Introducing Xuma

Xuma is developing a decentralized database platform for the blockchain era. The characteristics of the Xuma system are censorship-resistant, DDOS-resistant, fault-tolerant and zero-downtime.

The value proposition to the community is two-fold. First, consumers and dApps developers can store their data in our decentralized storage network. Second, we want to offer a platform so the community can monetize their pooled resources (hard-drive and bandwidth.)

Problem

There is no decentralized database for consumer and dApps developers. As such, developers deploy dApps but still use centralized databases and file systems to store application code and data.

I had the same no payout issue with Coinminers.  No payouts for about 5 hours and then suddenly many payouts in a single hours.  Oh well, the coins seem to be accounted for.  It was only a short delay.

We've experienced a good amount of hash power in just over a week since launch. The masternodes are growing nicely.

Correct me if I am wrong, but there are several projects offering what you are going to offer. Storj and others for the data storage aspect. And if an Ethereum based project seeks for data storage, they can integrate with projects like Storj.

But the Ethereum blockchain doesn't have a built-in database ability.  You said it - they can integrate with third-party projects if they want.  Storj and projects like it are as poorly conceived and executed as any projects I've seen.  More than MN coins, in fact, most ETH tokens aren't about utility, they are about $$.  Furthermore, Storj isn't a database.  It's a token based on storage utility and it's clumsy - just as the other token-based solutions.  Having a decentralized database built into the infrastructure addresses needs that an Ethereum token can't.

So we have over 1,000 masternodes paying out over 5,000 XUMA every month which is 5,000,000 XUMA per month being created.  At this price (~.10$) that is 500,000$ at least of volume needed trading monthly or else the price will do nothing but crash.

Am I reading these numbers incorrectly?  How is this going to stand up to selling pressure?  What is the reason to have buying demand at all right now other than operating a super high return masternode?

the idea behind this project is good. A lot of energy is lost due to the looking of only audio option in the videos like youtube.

I think that XUMA should go to the moon this year, because it is more promising and its developers are more honest, in contrast to ALQO.
I'm sure 1 XMX = $ 1 very soon!!!

Xuma vision is to deliver a decentralized database layer to unify access to data. It's a creative work. Roadmap is not complete so clearly it is not understood. But include xuma wallet all platforms together is not easy.

This project seems more interesting after the reviewing. The project has a strong concept keep it up dev team. I think, this project will get high success.

Had high hopes for this project initially.  Xuma(objectivemoon*) banning folks from discord from asking hard questions about the execution of the decentralized database aspect of the platform. The founders have not been active for several weeks.

At this point they don't have the skill set or dedicated developers that can design and develop a distributed database.

I hope Xuma can create a database that is secure and easy to use, hopefully they can embody it all and be able to get a good response from users

The Xuma team notified Graviex and CB about our network issues, and they disabled trading (edit: at our request) in order to prevent users from losing their funds. Xuma will be tradeable once again when we officially switch to PoS, which is supposed to happen at block 330240. We will notify the exchanges once this happens, and will be tradeable once more.

Switch to PoS is soon!!
