Those are the requirements for U.S. investors. Foreign is different.

Can you explain a bit more about the team?

Sure - our team features seasoned industry experts including Pete Wassell our CEO - a former IBM executive running multimillion dollar programs, Dana Farbo who has built and sold companies, Eddie Quiroz who has led multiple IT projects from start to finish, Bob Visnov who has deep experience in data infrastructure and has developed blockchain solutions in the past, and many more. We're quite built to succeed.

You have  to be an accredited investor and jump through hoops. It was kinda annoying process but it was worth it to be able to get access to these type of ICOs. We have a private group of accredited investors that has access to these ICOs, it is a shame that the SEC had to ruin it. Just find a group of investors to join in on these kind of ICOs.

Unfortunately the process of coinlist/saft launch is still in the early stages - hopefully they'll be able to better-refine it soon.

Only thing about this is for an accredited group of investors each individual investor in that group must also be accredited.

I get that Augmate is the platform to manage all IoT device but I don't see where the MATE token serves a purpose. What's the service one can pay with MATE? What's the incentive for end users to have MATE?

The MATE token will be used both for license access to the platform, and for data exchange/app exchange.

As this appears enterprise focused what if a company is already using an internal private blockchain? Can Augmate build off of it or will they need to use an existing public chain?

If they're already using a chain for other operations it will have no bearing on anything we bring to them. Our system would be completely separate for the sake of an IoT environment.

Is this just a business-friendly chain? Can we see this applied to private users? If will there be a system for them to get rewarded (mining?) ?

Enterprise facing but we're also going to include consumers as well. There will be no mining system as it is to be built on top of existing protocol layers.

We have existing partnerships with nearly all the hardware and app developers for wearables in the space, have investment partners like Draper Associates, Siemens and UPS, and we also have IoT partners like Intel.

We see ourselves as the big fish in the equation considering our existing platform. We're going to be working with protocols rather than against them.

IoT/AR is still so new. How do you expect to get a good market share and what growth potential do you see?

It is quite new but our advantage comes from having plenty of experience and partners in the space. We already have trial runs and existing partnerships that will be beneficial to our growth expectancy. Augmate Connect will also use the best in distributed ledger technology when it comes to the protocol level rather than be siloed to one specific chain or dag.

Yes - our Augmate device management platform has been deployed and has had quite some use for wearables. We're in the process of implementing blockchain protocols right now.

We currently don't have a translation bounty at the moment. Our main crowd-facing initiative will most likely be the airdrop period coming up soon.

Tokens will be distributed as soon as June, but depends on SEC regulations. If deemed a security, would be one year from issuance of the SAFT. However, we have full confidence that our token is a utility token.

Is Augmate an existing IoT management business or just a project yet to be developed? Haven't found the roadmap.

Augmate was founded in 2013 as a B2B enterprise company specializing in managing and provisioning wearable devices. Augmate was both an original Google Glass@Work Partner and recognized as a Gartner Cool Vendor in 2017 - we've been around and successful for quite some time.

Although the original business vision was focused on wearable device management, we understood the need for a human-to-machine management platform for all IoT devices that takes both security and speed into consideration. Augmate’s current vision is to create a single management and provisioning system for IoT environments using our Augmate Connect platform coupled with distributed ledger protocols.

Yes - our platform is meant to handle H2M communications with IoT environments. Code is closed source and proprietary to our solutions at the moment but as we integrate with public protocols, we might be releasing some open source code.
