I would buy "just one" too for the novelty value. These won't ever make their cost back, but I'd love to have one.

What USB protocol do these miners implement?
Do they emulate ASICMINER's BlockErupters for software compatibility?
Does the git version of cgminer support them?

Hi Mrb,
they are currently running on bfgminer, Linux, Ubuntu, Win7 all support
I believe Con may be working on cgminer (for BPMC guys).

cheers,

Can you point me in the direction of any current hardware that will make a profit unless we see a monumental increase in the $/BTC conversion rate?
As miners thats what we count on because in the ASIC world, we will never see an early Avalon batch 1 or early delivery BFL mini rig again.

TBH  a 2 hor round trip prevents me from selling singles (not the packaging and clerical) so if 5 of you guys get together on the thread and pay at once, that would work   :)

cheers,
kev

Conversion rate is irrelevant since you're selling these for BTC. Some current products (most notably KnC and some bitfury based ones) might produce some profit. But that wasn't the point.

I agree, those times are gone. Doesn't change the fact this stick won't produce its cost back though, which makes it a novelty/one off item ;)

As for buying together... nah, too much trust issues at the moment in general. I'll wait till these are sale 1 at a time, thanks.

Too bad the sender of the 5 bundle can't send just one too... strange inflexible world we live in. Guess bitcoin is maturing into the boring tie management style that web did around this age...

I too would've considered buying one, but I'm not interested in 5, and I'm not interested in trying to organize a 'group buy' to buy one USB miner. Just as well, like others have mentioned, they'll never break even anyway.  :(

So Kevin. How do you sleep at night, or look at yourself in the mirror with how you've fucked over your partners in BPMC ?

You are bad for Bitcoin, bro. For shame, and major bad karma.
