Title: Password Protected Wallet-Card [BIP0038]
Post by: Woody Goomsba on September 23, 2013, 06:25:04 PM
Passphrase-Protected Wallet-Cards(Two Factor) are especially convenient for replacing a traditional paper wallet as long term storage for Bitcoin, as they provide an exceptional level of security.

Passphrase-protected Wallet-Cards are cards whose private key is encrypted in accordance with BIP 0038 ( https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/BIP_0038 ). They offer a particularly high level of protection since the private key has been generated in encrypted form and stored on the card that way, just so that it cannot become known to either us or any third parties. Decrypting your private key is only possible using your passphrase.

In order to create a passphrase-protected card, you will first of all have to generate an intermediate code. The intermediate code is transmitted to us upon ordering.(You can, for example, do this on the website 2factor.org (http://www.bit2factor.org). Further options are to use the  program provided by Casascius (https://casascius.com/btcaddress-alpha.zip) (The source code can be found on github) (We recommend you to generate the intermediate code on a system without an Internet connection.) Make sure to store the passphrase used very carefully. Without your passphrase you will not be in a position to use the credit on the card!

With the confirmation code, you can check, at any time, in the above-mentioned programs, whether the passphrase belongs to the card received. The security hologram does not have to be removed for that purpose.

All cards are produced pursuant to ISO 7816 ID-1 standard in the size 86 x 54 mm (3⅜" × 2⅛"). The sandwich configuration with a black core and specially produced security hologram provide first-class protection against modification and counter fitting. In an effort to protect the card against wear and tear and environmental influences, we use the exceptional high-quality retransfer-procedure and cover the printed surface with a protective coating.

Prices:
1-5 cards: 0.015 each
6-10 cards: 0.012 each
11-100 cards: 0.010 each

Shipping fees:
USA/Canada: 0.010
Europe: 0.025
Rest of World: 0.080

Shipping times:
USA/Canada: 1-2 days
EU: 2-4 days
Rest of World: 2-20 days (greatly varies, we have no influence)

For ordering, please send PM with intermediate code. You can also provide your own individual design for the card.
If you want your own design printed on the card, please provide a jpg file with the exact size of 1036x664 pixels (printable area: 1012x640).

If you have questions feel free to ask below or send PM.
