Title: IWF? Suddenly, real internet censorship in the UK?
Post by: alan2here on September 18, 2013, 11:25:08 AM

This came as a nasty shock when I couldn't access a website today.

Also, in case anyone was in doubt, it was not child pornography.

And it's not voluntary is it, ISP's are obliged to follow this list.

Also, even the Guardian is not criticising this?

I've not seen anything that concrete before, but this is really real, and whats more it's "children", the only thing more thought numbing than "terrorists".

These people are pretty much insane, I think countries like Australia still top it though with comments like this:

Yes, the Australian government tried to ban small breasts from the internet, granted, if the nutcases somehow ever managed to make this worldwide it would make searching porn easier for me :D but that is a total piss take for women.

TOR is like surfing with a dial up connection, but the VPN industry will flourish!

What's this "tried" bullshit? When we Australians attempt a thing, we bloody well succeed at it! I am not proud.

Of course. If you plan on visiting Australia, leave your porn of small-breasted women at home (yes, Customs does actually check for that).
