks to GOD that time has gone and now it is a new beginning when price is really good which is getting better day by day.

the saddest thing in my opinion is that when we see the coin we are holding is in a prolonged bearish trend, because it usually causes some people or investors to panic and immediately sell the coins they hold, if the sale is directly done in large scale, it will be badly affected the price and will continue to decline. honestly I really do not like that stuff.
the most exciting thing is when looking at the price on the chart, the price is back green and gives positive scents to all its users.

For me, the most epic moments in the history of bitcoin are:

1. Pay 10,000 bitcoin per pizza
2. The ban on cryptocurrency in China
3. 2017 was the year of hardforks
Was it painful because you missed these moments? Sure, it was epic, but based on the OP context, I would say they could be classified as a painful moment because I wish I did not miss those moments and I was here from the beginning. Anyway, I have been here for a while, I am still here and life goes on and in fact, I am doing pretty great than someone who is just setting in this year. That is the way things are and we just have to live with it.

01. Most Painful :'( :'(
When I was newbie I have some bitcoin from giveaway, but I wasted my bitcoin because I guess bitcoin just a moment, bitcoin will died in a few years a head. So, I sell all bitcoin that have without leaving a single bit and time passed it turns out bitcoin price increasingly and I just watching I don't have anything that is very sad.

With my experience before, I am getting excited about getting bitcoin and I intend never to sell it until it reaches the price I want, and by 2017 I sold bitcoin at a price of $18,000, at least treating my previous regret.
I totally relate with that happy moment of recovery. There is one thing with the recovery of btc which also tells on the recovery of the market as a whole and the joy it brings which is usually more like a ray of hope for that particular point in time that we will have to enjoy those sweet moments. The painful one you mentioned though is kind of particular to almost everybody and that time when bitcoin is not as high in price as it is today, one would have thought, keeping those coins till date would actually have meant a lot, but such is life.

I think this year will be there very critical year for all the uses of crypto currencies especially bit kind uses have a lot of disappointment with the value changes so we cannot do anything about or against this we can only make a patience with some intelligence this will help you to come back again in crypto currency but All these confusions are just temporary for some days it will come back again soon.

I guess that threat and the impact it has to do with the market was fueled the more by the MtGox dump and even though life goes on.

It was actually saddening that I did not take the advantage of the downtrend. Well, I might as well say I have not really learned how to trade much though and that has really prompted me till date to take the learning seriously which I am happy about now and really wish it is something I had done a long time ago.

The hardest and the most painful moment for me was when I lost 7 Bitcoins. This was few years ago when Bitcoin was worth about 600$ but I was very upset and today this would be a little fortune. But somehow I got over that and realized there is no use in anger and regret but I have to act to try to recover that loss.
And the happiest moment so far was when Bitcoin reached 20000$. At that moment I realy thought that Bitcoin price has no boundaries.

The most painful memory is without a doubt the crash we witnessed recently I'm still in profits but I had never seeing a crash that big so I got really worried, the happiest moment when it comes to bitcoin was the activation of segwit, this was a good moment not only because I knew we were going to see a bull run, this was a good moment because bitcoin will be once again be used as a currency finally when the lightning network is activated since segwit was a necessary step towards that direction.

Till date, my happiest moment was buying a lot of btc at $1000 early last year and learning how to trade at least long term trend following with it. That has really blown my mind away knowing the great opportunity I have been missing a long time in this market and gave me a new path to building my future and my income while being a part of the community for the long run as well. I am still pained though that I did not get the information earlier because I would have actually blown past this.

One of the most important moments in the history of the crypto currency is the whole year 2017. It was this year that the crypto currency became known to almost the whole world. The media gave a whole volley of information cannons. It was then that many earned millions here.
That 2017 year was really a huge boom for bitcoin and the rest of the market as a whole lot of the coins really attained new and huge ATH and for some of us that were fortunate enough to trade the market at those times really made a lot from it. I would actually say 2017 was really my year and even now, 2018 is still looking very good even with all the downtrend and all.

There are many occasions that were critical in the history of bitcoin. The first was in 2013 when China banned bitcoin trade which cause big dump in the price and most people withdraw their money from bitcoin. Another was in August 2017 when again China banned bitcoin and a person gave negative statement about bitcoin. Third was when the price dropped from peak to $6000.

Not only crypto currencies mate, Chinese use to destroy or manipulate the every medium in this world about usage. That is the reason they have done that on 2013 and 2017 but because them in 2017 we did not find the dump, all the price manipulation is happened due to fake news, trading supply, scams and hacking issue. No. 2 Happiest      - When my second pay out from a bounty campaign was successfully traded in the exchange site and I got my first fruit of my labor in my bounty participation. It was the most happy day after joining bitcoin. And realized that bitcoin is truly income generating.

It’s all our fault why we are taking it too serious no a say when we clearly knows that bitcoin is the best currency which can give us profit anyhow, small banning cannot reduce the value of bitcoin in the world but we people! Always take stress and sell at panic, we have no such faith which is required for the better outcome of bitcoin, so keep trust in bitcoin don’t listen fake news you will never lose.

I can't even think of any other critical moment than what is being faced now and the reason shy its so critical is that bitcoin is literally standing alone without the support every backbones that it has relied upon to flourish in the past and because the standard that been raised beyond reasonability, current situations seems like an abysmal failure without remedy in sight. Various platforms that have been the vehicle for transmitting messages have turned their backs, reports of price manipulations being validated, KYCs being arbitrarily dished out and worst of all the active participants whose faith and convictions bitcoin thrives, are losing their momentum which is evidenced by series of panic being spread all over. The consolation though, is if this period can pass over, its for the better.

Yeah that's sometimes the hardest choice to make because it will determine the amount of profit. but I sometimes make strategies and plans such as price targets to achieve, so confusing choices such as selling or holding, are no longer a problem, because you already have a plan, maybe you should make it too..

Happiest moment for all of us: Bitcoin reaches its peak at almost $20K, Everyone has very happy around the last quarter of 2017 because everything is going our way. Lots of people making tons of money out of crypto.

Saddest moments: When we hear a exchange being hacked, government banning, regulations.

Personally, saddest moment for me is when I lost my private key for a chunk of my bitcoin way back 2011-2012. It's around 10 BTC so its really hard for me to take that lost. However, I already move on and almost got back on track to hit that number again.

For me one of the most critical moments is when China suddenly turn its back again bitcoin last September. Started with closing its local exchanges trading bitcoin and the rest is history. China used to be our strongest supporter because of its large bitcoin farms. However, they are gone today. The next critical moment is when Japan entered the crypto market and legalized it. It was madness because after the Mt. Gox heist, we thought that they have forgotten about bitcoin, but I'm wrong because they suddenly adopt bitcoin and one of the biggest news last year that pushed the price of bitcoin to $19K.

I think there is not the most critical moment in bitcoin history because I think the bitcoin goes as usual that bitcoin is a crypto currency that has a very fast and very unstable price movement. but if I personally feel the most critical moment is when all the people who hold bitcoin are too panicked when prices go down and make sales so it will affect the price of bitcoin that continues to decline.

Happiest moment for all of us: Bitcoin reaches its peak at almost $20K,

i agree. that event is totally the most happiest moment of our lives because for the first time , we did experience to earn a lot of money from our bitcoin investments. the saddest moment is also after its drop , the drop does eventually continue up until now and i think this the time that we are now on critical condition. this time could probably be the critical moments for bitcoin and all of the crypto currency.

I personally feel the most critical moment is when all the people who hold bitcoin are too panicked when prices go down and make sales so it will affect the price of bitcoin that continues to decline.

that is only normal and it does actually happen all the time whenever there is a dip some people will started to panic sell because they think that dip will continue and the bitcoin could never recover again but thankfully bitcoin is still standing strong.

Critical situations under happy and painful category can easy be seen in the last 10 months, there were two painful situations; first in September,2017 when market crashed badly when china imposed a ban on ICO and JP Morgan passed negative comment against Bitcoin. This month Bitcoin suffered for a full month but much more painful time was during Q1 of 2018 when market volume low for nearly 3 months period of time. But the happiest and best part in Bitcoin history for anyone could be when Bitcoin touched 20k USD.

For the most happiest moments were last year when bitcoin was gong gong up. I can still remember making my first sales at the price of $4k, it was very pleasing.
The sad moments have been from early this year till almost now, but thanks to a few alts still keeping their positions and moving up on the scale very well.

Not knowing about bitcoin at an earlier time is one of the most common complains we see in the forum, to be honest I do not know why I did not hear from it since bitcoin touches many subjects in which I'm interested, like programing, cryptography and the economy and yet for some reason I did not hear about it until very late and this is why even if I got some profits my profits are nothing close to what the early adopters got.

For me it was last year December when bitcoin got to its ATH. At that time, I had no bitcoin to sell to join does who made profit then. Thereafter, I have been waiting for the same to happen but it keeps delaying   ::)

I do not know why you have answer your own story here unwantedly now. Priorly you need to share the issue happened the complete market and other things bro. If you ask me, I would go with the 2013 Mt Gox scam, 2016 before halving time, This year price fall after January 6th. These all things really coming to my mind when look about the shit time on the crypto currency mate.
Hope we will find price recovery to take the bitcoin price to again peak value in the market.
For all investors the most critical and panic time was when the price collapsed from $20000 to $6000. Many investors lost their money and till date they are waiting for another big pump so that they can cover their deficit. Predictors told that the price will be more than $30k in the year 2018 but nobody was expecting this fall in the price. We are still optimized.

The fall in the price was to be expected what no one knew was that the price will fall so much and while I keep seeing positive predictions about the price in this year as time passes I'm more convinced this is not going to be the case and it is going to take a lot of time before we see it, this can be good if you have some money to invest but if you do not then the only thing you can do is to wait.

Happiest moment for all of us: Bitcoin reaches its peak at almost $20K, Everyone has very happy around the last quarter of 2017 because everything is going our way. Lots of people making tons of money out of crypto.

We can’t say that it’s the happiest moment for everyone. During that time, transaction fees were crazily high. People would rather not make any transfers because of the outrageously overpriced tx fees. I think it became a problem for some sig campaigns since paying out the participants took a huge chunk of the payments. Also, the price going up at such a fast rate is actually scary because there’s the chance that it could plummet down just as fast.

Think - if the market were predictable, we would have long ago rammed each other on yachts off the coast of Cyprus, because it would not be pushing through the billionaires. In the meantime, you'll have to work on a yacht, and think twice about whether you should miss such moments for entering the crazy and bright world of crypto-currency.

Yeah that was a sorrow moment to see bitcoin falling too much but it is also true that those who has been holding their bitcoin since then are going to be next milliners, price was so good to sell at the end of 2017 but many people did not sell and hold till the end of 2017 so price started to fall for high supply in the market, now again price has started to rise and it will continue on rising till the end of this year, this year we are gone see very problem solved.

Theres no need to elaborate all of the crucial moments that had passed by into Bitcoin or Crypto history but one of the major things i do remember in on hacking events just like what happen on Gox, China Ban, Government regulation, more exchange hacks and these things do definitely put out bitcoins price to the bottom but come to think off that if theres negative ones there would be always a positive ones.
This is the reason why we are still here, we do hope and do see Cryptomarkets potential.

That’s the reason that we should be careful while chasing exchange. Scams and hacking are big problems in this world and it is not controllable. I don’t know why, but it is clear that everyone should use only credible and authentic exchange for his transaction. Of course $20k was the happiest moments for all investors and then huge dip was critical time for investors.

In my opinion that is only a critical point if you believe bitcoin is never going to reach that price again, but since I believe the potential of bitcoin is way higher than that so I do not think that is a critical point in the life of bitcoin at all, however I really do not think this is going to happen soon so if you want to see higher prices than that you need to hold your coins.

It is not critical moments it is your foolishness. How can a sensible person do that, buy on high and sell on low? It means that you have invested in crypto for losing your money. Normally no one can do this because everyone wants profit against his investment. These are the critical moments for every investor but smart investors will never their coins at this price.

Another critical moment that will happen is the SEC decision on another Bitcoin ETF in August. So this will make or break the market price again. If you guys remember, last years denial by SEC drove the price to go down to $900 if I'm not mistaken. So here we are again, in this critical period. So everyone should stay glued next month as the decision may be rendered on August 10.

Fate tested bitcoin on strength many times. Since 2011 it has been subjected to various attacks and tests. 13 times and this is the largest, as we know, until 2017. And then came December. And, probably, after that followed the biggest fall which affected many more people than in previous times. But all these troubles only proved that bitcoin is viable and can tolerate even the most powerful blows.

Very Important! Without certain experience, Trading and Hodling are risky. The most acceptable method of investing at the moment is ICO. For a more successful contribution, you need to carefully analyze the project. Identify is necessary for the market side. For example, the Kelvin Blockchain project has an innovative method of encryption, transmission, storage, and security. All this is based on quantum computing. Thus becoming in demand in the future. With the coming quantum technologies, the current market must experience many changes. To be more exact, many coins will leave the market, as there will simply be no demand for them, due to the same technological superiority. I managed to participate in several ICO, some I earned quite well, I can say with certainty, for a good project, it must have potential for the future, that it will be needed in five years. Unfortunately most projects do not have this potential. I was lucky and I came across a project focused on protecting against hacking quantum processors, and to maximize the use of all the advantages of new technologies, project Kelvin Blockchain, you need at least to consider, because not every day there is such a good option for investing money.
Kelvin Blockchain (https://medium.com/@kelvinchain/the-post-quantum-era-of-blockchain-todays-solutions-for-the-world-of-tomorrow-16bdd970f49a) project itself is flexible to implementing cryptographic algorithms which will make it one of the safest blockchains ever existed with 10+ signature available from the start. This project does not rely on any particular signature algorithm and due to the multi-client use - on some single consensus. In case of any problems, it is possible to quickly locate the threat and prevent it’s distribution throughout the system. Multiple blockchains with different consensus algorithms, token types, and assignments will be available. The multichain technology allows creating almost an unlimited potential for speed and productivity. Kelvin Blockchain can launch up to 2^64 subchains - more available subchains will benefit in increased speed and security. Moreover, all the blockchains will be processed in one wallet so that the client could have fast transactions, secure investments and cheap smart contracts as well as a lot of other services at his hand.

Critical moment on bitcoin is when its price continuously drops. Just like what happened in january this year. From that month it drastically drop from around $16k in december 2017 to nearly $10k by the end of january 2018, and now below $8k. Addition to this price drop is the i increase of btc supply due to panic selling. But as well all know, these price drop and regular price fluctuations are normal occurence on the bitcoin market due to the changing supply and demand. Thats how it is, and as holder or trader we must know how to play with the market. Good decision making and patience are the attitude that we need to be successful on the btc world.

Those were good times, it was incredible, during the months before the huge pump in the price there were many difficulties, like the problems we had to activate segwit and the different forks, we also had the possibility of segwit2x which was finally canceled and then suddenly the price keep increasing in an astonishing way, but even if it was exciting I prefer a slower and more sustainable growth.

I think the most critical time is January-February 2018, when bitcoin fell from 20,000 to 6,000 dollars. Many people have lost their money, some are small, some are big. Accordingly, the belief in the crypto currency has fallen dramatically, the volumes of trades have fallen, it seemed that this is the end of the crypto currency and everything connected with it.

The biggest moment and first anniversary of my transaction is loss in trade ~ $ 4k with bitcoin. And I remember that I had overcome that fear when trying to avoid information and data. Until everything returns to perfect in 1 week. Patience is the catalyst to create success.

The most painful or saddest moment about cryptocurrency in me was when I didn't invest early at mid year of 2017. That is the time when I engaged in cryptocurrency and after two months the price of bitcoin goes to the moon.

Most painful for me is that when I invested on such an ICO. I had the bonuses because it is ICO and I had the money to make investment so I buy some of it. I waited like 4 months before it goes in exchanger and after the listing to exchange I sell it all and after a month the value increase 10x higher than ico value.

All of these changes on the market are so stressful. Everything could happen, therefore, the smartest way to invest in digital assets is to build a well-diversified portfolio based on your risk preference and investment goals. Such a portfolio would likely include a substantial holding in bitcoin and small exposure to promising tokens. I have found a trustworthy project. It is called Socratus.  It is an insurance ecosystem which provides a digital platform for insurance companies. So any insurance company can connect the platform to become the part of Insurance Digital Ecosystem.

Yes that is right, no doubt that it was the crucial time for bitcoin, but those people who remain calm and hold their bitcoin at such a crucial time I think that now they will get their reward, bitcoin price is now expected that it will increase too much and will surely recover our lost.

Calm down the conclusion that electronic money is not as simple as we think. It has the global credibility of the world financial markets. The decline is due to many factors. In the past, electronic markets have given the community good returns. Comes with it, those who take advantage of electronic money, to cheat the community. This leads to reduced value due to bad guys.

the most painful for me is when I cannot make a big profit because I miss to place the order sell and it makes me wait for another time. and the happiest is of course when I can make a lot of money from selling the coin. I know that this will happen in every time I traded but I cannot always get the profit in my trading time so I am fine with that.

That is too much critical situation no doubt, I think it is too much important that we must have a backup for our wallet key, because once you will lose your wallet key, then it will become too much difficult even impossible to recover your wallet key, therefore we need to be too much careful.

Then when I checked my wallet the good thing is the only coin that is in my wallet is my airdrop earning and it is not that big. The happiest thing is that I earn big in one of the crypto that I joined and I learned from the mistake that I commit. The crypto has helped me a lot especially with my financial problem. That is why I am so thankful with the person who introduce and taught us how to do the cypto. There are so many wys on how you can earn here in crypto you just need to be hardworking in finding ways on how you will earn. Just be hardworking and you will earn here.

It is not only you who has been the victim of the hackers. In fact, there are so many other investors too who have faced the similar kind of situation and that is only because of the reason that they were not having much awareness regarding the things and they failed to keep themselves away from such kind of hackers. You need to improve your knowledge to face such hackers.

It is actually not like that.

Always watching the failures is a valuable lesson and draw experience to be more successful when continuing to invest. Failure in financial markets is inevitable and it is important that you continue to be able to succeed.

Everyone makes mistakes like this at least once in their lives. I've gotten out of positions too early several times myself, and it was painful. It always seems like a good idea to sell, but you should check yourself before you sell it.

Are you selling because you're afraid you might lose money?
Or are you selling because you know the position is a losing one?
Or are you selling because you've reached a profit objective?

There is a big difference between the three. Never make a decision in trading out of fear.

It comes only for temporary of price will fall so it is going to be high once again for sure, we should invest in this time when we see market is getting low, those who get the benefit of fallen price will surely. So those who bought it for low price are going to be happy because it can give high amount of profit, well in my whole life I have never seen bitcoin being critical because it got high and low for several times but never stopped at any point for long time.

Thats because as soon as bitcoins reach the dip, several big whales get into bitcoins and invest into bitcoins making the price for bitcoins go up again. This really gets much complicated than and also bitcoins will never stay on a dip for a long time because there are a lot of peoples waiting for bitcoins to reach the dip again. Even i am one of those big whales and i get bitcoins as soon as they are at a dip. Currently i had some profirts by getting bitcoins at a dip. I am holding most of them untill now and i am sure that some or the other day bitcoins can  have a good pump again.

I’ve never been through any so bad moment ever since I got into Bitcoin, and I don’t pray that happens to me. Ever since I got into Bitcoin everything has been working out very good for me and most especially last year I was among the lucky ones and earned a very huge amount of profit. The only bad moments I do have is in trading but that is a normal thing with the usual up and down of prices, but I do recover them back the same day or next.

this is a question where everyone will share their experiences as long as they join bitcoin. but in my opinion there is no most crisis moment experienced by bitcoin because I think the decline in bitcoin prices is common because there will certainly be every bitcoin user who makes profit and that does not rule out the possibility that the value of bitcoin will increase again when they return to invest in bitcoin.

Except you are a marginal trader or you are simply the kind of person who buys the top and sell the bottom, it is always hard for anyone not in this category to lose all they had. As long as you are not selling for loss, you are not losing anything. However, it is a good thing you were compelled to learn how to trade, and have been able to do it well to be able to gain enough profit from it in the long term. That is what picking up the pieces and trying to make amendment is all about rather than complaining.

this is a question where everyone will share their experiences as long as they join bitcoin. but in my opinion there is no most crisis moment experienced by bitcoin because I think the decline in bitcoin prices is common because there will certainly be every bitcoin user who makes profit and that does not rule out the possibility that the value of bitcoin will increase again when they return to invest in bitcoin.
Well, in some people's dictionary, due to how gullible they are when it comes to information and making decisions, I will say they just do not have the slightest idea not to see every dip as an opportunity to always buy but instead would see it as a critical moment. Usually, most painful moment of people would be losing out in their investment or trade since this is one general thing we have always noticed anyway, but as long as you know how to retrace and see how you have gone wrong, then you will be better off next time.

As you may guess the most difficult moment that I have suffered in cryptocurrencies was the crash at the beginning of this year, like many people I lost a lot of money but still I'm holding my coins because I know that the price is going to recover eventually, and there is not a moment that is the happiest because while I have gotten small profits over time it has been a very slow process without a single day standing out as better than the others.

For me, the most critical situation is when those crypto whale sell all their asset at once. It feels like throwing crypto with a useless value after they trade it on a real money. They have a good profit but after that the value of those specific coins suffer a lot and can decrease it value for almost 75 percent. Like what happen in early first quarter of this year 2018, it feels like the crypto is sucks and many of us experienced loss and failed at once. Just my own opinion :(

That is really one critical moment for a whole lot of people presently in this space but that is because they have chosen to make it a critical moment because there is nothing critical about it since it is giving a chance to buy lower anyway.

It takes someone who does not have a vision focused initiative to be so concerned about the short term when the long term is going to be huge eventually and taking the opportunity that the market brings now by buying low is just the best shot to take advantage of the market. So far, I would say the only critical moment I have had was being a victim of the MtGox hack in the past, but I have really moved past that long time ago until all these recent news about payback of some sort.

the critical event that I have experienced was when the price of bitcoin and some other cryptocurrency fell to a very deep price, and I was desperate because I was stuck at a very expensive price, when I wanted to sell the coin I had suddenly the price bounced to over little by little so the price can be very expensive again and from there I am very happy because it doesn't hurt too badly.

the most critical in my life was that I had experienced a loss that was very much when I panicked losses that I experienced up to more than $ 2000 and in my opinion that was the most critical thing for me because I sold tokens too quickly at very cheap prices.

It happens to me many times in the past because I cannot help the patient to stay calm, and I only make a sell order without think too much. Yes, the panic can make us get losses, and we need to learn about controlling the emotion in trading. I am sure that many of us have the most critical moments in cryptocurrency and I hope that we can learn more about this so, in the future, we can prevent to get the same experience.

I have forget myethewallet key private, in which have many many altcoins and 8eth.this is The most painful situation.
I sold the bitcoin for 20k$, this is my happiest moment   ;D ;D
That must really have been a very devastating moment for you and this is one of the things we keep saying about lost cryptocurrencies in the long run. A lot of people have been careless with their private keys, some have lost it, and some have ended up making their accounts vulnerable and so on.

However, for 8eth, that is quite some amount to lose and you may not feel it now, but wait may be when you start seeing Ethereum around $100,000 ;D ... I would not say I have had any bad moment anyway and al my moments in the crypto space have been good. Maybe we should just say I have been lucky or I am well learned enough to stay happy.

You are very lucky or very smart to sell bitcoin at the top of the market so congratulations on your perfect timing, now about forgetting your keys, if the amount of money that you lost was small then it is not a big deal but it is a sign to be worried about, you need to have several backups of your keys just in case you lose one of them, that way you will never lose access to your coins.

Most Painful: I have forgotten my bitcoin PRIVATEKEY in December last year, This is the time bitcoin go to moon lol
Happiest: I participated in an ICO investment project and it was x20 after going to the floor for some time. It helped me solve a lot of problems.

Sorry for that painful event on your life. You missed the moon but I guess you still managed to hold some bitcoins on your other wallet right? And you learned the lesson that you should keep your private keys properly with back up.

What is this ICO you participated and how much was your initial investment? x20 profit is a nice profit.

The most painful moment in investing cryptocurrency was when I lost everything I had. That was really a difficult moment for me cause I really worked hard only to end up being scammed everything when it thought I had hope. I just felt like giving several times but continued. The happiest moment was when I made a lot of profits from trading, and that’s when everything changed for me. There is always hope.

Actually, those who has entered crypto market, definitely he/she would be more likely to face with the big risk and maybe accept the loss. I am sure that almost all people in crypto community usually have the same mood with one anothers toward the fluctuation of the entire market. If they lost a lot, perhaps it’s put in one of the most painful and some is getting more happier when they reach a large fruits. To me, I really don’t think that I suffered the most painful or something was the happiness ever since I decided to exploit benefit on this field.  Because the whole market is still in highly volatile, after all  I got so many experience and all of them were both a great lesson. Thus nothing is a really painful moment.

Honestly, almost all people in crypto community feel frustrated when the whole market has a dramatically drop, maybe this is the most critical moment of many people here, and so do i . To speak frankly, some first time I came to this market, everything was particularly strange, besides in my mind I’ve just grown the thought that maybe I would lose my money soon and got out the market. But I am really appreciate the moment I stand here. Because it helps me a lot to realize that I dare to do difficult things and I am getting more interested in facing with difficult issue. In a nutshell, most people feel like happy when they bear fruits, and get disappointed when they get nothing. No pain no gain. If you keep patient, diligence, you can deal with all problems.

2018 is very painful but that how the market is going to be, we have to be very patient in order to make most profits. Cryptocurrency becomes very popular in the year 2017 due to the price of Bitcoin increase very high.

the most memorable day of my life when my assets increased, because in the past year the price of bitcoin and altcoin has increased, and it turns out that moment is only a moment because after a few months the price goes down and that makes crying and sad, my hopes for this at the beginning of the year the price of cryptocurrency experienced a price increase

the most critical moment in the world of cryptocurrency is when at the end of 2017 yesterday and the beginning of 2018, when the end of the year the price of bitcoin experienced a very high price increase while the price for the new year 2018 began to fall as bad as this and in my opinion this is an event which is very critical because making a price for one year does not have a good movement.

the most critical thing about the history of cryptocurrency seems to have happened when the price of bitcoin which initially had a price of $ 20k and now the price of bitcoin became very cheap was very critical.
