Wont replace actual sports though.. although i do wonder what will happen to them once genetic engineering, and eventually nanotech becomes a lot more advanced and mainstream. Post by: Talentless on February 20, 2018, 04:14:31 PM Well it was a perfect time a couple of years to invest in all of this, twitch, streamers etc. I dont think its the pinnacle of esports and i do believe they will be the most watched entertainment to come, i mean compared to dota or lol, how fun it is to watch football? Not that fun, not as much action and so on. Plus games have literally no restrictions, they can create anything, any atmosphere, any gameplay, any competition. Thus if people have resources to invest, esports is a great opportunity.

Advertising contracts reached $662 million, and the number of viewers was 200 million. I'm sure that cybersport will be as popular as football and basketball for an incomparably short period of time. It is already developing rapidly. Over the past few years, the number of spectators has grown at times, and prize funds have already outstripped traditional sports.
