I bet we may even get the price right from what most posts will predict. According to prediction markets, the crowd is often right in this kind of thing.

For sure the price will be high than last year like we know eveyday Bitcoin growthing really fast, that's has increased to chance for Bitcoin can reach higher price.

Yeah, I missed that part.  I don't think 2018 will be like 2017.  I'm thinking 2X for 2018.  The reason for the slower growth will be increased regulation and adjustment to new tax crack downs.  I think 2018 will be an adjustment year, then back off the races for 2019.

Whoah! So a massive correction for Bitcoin. I like the trend of thought, but don't you think Bitcoin has never really matched in lockstep with gold? Time will tell, though.

Hunches are powerful instincts that often come from a sixth sense and past experience. You seem to be quite an experienced Bitcoiner. And someone has said $22, 000.

So my instinct is telling me the prediction crowd- which is often right- is leaning on the 20s. Hodl is really beating flipping right now!

I think the price of bitcoin will be around $20000 in the end of December, 2018.

I think the price of bitcoin is going very unstable right at this moment. It will take time to come to a quite stable position like the previous year.If again any correction comes,then bitcoin's price can fall and rise again.So,it would take the whole year to come to 20k.But I don't think not more than that.

bitcoint is a great future prospect in the long run and very promising, I think it will reach more than $ 6,000 and will continue to increase to $ 25,000 which led to the rise of public adoption in the use of this bitcoint as a storage of wealth and investment, that's my estimate

If i have to predict bitcoin's market value before this year ends, i think its market price will be around 30,000$-40,000$. One possible reason is that whales are buying bitcoin pumping bitcoin's market capitalization and price.

The whales have great buying power, but can that stand against sustained FUD from certain regulatory powers? Only time -and our accurate predictor- can tell.

FYI just because you hear something repeated a lot on the internet, specially on a forum, that doesn't mean it is going to happen. for example back when price was falling and it was around $7000 a large number of people on the internet were saying that it is going down to $2000 and low prices like that and then recovers. now you see what happened.

Agreed. But a survey found out that informal prediction market pools similar to this correctly predicted the emergence of 11 of 15 US presidents. Going with that and other findings, the voice of the 'crowd' should not be ignored. It is often right or close. Methinks.

it's hard to tell the truth if in every minute the price can go up and down, my prediction to go up is bitcoin will reach $ 22k, why? because we ride slowly and cautiously, there will not be a spike in prices that I think it will continue to last. I say $ 22k because this year there will be many obstacles, but if for example there is no price barrier can reach $ 25k.

This is long to predict but last time my pick was 10k for last year and we were over 20k. For this i would like to be like last one but many suggest that it could be around 35k this year maybe not on the end but this is estimated summer price we will see if this will be.

If this year's prediction from you is like last year's, we should be expecting double the price you predict. That should be $70,000. That should be a bumper harvest for many. We shall see.

In February 2017, no one expected bitcoin price to rise 20000 dollar in December 2017. This is the same. It's very difficult to predict. But I personally think bitcoin can rise to 50000 dollar. What happened in 2017 caused bitcoin to become well-known and many investors will come to the market. So the price will rise very much.

I think the price could increase only 20%-40% of the highest price last december so i think the price can touch around $40k this december.
Like what happen in the past year could be also happen in this year so the price should increase..
It will increase more if there will be a big project in bitcoin that can help price to push high. .

Just one person so far has talked of a major correction. That suggests that in spite of earlier regulatory fears, the market remains bullish about the prospects of The Coin. Nice!

I guess if people are expecting the same december jump like last year, they'll be disappointed. Too much has happened late last year and with the drop from 20k to almost 5k, people will be cautious and weary about buying in bulks. So we may see a slower rise for bitcoin.  A rise nonetheless. Its probably safe to be around the 20-25k area.

It all depends also on big boys and what decisions they make.

I don't expect the price runs more faster as what happened in 2017, we can see now the price is not stable and it has to become steady to achieve last year price $20k and if lightning network is implemented then we can expect good changes in price up to $30k.

Many think and hope that price this year will be close to last year ATH and maybe even go higher then that. Seen many graph and prediction on price forecast for this year and must say that this year never been so colorful for this. Price range is from 5000-100000 no matter how hard and silly this sound but prediction on this is divided on 50-50%. Some say it will go down (some say on 20-21 this month but this date has pass) other that peak will be on summer and downfall on Christmas. But to be honest its little hard now to predict price with some event that happen and upcoming one. Maybe best is to wait and hold.
