Wondering if it's worth the investment? I read that there's supposed to be big things coming this year.

But not you alone and read and analyzed, many have already invested at the beginning of the year. Now we wait and hope as on all other alts.

LTC is not bad investment, Especially if you take into account the fact that LitePay service will be launched soon.

I'll have to look more into LitePay, will this make this currency easier to use? I know that's a current issue with BTC, and all other currencies currently.

I hope we would benefit from this big thing that are going to happen this year. Litecoin do very well by the end of last year and we do expect that the same thing is going to happen again this year.we are hearing that Litecoin might hit  $1,000 this year and I think this is very possible if regulatory authority will alow cryptocurrencies be.

People who put their money in BCH should look at what LTC is doing and realize that they're backing the wrong Bull

I still think it's a good investment. It still has a lot of potential to grow. I'm still surprised it didn't reach 5-600 USD at the end of 2017 when everything was booming. But I think those prices will be a reality for LTC in a few months or less.

I think litecoin is always a reliable investment for long term. Because this coin is well-known and established, there are lots of users and it's here to stay for years to come...

A fork, too, is still that fruit - the creators promise the SHA-256 version, while the original is created on the Script hashing algorithm. All this is like another attempt to quickly cut down money.

Litecoin was never bad investment. Sometimes it stayed too long on certain price levels but I know how litecoin fanatics love this coin and many people agrees it in transactions. Its quite safe bet if you ask me.

Actually it is a good one for this year since I have read some articles saying that Litecoin is undervalued.
This means that there will be opportunity that litecoin price will be corrected.

Many people have invested in some litecoin. And you do not have to think. it's really good. And all of us are waiting for 2018 to be the boom year for litecoin. hope 1000$

after all the issues regarding litecoin last year still litecoin is in the market i wonder how it still standing? the owner itself has sell all his litecoins and left this coin behind, though it has a good platform maybe it will hit this year because of the community support, its not the issues anymore its all up to the support coming from the community and investors. hope it will last. maybe its price by the end of the year more or less 500$ i guess.

I am sure that Litecoin is a great investment for 2018. It is one of the great high caps that are still in a cheap range to buy. Ethereum and Dash already pumped a lot and they are expensive right now. Litecoin has still some space to grow!

I think litecoin in this years is still very good, from the number of years yesterday.
and the price is very profitable if we hold in 1/2 years.

Litecoin doesn't look too good, the dev already sold off his own stash of litecoin, would go with ethereum instead.

litecoin is already developed cryptocurrency so it will never fail in the future and still it will raise again constantly but all the coins are red in the market so LTC also little drop in the market. These are all common issues in cryptocurrency. The future possibilities of LTC is 500 USD in this year end because two days before it is huge pump in the market all the experts are looking this coin so this is worthy investment.

litecoin is one of cryptocurrency born after era bitcoin and litecoin is the sister of bitcoin and ethereum, to three coin this can not be split in general, the price litecoin on the market crypto quite satisfactory although price its not as high as ethereum and bitcoin.

There are a few things happening with Litecoin which are good - Litecoin being accepted as payment on Litepay
an not great - Litecoin Cash fork which is not being supported by the litecoin development team.

Anyway there is a good bit of chatter about LTC at the moment which is deserved as it is a great performer.
It performed higher than Bitcoin last year as regards % increase.

Even with natural growth of lite coin,have seen some interesting TA on it.Untill summer will be most likely around x3

Investing with LTC will be best in 2018 and it really will rise and high as ETH move so buy and HODL !

LTC is totally worth of your investment , its price is now 25% of ether price ,
but at the end of this year price of ltc will be over 40% of ether .
so you can invest in it without worry .

LTC is a serious coin with great potential and plans for the future. Ltccash is an event that showed the interest in investing in LTC, and led to a significant increase in the prices of LTC.

Litecoin is nice fork of bitcoin, but I dont see any future for it. Litcoin still live and has good liquidity because its very old fork

As people here are pointing out, the chatter on Litecoin is very much alive. I do not think much of it is really healthy but most are generally positive, so the short and medium term outlook should be good. Remember that Litecoin made its biggest moves while no one was really talking about it. Except good old Charlie Lee of course.

I like all my coins for their simple discussions, not dumb and not without passion, but less of the shilling a lot of alts get these days. I would actually worry if there was a lot of talk about Litecoin by posters saying it will go to the moon TOMORROW.

   Now people can talk what ever, I invested and bought 2 Litecoin`s more then
week ago when was a big dip. I paid for it around $140 each.
   I am long term holder, I believe in Litecoin future. Charlie Lee made some good
moves, one is selling his Litecoin stash and giving him self to Litecoin completely.
Other than that he announced some big surprises this year, and LitePay is one of them
for sure. It is already big, he said it will be available in more then 40 countries in the
beginning.
   I invested and now I wait, do I need to say more or my investment can talk about
my faith instead of me?

I think it's price somehow follows to bitcoin's rise and fall. I thought about investing in ltc and to my mind this coin can be considered as a safe option of keeping money in crypto. It never falls immediately and usually when it falls, it's not much in percentage. But also don't think it's great for profit, would choose Ether, it's just my personal opinion.

Litecoin for sure will increase more the price after months the price of this coin is already $200 plis and I believe possible to become $1000 the price before end of this year 2018. So better to buy litecoin and you will see your money will grow. I believe as of now this coin is the next ethereum because I see the more potential to increase because of the great project and a lot of partners.

It is not bad to invest to but it isn't good to put a big amount of your money into it because of its issues, but since it is on the market list, you can just keep little amount with you.

Unfortunately I bought some at $230 thinking the dip wasn't going to drop more, then bought some at $190. The rest of my money comes in by next week so hopefully I can buy more at a relatively lower price.

Yes it is because right now they already launch LitePay and that's why on the past days Litecoin still pump event the market goes down. When the bull market started Litecoin will have a huge price. But I'm telling you to do your own search also other than getting inputs of people here. Goodluck.

Litecoin has been here for years now. If that is not a good investment then litecoin will disappear into oblivion but that never happened. So my suggestion is to go to the actual thread of litecoin the announcement thread and ask THERE is it is ok to invest in the coin.

Litecoin team is so keen on marketing the coin to spread the word. LitePay and LitePal will make a huge difference once the market starts to flourish. As it is LTC is now closing the ration gap between BTC; it may soon be 10LTC/1BTC in a year or two. Almost every Bitcoin ATM now has Litecoin too. Confidential transactions and smart contracts for color coins would push it to new unexpected highs. It's one of the coin which is real cheap as of now. Go LTC...

Litecoin is definitely worth attention. If the team will be working hard to develop and promote their technology is ltc has great potential for significant increases in prices.

Well, I also planned to invest in Litecoin.

Lite coin potential is huge this year it is expected to reach 1000 dollars this year it is worthy investment but recent lite coin fork are completely fake

In my opinion, despite the news and speculation Litecoin is showing that it is a solid and reliable currency of investment, are many years of market and its valuation on the rise has been gaining strength for more than a year. Summing up Litecoin is a great investment for this year.

Litecoin is good to invest and she had a great potential, the team developer of that coin is working hard and i believe in that.
Actually i currently invest the  20% of my profit in Litecoin and other crypto that had a good potential.

Litecoin is the top 5 in the market cap and it proves that investment in litecoin is feasible. The population of litecoin users is also abundant and it will make litecoin both viable and safe for investment.

All top 10 alts usualy always good investmant. But first make shure that you are not buing it at all time high while it pumping. Litecoin like a silver in crypto world:)

Litecoin will more or less depend upon the success of Bitcoin. Its price has more or less moved up and down with it. If lightening network is properly implemented by the major exchanges as they recently said, then LTC should also go up.

That's the matter never to buy at the peak unless you are aiming for long term hold, the market really sway a lots of time so those who are buying and trying to short this coin will ends up crying lite is for long term hold as it has a lots of things to offer this year, so the potentials is really high, not just because we seen 20-30% increase we should be enough better to aim for x2-x5 before doing any sell action, buy and hold then stay away from the exchange for some time.

LTC is one of the oldest projects on the market. I think that most such robust projects can come at very high prices. The founder of LTC has made some manipulative statements, but I think it's a solid project on the run.

Age nothing mean in crypto. Main difference between LTC and BTC is block time. But that's all. No reasons for LTC to be one of the most expansive. Nothing. Only PR and manipulation

Litepay launch is on Feb 26th. That should be very good for Litecoin. It tracks and outperforms

Litecoin is one among the top listed altcoins which too got listed among the coins which is gonna grow much high in value over the years to come. An sudden price pumping took it above $300 and along with bitcoin it too has come low standing within $120 - $150 for a longer time period.

Of course it's worth :). Beside Bitcoin and ETH, Litecoin is also a good cryptocurrency to invest in, it has very good potential. Take a look back at last year, Litecoin price increased more than 8000% till the end of las year and if this case keep happening the same I think Litecoin price will be over 1k$ till the end of this year :)

Litecoin is currently experiencing a mighty bump, gaining over 30% in just one day. If you are planning to invest, then it is advisable to hold at least 3 months to earn a profit from LTC because the current rate of cryptos is not much change compared to the time ago 2 weeks ago.

Yes for me that is true but it still good to do his/her own search other than getting our opinions so he can't regret if there are any FUD comes on LTC that can make the price/value goes down. I know he/she will understand the capability of altcoins if he/she will do their own search. So goodluck.
