In my opinion, which is subjective I find it best to hold when the market is in a clear uptrend. I find it best to sell when there's a bearish overtone, wait patiently for a dip or start accumulating on price targets on the way down slowly with what you want to invest. When Bitcoin price surges up more than looks normal sell some, and when Bitcoin price downs bigger than normal buy some, with that simple advice you will get closer to the tops and bottoms and through trial and error you can probably figure it out.

Holding a bitcoin is just like waiting for a big chances to earn a big profit, because if we are going to hold and wait for the right time to sell we can select a good price in order for is to gain a good profit. Maybe in a couple years you'll go ahead and sell, but it makes little to no sense to ask about holding and then asking about selling bitcoin.
No one knows when it will be at the peak, nor does anyone know when the bottom is. It's the market for godsake |
