I have an s9 that hashes great for a few hours (anywhwre from 3 - 8hrs), then the pool I'm at stops receiving. Not just momentarily either, this last time it stopped for 3 hours (didn't check it for awhile...). The gui on the s9 shows it's still hashing away just fine, and it shows all pools alive. Once I reboot the machine, it hashes fine for awhile and then stops. I use 3 mainstream pools (viabtc, slushpool, and Nicehash) and it doesn't hash on any of them for more than a few hours before conking out. I'm using an APW3++ PSU on 220v, so power shouldn't be an issue. Any thoughts? Title: Re: s9 stops hashing at pool after awhile.... You should take advantage of that the next time you think it drops. Some other things to check, what's the temp? Are you 110v or 220v? Title: Re: s9 stops hashing at pool after awhile.... That would entail switching it with the one that works better. if you switch it to the one that works use the psu from the one that works. the unit unit you have is a 14tb from dec 2017 it is only 2 month old. what is you internet service? and what are the 6ft and 50 cables plugged into the router? what is the router make and model? do you have an ethernet switch? We spoke in pm an old 50 ft eth cable can be the problem. The cat 7 is on the way. Title: Re: s9 stops hashing at pool after awhile.... I knew "friends don't let friends use 120v"... now we need to add "friends don't let friends use old ass cat 5 on a long run"
