I wanna hear your opinions about that.
Where do you keep your private keys? In a safe? In your pocket? In your mind??

My private keys are just in the drawer as if they were worth nothing lol

I was thinking about buying a safe, but I think that big, so hard to hide, and just to store one piece of paper?

Give me ideas please =D

I wouldn't do a safe. I certainly wouldn't leave it in a drawer either. With a card you can bury the file in a mountain of others, tape them in obscure places, hide them creatively, split the keys between different cards.

No doubt certain cards will fail over a long period of time so you want multiple redundancy. And you only want to create them and open them on a machine that's never seen the internet.

If I did only have paper I wouldn't want it where I lived. These days safe deposit boxes are really hard to find so I'd prefer something I can create myself that's easily hidden.

You're overthinking it, you can be successfully storing your private keys by putting them onto a USB (or a few USBs) and them putting that USB into a small, fireproof safe, and maybe making a couple copies of that USB and storing them in other locations as well. Write it down on some paper if you think there's a real risk of someone trying to snake your information with a virus or whatever. There's no harm in doing something like that and having multiple backups is the best thing you can do since it's all gone if you can't get the information back.

I have built a trap door in my desk that is almost impossible to find and open unless you know what you're looking for along with my nano ledger..

I have another copy of everything in safety deposit box at the bank.

I have another at a family member who will be the executor of my will, and knows the information they will eventually need to get the stuff and disperse it in case of my death (although they don't have the hidden part as of now.. only someone else knows where the trap door is but that person doesn't know how to read my chart of keys (I have it all encrypted in the way its layed out on the sheet.. it requires a slight change which is simple to figure out if you know what the change is, but almost impossible with out the piece of information that only one knows..

It all seems overly complex but you wan't to make sure your hiding place is in line with being discovered with all the missing pieces in the event of you passing away.. but you don't want before passing away for the people to easily steal from you without the other (just in case one person decides to steal from you, you can still have the other protecting you).

To save the key I prefer to store it in a computer program or store it on my mobile phone, and to keep my storage device lost, I also keep it on paper to keep the bad things going on in storage or when we forget our keys.

Exactly this. Although I do keep a copy or two in my safe, also a few spread between houses of family who know not the slightest about crypto, just to keep the SD & seed node papers safe.

I got a copy of one of my addresses that contains 5 BTC at my mom basement.

To save the key, we must be really careful and careful, I prefer to save in computer files or storage on smartphone, to get more quickly when we need.

if I keep my private key in various places. My personal key copy into a paper then save it in the wallet. there is also a sya save in my account email n there is also a sympathetic note in the file stored on my laptop. a bit complicated too but that's for personal safety.

May idea is you can put your key in area of you belt. create a hole that can allow to put  key near in  your backel. because your always on your and no one will think that you have key is on  you belt. Or you can put beside of your shoes jleader just make a pocket that fit your key.

You can write your private keys to paper but make sure you will keep it and stay away from your children. Sometimes they used at a scratch paper but if the children found out its nothing so sometimes they throw it up. So for me for the safety of your private key just store it to your notes in your cellphone all of my documents are store in may cellphone and my cp is with me everywhere so if I need it I just open my phone only.

I store my private keys on a flash drive and also made some few backups as well in case if I lose the drive or got stolen. 😂

I print and write it on paper, After that i keep it on my wardrobe and one on my private box. Also i take screenshot from my mobile phone too and change the format from *jpg to another format. Atleast it will be safe in my case.

I have already make some back up files of my private keys, i have a soft copy of my privaye keys i save it in my personal loptop, celphone and usb. Its is better for us that we have keep some back up files in our private keys account.because we cannot open our personal wallet account if we have lost or forgot our private keys.That's why we have to keep it safe.

Certainly, the best and safetiest way of storing  the private key  is to put only in your mind. In this way you can surely protect and secure your private key. Only you should know this, you can't misplace it and no one can stall it. Probably  you can also store it into the place and/or in the things that very important and memorable to you. before, I made a back up copy of my private key and sad to say the only copy I have was accidentally deleted on my computer by my daughter. Right now I make sure to have a couple of copies on a flash drive, sd card, on my email, and on my mobile phone. This way I think my private keys are safe and I can have a copy of ever I lost or accidentally delete it in my computer again.

Keeping your private key in secured and safe place is necessary. However, don't be too scared in your storage that someone may steal it. If you will just keep your private key in your phone with password then it is safe,. If you keeo it in your room, lock it and your safe. For me, I keep it it my email, that no one could hack or open it because it is a secret email.

I keep all my keys in the password manager database. The database is encrypted. And I add another level of security - store it in the 7z archive with password.
And I sync it with clouds, mobile devices, etc. Also you can send a copy to the e-mail server, relatives, etc.
The main thing is not to forget the password for the database and archive :).

I don't really store the private keys, but the 12/24 word seeds. Like your Priv keys my seeds are also lying in my drawer, and honestly it's pretty much safe there other than you count for it being destroyed in house fire or something. Theft is not really a concern.
 This is a good idea, but keep multiple copies because you don't want to lose them or get damaged. Theft wouldn't be a concern because a thief isn't going to give second thought to a piece of paper kept in a drawer, but if this paper is in a safe he is certainly going to think it's important and take it, even if he doesn't realize it's a private key.

You don’t have to be a genius nor do you need any special methods to store your private keys. Pen and paper is fine.

That's goo but way too hard since we need to fill it up anytime, I prefer just a protected notes or excel wherein only me can access saving at my phone and a qr code in my physical wallet, no one knows what it is it since closes people did'nt know yet I deal with crypto.

I kept my private keys by saving it on my files in my phone storage and taking care of it very well. And i have a notebook only for my personal uses about bitcointalk but i do make sure to put it where my children cannot reach.

I use a brainwallet, "dog123". Nobody has guessed it yet  ;D

Obviously the best thing to do is to store your private keys offline either on a USB or SD card or a hard drive, in multiple versions in case that some of them damage overtime. That is the best and safest thing to do. Dont tell anyone how many bitcoins you own or where do you hide it because then you have to expect to be attacked, either online but also offline, your house coule be robbed if we are talking about a big amount of bitcoins. If nobody knows about your bitcoin it is impossible to know that you have bitcoins stored on a SD card/USB

I keep my private keys very safely, saving it in my phone no one can open it because it have a password. I also made a copy of my private keys in my flash drive and i wrote it in my notes. Incase my cellphone was stolen or when it is not functional anymore, i have another copy to access my account.

funny thing is, you can hide anything anywhere and nobody will really notice it that much.

the way I keep the private key is unique
there are 2 private key I have
1 private key contains 80% of assets and that is for hodl purposes
and other private key contains assets of 20% for daily purposes

the main private key I keep in flashdisk in the form of .rar that is in the password, Flashdisk I hide in a safe place without being touched by the internet

I wrote my private key in a paper in a reverse format and laminated it.. and also i save another one in my usb.. and in my memory card too..

I suggested that you can keep or store your private key into your favorite and unforgetable place or things therefore you can easily retrieve or remember where did you store it. But most of it, the best storage that you can be surely secured your private key is I think it is when you store it in only your mind. Nobody can know it except to you.

Just hide it, or paste in hard drive or the idea that you will write it in a piece if paper. Haha, and for me tell your parents or family about your private key so if you lose it, you have a spare one.

Print at least 3 copies of it and store it in different places that you most likely go to. Or you can buy a ledger for extra security, I think it is available online for you to buy. Never forget to also store soft copies of it in you computer and in your cellphone for emergency purposes. Either way, it is based upon the attitude of the user how his/her private key will be kept safe and organize.

Don't put your private keys on your drawer as if they not worth, that means is careless. To protect my private keys i save it to the two USB and write to paper and i put on place that I never be forget. Private key is very important in our life in Crypto World and don't negligent,be careful on how it's worth.

I dont store it in a safe and certainly not in a drawer. I like to digitally store my private keys cause it's safer that way cause storing it in a paper wallet or usb drive can be risky it can be misplace, lost, stolen get burned but if you digitally store and put it in different wallets with small amounts. I guess your money safe although not 100℅ but its safe.

That is a good idea. I personally store my in paper form, digital form. Trying to get the memorization part done but not sure how that is coming along.

I store it into a notebook ,i write my private keys in there and keep it for a safety place like a box that no one can touch it as long as i live and then i also save it in my flash drive but put it in the same place so that it wont be misplace.

Safe your private key as much as you can. I mean you can save it in your drawer but make sure that it will never gone, me all i can do is i write my private key in my notebook and i also save it in my phone.

I made many copy of it, hard and soft copy.  I save it in my files in my phone and in my laptop. I made a copy in my flash drive and i also send my private keys on my only one trusted friend, incase there is someone who can access my wallet when in gone.

Yeah me too I encrypted it in SD card to make it safe.No matter happened we should keep our private key secured because if it will be hacked we dont get nothing but zero balance.

 The best place to keep your Private keys is anywhere offline the best way however is through  paper wallets. it involves printing your keys in a piece of paper which then you store in a secure place, preferably known only to you. the keys printed are inform of QR codes which can be scanned a any time fro future transactions.

I kept my private in my alternate email in my gmail account and save it in the draft box. That email account that I'm not using to register in any website. Even if it's not safe to keep it on your laptop or smartphone. But if you do this, you should be careful in visiting every website or emails so that your account will not be hacked or phish easily, like I do.

I save it in various places, like, print it on paper, flashdisk, hp memory, and I keep it in place, which only me who knows its place. so if one of the missing ones still exists in another app, I think, it will make my private key more secure.

Got hacked a couple months back and since then already save my private key in multiple offline USB which i've never open again since the creation of the wallet, i also think of writing it down in a piece of paper but since i dont think its necessary and i do think its more difficult to take care of then an USB so i dont wrote it. I think cellphone can be hacked too because i did heard about something called RAT like trojan for remote desktop and i won't be suprised if notes in cellphone got hacked but CMIIW  ;D ;D

There are plenty of methods to store your private key. It will be quite difficult to remember it unless you start using seed instead of key. Words are easier to remember but you will lose all your money even if you forget one of them or mess up the order. I would go for encrypting a file with your seed or private key and then storing it somewhere safe. Hardware wallets do this thing for you but you would still have to take care of your seed. As I said earlier it will be definitely easier to remember. You can also use a passphrase which works as an extra word which could be only in your head.

 I keep mine on my notebook in my drawer at home. I saved it also in my cellphone with password on it that only my thumbmark can open, I have also in my USB and I sent it also on my other Facebook account. so that If I lost a copy of it. I have so some copies left but they are all secured and in just one place.

I have one personal e-mail add were I kept all important files and links, this e-mail are kept privately and I did not use it for work or other unimportant matters.
I actually planned to buy a safe but I don't think it's idealistic since cryptos do not have physical appearance unless I have hard wallets to store my coins.

I keep them in my computer, but on different names than "private keys", in aim that if my computer get hacked, they won't be able to find it. And I also have a copy on a hard drive, in case of my computer has any problem.

I just write in a piece of paper and put in my wallet ,together my identification Cards, for me to easily find it in case I needed it badly. I recopied also and save it in my ipad, so that I can always find it easily. It is not that it is hardly to hide or store it, it just matter if confidence and How you remember where you haD  kept it. I keep in my mind and in my spouse's mind.We both know the private keys. I trust my husband and even my husband knows the bitcoin so I trust him to let he know my security code for once that I forget he is the first one to ask. I'm not keep on the phone because there is a possibility that other people can know and even in the drawer I do not even hide because it may be missing out and get of other people.

I don't keep my private key on my computer. I think it's dangerous. There are so many hackers now. I'm afraid my computer will be hacked. I now record my private key in my book, which I think is safe.

I don't think there is any such need like what you are saying. I mean If have a few funds in all my wallets but they are stored pretty safely in my cupboard and I think they are quite safe there. You won't really expect a thief in your house who will search for your private keys to get into your wallet. At least as of now there are no such thief who try and steal private keys from your house :P

I keep mine on a flash drive, actually 5 flash drives for backups which are placed in a different area then also on my external drives. Two flash drives is with my wife so that in case anything happened to me, my wife knows it.

Why should you create problems yourself, you just need to pay something about $ 100 and buy yourself a hardware wallet. Private keys will be safe. That's all you need to do.

I write down my private keys and kept in my ordinary drawer. But I didn’t keep all my BTC in paper wallets. I kept most of my BTC in my hardware wallets.

i do have a hard copy of every wallet password and private keys, in a notebook which no one will think it is a very valuable thing, though my wife knows where to find it and what it is for. SD card that contains many files but only those private keys are important (we just need to put some junks there)

That is the most important think. You should create multiple backups ans store them in different places. Even if you loose one usb, you can get the desired private keys in another backup that you created. In addition to this, to not forget to tell about this to a close relative. This should be a person you can always trust. In case something unfortunate happens to you, you can expect that person to withdraw the money and distribute it between the family members you want. I know that young people might not like this idea but death is something unpredictable.

I put stock in my significant other and even my better half knows the bitcoin so I believe him to tell he my security code for once that I overlook he is the first to inquire. I'm not keep on the telephone in light of the fact that there is a probability that other individuals can know and even in the cabinet I don't stow away on the grounds that it might pass up a major opportunity and get of other individuals.

it all depend on you if you know were it will be safer for you you keep it there but i will not advice you to keep in your email no don't keep it there you can choose to store it a flash drive that only you have access to.

I would say it is never ever a good idea to store your private keys online, if you are willing to spend some money for better security, you could buy a high quality fire resistant safe box and mount it somewhere in your home, and write down your private keys to your bitcoin wallet on a paper and put it inside the safe box.

I store all information at 2 flash cards (1 as a backup) and with paper sheet. I think it is good practice to have back up for your wallet information

People say I’m a little paranoid when it comes to backups. I have multiple copies in three different places. Flash drives and printed copies on each location. Better safe than sorry.

I don't have any private keys at this moment because its not that many bitcoins that I am holding right now and no one in our home knows what am I doing so its not necessary to make some ways to keep my private keys.

Regarding to your question, I know one way to keep your private keys and that is very effective. I just watched it on a youtube video. Get 3 sheets of paper. Put the whole set of the private keys into one sheet then keep it in the most secure place you know. Print the half of your keys in another sheet of paper and the other half on the other sheet and then keep it anywhere you like. Maybe in one corner of your house or anywhere.

This for me is good because even they see the half of the private keys, it will be very very hard for them to know your keys because they doesn't have access to the other half.

I store them on the cloud and also on the desktop of my computer. It's safer to get even more then it's better to store plus to everything on the USB flash drive

Fantastic, it seems you have successfully managed your assets. This is best approach where you make a copy and save it somewhere else where you can easily recover your data in case of loss or damage. We should make different copies of our important documents and digital data and place them in safe areas where they would become safe and secure. This will help you later on.

I suggest to you brother many way to safe your private key
1. Write in a sheet of paper
2. Dowload the app of notes and put it
3. Make it files in your memory card

I keep my private keys in a notepad also save them in a flash drive and also create a mail just for keys alone, I think these places are safer for me.

If you use a wallet for Hold, you can write down a private key on paper, break it and hide different pieces of paper in different places. You can also record your private key in electronic form, but a little bit by changing it, known only to you. For example, you can delete the last few characters by remembering them before.

I always make sure to make multiple copies of my private key. I store them safely and make sure that no one has access on it. Do what works best for you. Simple is not always a bad thing, but just avoid the obvious (like a safe for example). Also, don't make it too complicated to where you will forget.

I don't recommend giving pieces of private key to random family members because too many factors could go wrong.

well not all here will share the methods, cause some hackers could collect all the information and then try to develop some methods to steal that kind of info, you know some social engineering stuff really works..
but for me I personally collect all hardware keys on some hard drives disconnected from internet

This is a good idea, but it will be very difficult when you want to retype the sequence of characters when you request a private key because it's a pretty complex sequence of characters. I usually save private key on excel and keep in usd, I also save on google driver a backup again. Make sure it is very careful and secure.

I have a pretty simple way. In addition to the original, I will copy a few more copies. To stay home, leave in the bag, to work. And obviously I did not leave the position of the letters or numbers that I could have a slight change of order. What do you think?

Mine are on multiple password protected USB drives.
One of them i carry all the time the other is in my house in a fire proof safe along with paper versions.
This is not for security but for loss from fire.

I save my wallet.dat (Bitcoin Core Wallet) anywhere: cloud, phone, usb flash, DVD, mail. And periodically I update the files

Of course, it is too risky to keep our private keys in mobiles and emails and our systems and laptops. I don't like to take much risk so i stored my all private keys on my external HDD, not 1 I stored in 2 HDD. and I will connect those HDD to only my system which is secured by internet security.

I purchased several U-disks and stored them in the backup. If any of the U-disks are damaged, I will not lose them. I will also copy and save them on paper, and do not save my backups on the Internet or on my computer.

I use a different strategy to hide my private keys. Initially, I had uploaded them to a cloud server, but since everything is prone to hacking, so I decided against doing it. Then, I thought of a second alternative. Since I have multiple BTCs in my wallet, so, in order to keep them safe, I bought multiple flash drives from the market. Formerly I used to keep my private keys on laptop but in most recent times when cases of hacked private keys became rampant especially myetherwallet which is mostly prone to hackers using phished sites, I copied it on a paper and hidden in my file while I completely deleted it on my laptop.

I make sure that i keep my private key safe, ill put in my smartphone so easy to copy when i need then in hard drive and usb but the storage device is not safe/secure sometimes it currupted.
So i will reprint twenty copy of my private key in a paper and keep it in my wallet,cabinet,vault and etc,much better to laminate it before you keep so it was not easy to rotten.

I keep my private key in a small piece of paper and i laminated to do not avoid fade the text word i have three copies of my privatekey cause i have in my pocket wallet of private key and to my vault also just incase if i lose i retrieved immediately of my funds.

For me because of the importance of private key, i saved it to my computer in a very complex folder location that i am the only who knows it and make it hidden, while the paper print of my private key is i stored it in the back of one of our picture frame on a very simple looking one.
I dont one to take a risk and save it to my email because im not really sure if it is safe there.

Create multiple ways of storing your key. Printed, files on external hard drive and a ledger. The more the better.

I separated the Bitcoins from the paper wall for security reasons. I keep them in different places like 2 sheriffs. I have never kept both in digital, and I have not. I do not need a private key since the rest of the param is already in the exchanges. For the params on the stock exchanges, I wrote the 2FA code behind those purses again. Those wallets are safe for me on this. But it may still make sense to be very careful and make a change of wallet in between. I do not know if it is the safest way to create a different wallet, but it makes it a little harder.

Let's say the computer is not the most reliable storage for today. I have people I trust, here they are my safe.

I have a hard copy in it in my drawer and save my private keys on my documents.Its advisable to keep our addresses and private keys on private inorder not to get lost or being access by anyone.I uses screen name in saving my device and keep it in a very safe place because once it lost its very difficult to retreive it if it is being hacked by anyone.

I use really a simple method.You may find it risky but I don't need higher security.So, I simply make a note on my mobile and put the keys on notepad and saved it.It's really easy for me and I can get the keys anytime I want.Also sometimes I saved Private keys on my telegram channel which run by me only.

Write in the paper, Or make it back up and put it on USB. I do not advise storing private keys on facebook messengers, emails, notes, and more that hackers can easily find and know.

Better to be sure, especially now it's money that we earned. It should not come to those who are lazy and what they want to do is steal money from other people

Save or store your  private keys in not just one place or storage. make back ups, hide it in personal notebook, in phone, and in storage devices like usb or memory card.

The private key is written on a piece of paper, and then your private key is saved through a hardware wallet, which is the safest and most convenient way to do it.

I would advice you to store your private key offline . If you have stored your private keys offline , it is the best option as chances of hacking decreases to negligible.

Me i keep my private key and other important data in a usb stick and i will put that usb stick into a place that no one knows.

I store in the usual text document copied on several carriers. I add a quantity of symbols to all important keys and passwords known only to me.

I store my private keys in my a sticky notes app in my computer (with a password, of course). Also have one in a .txt file in my flashdrives, in my cellphone and other gadgets. I also have it written on my notebook in case all digital files are deleted. I have a lot of back up for my private key since I treat it as one of my most important possession.

Storing it with my sd cards,duplicate in some encrypted folders in another device that i know that wont be compromised easily,paper wallet isnt going to be that secured as it can be hacked or destroyed.The best place would be to use the crypto steel which is available thru the ledger's website because you will find it more secured.

Mine are printed on paper in a safe deposit box. See, banks have a use still.  ;D

I hold my private keys on a flash drive and also made some few backups as well in case if I lose the drive or got stolen.

I guess it would be best to store private keys in your mind, like mentioned, but thats nearly impossibel,at least to me so just write it down - on paper not digital- if you think you need to buy a safe (in case of fire or robbing) to safe your money, then buy one! If it is worth the value, otherwise store a backup at a persons you really trust.
Or rent a safe at a bank..

I think to keep the private key better store it in a computer or store it in a mobile phone. But better keep it in mind but this is too risky  8)

you better save your private key you have in a safe place as it is in the record books after that you store in a closet or you can also save it in your google account drive you have and don't use the google account to login on the device any except the most secure device.

In one of the art books, I read the method of encryption.
I converted it a little and used it to encrypt private keys.
Where to store it is not important, the main thing is not to lose them :)

I kept my private keys in a safe place. I put it in a note on my phone, then I secured it from the cloud account for doing some backups then I also write it down on my notebooks together with the other important files.

Well, I am using Trezor so I have a seed key and some paper wallets so I am using multiple backup copies and stored it in a safe location. I am not comfortable in commenting about it but it is safe and still accessible for my family members and I have some friends who will help my family members to liquidate my funds in case of my permanent absence or inability to do the same. I believe that bank locker is not a good option because you never know if your key is compromised or not until funds are moved.

if you buy a safe everyone would understand that they are valuable keys and it is the first place for someone to look into valuable things, so in my opinion a safe would be a bad idea.

 all my private key  keep in usb flat drive to not lose and I wrote in my notebook for addition safety if my flash drive corrupted my key will recover because I keeping in my notebook because key is very important so you need more option to keep private key.

I keep mine on a USB which is then kept in the bank. I have several copies of that USB and those are also in undisclosed locations across the country. Whatever you do, make sure it is locked up and make sure you trust the party that has it. Nothing would be worse than giving it to a friend or something and they take you for all you got. Also don't put all your eggs in one basket, diversify in case anything goes wrong!

I'm using a password protected container created by VeraCrypt. It has multiple encryption options and has ability to encrypt hard drives or flash disks. You can even create a hidden partition for more safety. If you are paranoid, you can put your container in another container. This will cause some performance issues but it will be safer...

I currently own a trezor and all trezor devices comes with this paper where you can write down the 24 words , I'm not gonna share exactly where i have stored it but some popular places to store them are at bank vaults or even just storing it in a usb and keeping it in a home safe

I have some places to backup my private key wallet.
I keep it offline in a paper at my house. and my book notes. and I also wrote it in the wall of my very closed house. maybe it's just me who knows it is a private key. important thing in keeping a secret is its place. and access to see it again.

just store it on the hard drive. dont store it on the could drive or email.

i already give my private key to my son because of something happen to me i am sure that my funds will no waste and my son will use it and i also planing to pu a tattoo, a qr code of my private key to my dog lol.

Storing your private key or your seed words in a safe at a bank it is the same as having your money in the bank, maybe they do not have control of the money directly but technically the only way that you can access that money is through the bank because it's there, also in many countries it is legal for governments to check the contents that people store in a safe of a bank without any kind of court order, so someone could steal your bitcoin and cryptocurrencies very easily if you do that.

I personally believe private keys are best kept on papers (in printed) and backed up on a flash drive that never connects to the internet.

Keeping of private keys is very i portant specially to holders have huge amount investment they have in the different kind of wallet with have different kind of coins.

I kept my private keys in a safe way like doing backup, for instance, if I forgot where I put on it.I also a back up on my phones note enabled 2fa authenticator together with backup in the cloud and Samsung accounts.

The safest place to save your private keys is in your own mind ofcourse, but it also has risk to forgot since the words and number combinations is hard to remember.
But you can also write it down in a piece of paper, and save it on your room, or some place that you can remember but still safe.

I keep my private keys on my laptop, Messenger, and email.
I made a note on my laptop and save my private. I also gave my private key to my Girlfriend, so just in case something bad happens to me, she knows how to access my account. and I also sent to my own email. and I made a hard-copy of my private key and store it in my cabinet.

I totally agree with your opinion. Saving in some safe places is one way for private key security. And writing on a piece of paper and stored in a safe place, in my opinion is a very appropriate way to maintain the security of a private key. Because the private key is something very important. And if we lose it, no one can take responsibility for all our losses.

I keep the private key on my hard disk because I think the most secure I keep there when the device is damaged disk can still read its contents so I think the assets you have still safe.

Google mail is the best way to hide your wallet, and the best way to look up when you needed it, keep on mind that the email you use to keep your Bitcoin password private like don't use it to make accounts on different sites since email is hackable also, but simple safety can avoid it.

I think I will keep a private key with a memory in my mind and my memory I do not have to do with notes and I am very quick to remember and I keep in my memory and I record in my memory

I still keep the private key on the desktop, but if want to be more secure maybe in the file in external memory, I in the zip file as well as provide the password is quite safe

I save it offline to make it easier for me to see it when I need my private key, such as account, password,Privit key,eth,And others.

It is important to secure a lot of soft and hard copy of it, is your strategy how you will manage it.

it is very risky not to keep records of your Data as private keys for wallets or IDs and passwords for various platforms, Exchange log in data and Security Answers.
Never take anything as granted and think you will remember that. Remember, the loss can be massive if you ever happen to forget your secret keys etc.

The safest way, in my opinion is that, to save your data into your google drive. It is safer than any other way.

Personally i use laptop and desktop,I have saved my private key laptop. But I have another good idea .you can use external disk and pen drive for savers your private key.good idea and have way you can choice anyone.

USB stick with hardware encryption. Doesn't have to be military grade so the cheaper ones are sufficient, unless you have a sticker on it saying bitcoin keys! If by chance it get's found someone will simply format it for re-use rather than try to hack it.

Flash drive save them on a flash drive notepad file and make sure you secure and lock the notepad file with password and also secure and lock the flash drive with password, what i mean by this step is, if one want to access the flash it will ask of a password and also the notepad file. in all this make sure you use a strong password.

I always put Private keys on some PCs I have. Apart from offline storage, I also downloaded some private keys on online storage so that when I needed, private keys were always there and easy to find. I have never used Hardware wallet like Nano Ledger and Trezor, but I plan to have it this year. Maybe you can try to buy Wallet Hardware if your digital assets are Many.

actually it is not that hard to find where you will safe it. you just need some place with high security, water resist, fire resist, and other resist.
it could be a deposit box. store your private key or other important information to a drive, and put into the box. your information will be safe,

I save it in various places, like, print it on paper, flashdisk, hp memory, and I keep it in place, which only me who knows its place. so if one of the missing ones still exists in another app, I think, it will make my private key more secure.

Turn it into text files and put it in your personal computer.
You can also do it in creative ways like tape the paper in some figurines bottom, or hide your thumb drive in a flower pot. Be creative so your private keys are hidden in the place you only know.

Hi! I store the keys in encrypted form and use the program "KeePass Password Safe". It's convenient.  And this is the safest way to store your keys

All my Private keys are printed out and laminated (making them waterproof/resistant). I think keep one copy in a safe in my home and a second copy in a safety deposit box (in case a meteor hits my house)

May seem like overkill but i know my keys are safe. That redundancy is important.

I dont trust me keys online… even encrypted or in a secure cloud. im paranoid like that .

It is not safe to say this on a public forum, but i think that we all have our keys on safe places, i have a hardware wallet and i think that they can not be safer in any other place.
I have two copies on two different places.

my technique to keep my private keys safe and can easily found is making a lot of copies of my private key and storing them in flash drives, mobile phone and written in paper and stored in safe because i am a forgetful person i always forget things that i left that's why i always use sticky notes write all the stuff what should i do.

i was put my private keys use my personal computer through notepad file and indeed it looks have poor securities but i have my personal computer which mean i would not allowed people use my computer even it's my own family and it's works fine for me until now that i was sucessfully store my private keys with secure and once again that don't ever clicks suspicious links because they can stole your private keys suddenly

You must make copies of your keys on different media and store them in different places. We must be very careful and remember that without a key, we lose all our money. I have many copies and keep my private keys on paper and on the USB in an encrypted form.
