Title: Projects that focus on E-Spots and streaming
Post by: sabakamedvet on February 24, 2018, 10:07:41 AM
Hi guys,

I have been trying to figure ut which coins/tokens that focus on E-sport and streaming is worth investing in. So I thought I should make a thread where we list the differnt projects and what differ them from each other.

1. Refereum: https://refereum.com/
Probably the most hyped one. Basicly a platform that allows streamers and influencer to obtain tokens through streaming and promoting games. Developers can also add games to the platform, which can be bought with
    tokens.

2. Play2live: https://play2live.io/en/
ICO is going on right now, probably will reach hard cap. Basicly the same as refereum but also with focus on creating/funding tournaments on their platform. Not nearly as hyped as refereum.

3. FLUX: https://flux.fund/
Focus on streaming, tournaments, crowdunding and game wagering. Basicly all what play2live does? But with the added function of wagering before games versus your opponent. MVP only supports CS as of now?

All three of the listed projects have a solid team and solid idea (refereum could add some more functions) if you ask me. I started reading about these projects before I know about airdrops, Bountys etc (completely new to crypto) and my first thought was that refereum will stand no chance with their lackluster idea vs the likes of FLUX. But now when I see the hype they have manage to create.. who knows? I still think FLUX is the superior project but I also thought that Altavista was superior to google back in the days.

What are your favorite project that focus on gaming and why?

Yeah but when they all released they will all let you have tokens. For me the wagering and raising funds to create weird tournaments sounds most interesting.

I can't find it right now but wasn't there a new ICO recently (within the past month or two) where you can sort of simulate being an eSports team owner and select free agents to draft to your team with ERC20 tokens?  I forgot the name of the ICO, but remember seeing that they had successfully raised their goal amount.  I believe they were starting with League of Legends, CS:GO and Overwatch first and expanding to other games later on.  The partners/advisors list was impressive as well.

Maybe it is this https://www.duely.gg/ ?
Sounds like an intresting concept but narrow, that dose not have to be bad though.

I like the idea of a crypto related streaming platform.

Besides, in terms of streaming, twitch and youtube are the only good market leaders for now. Not a lot of competition.

Thanks for the tips!
Theta seems to be another streaming+tournament token and 1ST has the wagering function that FLUX also will add, if I understood things correctly.
So far FLUX is the only one that offer a full platform? But maybe that is overambiousious instead...
