Is the time right to invest in ethereum or is it at a bad time? ???

If you are determined to jump into crypto world, ETH is one of the best choices now. The most widely used platform so far.

It is a good time to invest with Ethereum, this may not be the best time but still good.
2018 is a good year for bitcoin and ethreum even they have a bad start.
If i were you buy some ETH now and hold it for months, third to fourth quarter of the year will be the golden fruit available for us.

I think that ETH is one of the most strongest coins on the market, even though it has a lot of competitors it's already being used by millions of investors. It's a good idea atm. Take a look at this chart https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#dominance-percentage and try to see the similarity between the beginning of 2017 and 2018. If we extrapolate this chart according to the history  ETH dominance rate will surpass the bitcoin's one pretty soon. It means that ETH cap will surpass the BTC's one as well. As soon as this happens I'd think about moving back to BTC.

The same question could be asked about any cryptocurrency. If you believe it will increase in future then buy. What are you using to buy ie other cryptocurrencies or fiat? May not do too well against some cryptocurrencies but I believe it will increase against fiat.

Since last July 2017, I am investing only in ETH. ETH is the second largest digital currency over the past couple of years. On other side people have started to embrace digital currencies and more are adopting. An increasing number of organisations are now accepting bitcoins as payment – and the number embracing ether is also expected to increase over the next few years as people become more comfortable with crypto. I am hoping ETH at-least cross the 3000$ before the end of July  ;)

It is a good investment for a crypto portfolio. With prices on the rise it might still be a decent time (still under 1K per ETH) and it is a useful crypto both for holding and for investing in ICOs if that is something you are interested in (as many support ETH payments).

Hard to say as usual, but I am buying some because they have a lot of development updates in their agenda for this year, so it could be a good year for ether. There is a lot of speculation as usual, and a lot of people are saying that the "flippening " might happen, and ehter might take bitcoin position in coinmarketcap. To be honest I really don't think that is important, and soon people will stop worrying to much about the marketcap ranks.
