Do you think BTC.X is getting at 10k this week or not? Personally I think it is ;D. I'd love to see your reactions !

Yes for sure, I think it is possible for bitcoins to be 10000 price range again by the end of satureday because the price increase today is evident that bitcoins will surge again.

I think it may well do so. But, I think that no predictions, including this one, should be taken seriously.

I think that bitcoin should begin its growth in the first days of March and reach a cost of $ 10,000 dollars not earlier than mid-March.

Well, we can't know, but I would not be surprised if it reach 10K this week. However I don't care that it rise fast, I just want it to rise high, on long term.

With the positive nod from US on cryptocurrency I think the worst days are over. The green is every where. Bitcoin is  already $9276 to reach $10k is a possible this week.

IF you look at February trend 10K this week not seems to be hard. We can see 9800s and may be 9900s.

But if great positive news come then we can calk over 10K

Well, if it keeps going up in the rate it is increasing currently, it would reach 10k it has already reached around 9.2k USD now, and it is going to increase even more I think. It has been growing pretty well in the past few days after becoming more stable  after the huge drops. It might actually take a little longer though, as it can get stuck at a particular price range for a few days, with a very little bit of increment.If the price increase is steep again tommorrow it might even reach 10k sooner.

Reaching the $10,000 mark isn't really the problem here, because the main challenge is maintaining it. I personally believe that we are up for a new range being +$8500 / -$10,000 and that for a longer while.

If you look at the market from an unbiased perspective, without anything pointing at a bullish development or event, it won't be easy to motivate the market to keep moving up.

For that reason I am perfectly fine if we end up hovering under and over the $10,000 mark for as long as the market lacks bullish developments and events. It's accumulation time now, and will stay so for a good longer while.

There's a high chance that we will go in that area ($10k) this week. Just to put it in perspective, Chinese New Year will be celebrated this coming Feb 16 and more often than not, Chinese investors come back to market (any type of it) after that cultural event. That will surely boost the price of BTC and most probably enough for it to reach the $10k area. I'll be buying popcorn and watch intently the remaining days of this week. It is somehow pivotal on whether we'll have another bull run or, worse comes to worst, have a bear market for quite some time.  ::)

10k is going to be a string psychological point.It might over at 10k for a while.
If it breaks 10k then FOMO! And it might even reach 12k

But I am happy if it holds at ~9k and then it should grown in a healthy way.Unlike before when it suddenly reached 19k, and the correction hit many people really hard.
Some people are calling this a dead cats bounce too.
I am no expert but I would like bitcoins to grow slowly like a S curve graph.

It could well reach 10k but I don't think the general trend will be upwards.  It will go down again in a few days.  I don't see any kind of climb to much higher any time soon.  I wouldn't buy at these prices.  Then you might be left holding coins and watching the price drop again.

Of course it will get to $10K no doubt about it. We are only a few hundred dollars so its possible to see the price hit at the end of the week.

Maybe $10K is the next mental barrier, but we have seen from the past that mental barrier can be broken. Its just the question of when. I'm sure that if ever we break it in the weekends, everyone can say that we are out of the woods and then our new goals, to break the all-time-high.

No, it's not because it was just started to reach at $9k point where if you compare the length of time of $8k resistance it took more than a week before it is finally remove from $8k resistance. So, this is only my personal point of view but you are all free to look and speculate at your own if you do know how to read and predict the price, i am just following my own instinct.  :)

Just 2 months ago people said 10k will be huge resistance and we went to 20k. But slow growth would be way better.

Yes, most probably the price will cross the $10000 barrier within the ongoing weekend. Being a speculative asset it is highly unpredictable, with the ongoing growth pattern surely price will touch new ath. This time valentines day too have supported with better results on the growth of bitcoin.

We broke 9000$ but we still need to break 9500$ and then 10000$. So far so good, we will see if the bulls can maintain the price above 9k. If they can, eventually in a day or two we should see a break at 9500$ and hopefully with enough momentum at 10k as well which would further push the price upwards. However it also can fall below 9k again and a big fall to 7.8k could happen. You have to be ready for both if you are trading, if not, just hold.

It is possible that this happens, but we must be very attentive to the possibility of a major correction, because we must remember that a few days ago the price came down to $5,600, which implies that the growth has been almost 80% in very little time. We must remember that many people get carried away by excessive enthusiasm that leads them to fall into the famous "bull trap".

And I think we will have a ATH in march.

Looking at bitcoin's graph this moment, it's clearly evident that it's market value is starting to rise, closing in to 10,000 USD mark. I can feel that this rise is very different from the previous one which falls down back in just a number of days.

I'm in, I believe that bitcoin  can possibly back again at $10,000 for this week and it's now $9,700 and 300 more bucks and then we are good again to $10k. What I'm only thinking is every weekend the price is starting to fall a little. This is only base on my observation as I have observed it when I read someone said that during weekends it's happening and I did my own observation and it seems plausible. And I hope that for this weekend, it will move back but for a little while.

Just looking at Bitstamp there is not really resistance at 10k

At least not more than at 8k, 8,5k, 9k and 9,5k ...

As the market knows 10k have been broken before,this is now just a "normal number"

I think $ 10,000 is so easy and sure to happen this week. we can see in every minute the price is still up and down but this will likely continue to rise, in April will be the starting point of its heyday for the price. After weeks of bitcoin Be in hot water and now they are starting to rise to meet the $ 20,000 figure in the future, I would not be surprised if the bitcoin price is still wild this year because this is very good potential to welcome the glory of its burst prices the crypto king

The road to $10k is seems to be near as bitcoin continue to have a slow bullishness for the past few days with some minor price correction. Bitcoin value has been shifting unpredictably with some wild drops that followed by recoveries that seems to be a never ending cycle of highs and lows. As of now, most of the price volatility seems to be over but it will expected to continue to shift unpredictably again in the coming days.

Bitcoin is now around  $9,773 and I expect it to go up above  $10,000 before the end of work today or if possible before end of the week. We are now having hope as Bitcoin is about to move above $10,000 again and I believe there is a significant of Bitcoin remaining above $10,000 because below it is a sign of weak market and at that level it can be destroyed. We should keep on hold as a sign that we believe in this market and blockchain technology generally.

It went to $10,250 yesterday, and we seem to be in a period of growth.

The question is: do people sell now to lock in gains or limit losses, or do people hodl in the hope it goes higher.

Yes, the opinion on this forum will be hodl, but we shall see where Bitcoin is in a month's time.

It is now. Bitcoin just hit $10K recently and that value is stable one. They say the if it continue to pump to $11K, we should be cautioned because there might be another manipulation just after the big correction.

We can know experience the real pump on upcoming days so we should hold our bitcoins right now since possibly we can see the new set of ATH made by the year 2018 of the bitcoins but let's also be careful upon expecting since sometimes the pump happening is a false alarm and the price will just go stable.

I believe very few people sell bitcoin right now. People are waiting for it because this year will be the hottest year for bitcoin. Many people know btc through media news and more and more people are investing in btc and altcoins because btc prices have huge gains last year. ;D

It's back under $10,000, so I guess some people sold to lock in their gains...

For sure as they are contented and probably set that when bitcoin reaches $10,000 they will sell. Its now back to $9,800 so its still a good price after all and the highest one that I've seen yesterday is $10,100 so it's not that far. Let's see if what will be the impact of the new beginning of this year for the market as Chinese will surely add again contributing to the market and they are now back in action.

The price of bitcoin was 10k yesterday. Though it is now some under of 10k but It is a very positive sign.I am very happy.Because the price of bitcoin is had fallen down a week before.It can be said as a huge crash.Now,I'm thinking bitcoin is recovering it's price and has started rising again which can be continue towards this year.. ;)

We surpassed 10k but it didn't last long enough now we just have to wait and see if the support at 9.7 and 9.5 hold, if they do, I expect to see an uptrend until 12k where we will face another resistance. In the daily charts bitcoin does look bullish so there is a good chance this week to reach 11k

I think it just happened recently and breaks it to $10300. I know there would be a lot of correction in the coming weeks or months but for sure it is a hype up again for the value of btc.

now bitcoin has started to improve the price, slowly with certainty bitcoin will continue to grow in the next few months. allowing it to skyrocket, at least for $ 20k in just a few months.

If it just did not turn out that when the price touched 10k $ it suddenly starts to sell. Maybe it will be better if the price will grow slower. If it grows too fast, it can fall sharply again.

BitCoin now holds $ 10000 levels. I do not think bitcoin will fall after that anymore. I think we can see a new record in three months.

Remember everything could possible in bitcoin so $10k is still small value for bitcoin so i think right now the price is slowly recover its value again..
And i think those who sold their bitcoin below the current price is now regretting.
As of now i don't see any reason why the price is gaining more value slowly But maybe china is starting to buy bitcoins again remember chinese new year..  this is just what i think..

Yes bitcoin has touched down 10,000$ already and those who panic sell may turned to be bitcoin haters already. But it's not yet too late to catch the train and recover their losses because bitcoin has just started to rise.
