He let me know he's going to be promoting Bitcoin at this years Chaos Communication Camp near Berlin, Germany (http://events.ccc.de/camp/2011/wiki/Main_Page (http://events.ccc.de/camp/2011/wiki/Main_Page)) In case you haven't heard about the camp: It's a 5-day hacker camp with 3000 to 5000 participants, organized by the "German EFF", the CCC.
He asked me to get him some shirts at wholesale prices so he can use them to promote Bitcoin. I wanted to ask on his behalf if any other bitcoin businesses, especially ones that produce something with the bitcoin logo on it, would be willing to hook him up with wholesale prices or maybe some freebies (stickers, buttons, patches, etc). This kind of grass roots thing is a strong part of movements like ours and I thought it would be a good idea. Post here or PM me. I'll likely be coordinating with everyone to send a single package over to him. I dont produce a material object, But I just requested a quote for some custom usb sticks that will have 1. Bitcoin Logo 2. BitcoinBux.com Logo 3. Bitcoin exe with a small amount loaded to it. They are in the shape of a credit card and the usb connection flips out, they are called wallet usb's which is perfect. Does this sound decent? I would be looking at it as advertising for bitcoinbux.com. If it sounds lame let me know. Also I doubt Id be able to get a huge number of them. Im thinking 50 - 100. Anyways PM me or ill contact you when I get the quote. The company does overnight shipping, when do you need them in hand by? If not then maybe some hats or shirts. Let me know, Thanks.
