Post by: MemoryDealers on July 17, 2011, 01:21:20 AM
For anyone who doesn't already know,  you can buy anything on www.amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com)  with bitcoins by using  www.spendbitcoins.com (http://www.spendbitcoins.com)

I have personally used this service and it went wonderfully!
It was super easy,  and I want to personally recommend it to everyone on this forum.
If you have Bitcoins,  and there is something you want from Amazon.com (http://Amazon.com)  then please use spendbitcoins.com (http://spendbitcoins.com)

This includes everything from Flat Screen TVs, Video Games,  Books,  cameras,  food,   anything!

Please support the bitcoin community and give them a try today.

I have tried it and it went flawlessly!

Everybody I spoke to recently was impressed that you can shop at Amazon with Bitcoins and I really think its one of the greatest steps forward for the Bitcoin economy.

There are absolutely no fees and the latest price of Mt. Gox is taken as exchange rate.

My future amazon.com purchases will all be with BTC for sure.

^^^

There's also that they're effectively buying Bitcoins at the market rate without worrying about dealing with exchanges...

Sites like Amazon and Newegg have affiliate programs which offer a certain percentage of the sales that come through the affiliate's links. By using the spendbitcoins links, part of your purchase amount goes to them, which likely would greatly make up for any decrease in value through exchanges and any transaction fees.

I've been meaning to try it out with my coins but haven't gotten around to it yet, good to hear they run a good service :)

Aha, that sounds very likely. Interesting service which gives Bitcoins a huge potential boost.
