Oh, come one? Just 1%?! What in hell is that?

Doesn't matter I am going to beat the house. :P

That looks like %100 and %200, not %100 and %600.

Dunno, It works for me. I bet 0.1 BTC and the expected returns are 0 BTC, 0.1 BTC, or 0.6 BTC, the first being the most likely.

While I wait for the payment I rolled the dice many times and the 6 had NEVER showed up after 36+ trows. Also my math shows that after 6 trows on average you should be returning 7/6 bitcoins that get in. That ain't really good for the house is it?

Yep confirmed it with another 36 trows. The 6 doesn't come out and looks like it is not a fair odd between all numbers, could you share us more?

Not 200% as in double trouble ( http://doubletrouble.bitcoinbet.com/ )

I bet 100 BTC and got:

Naw just joking, it never appeared. I did 3*36 and got all numbers bellow 6 but never 6. Please also explain the abnormal return of 7/6.

Yeah, except it is fishy that after at least 108 trows non of them are 6. :/
Did anyone got a 6 yet?

I am got it twice. But I do 10 bets in parallel

Dunno, maybe I am out of luck. I believe the odds aren't just plain 1/6 per number. It is more 1/10 for 1 and 6 and the other just got the double. That would bring the return down to 7/10.

Title: Re: JACKPOT DICE
Post by: fabianhjr on January 29, 2011, 12:08:28 AM
Wait, how do you get 2:6 if I am getting 7:6 from summing 1:6 + 6:6 = 7:6. Also, no, I hadn't bet. I only refresh while the first confirmation arrives. xD
So it would be: 2:7 + 6:7 = 8:7 which stills makes you statistically lose. :/

Oops.... I will wait and see what happends. I funded the account with 1000 BTC to be able to pay the first winners. I thought I did my math but if it does not add up, I guess I will find out over the weekend.  :-\

I bet by the old rules! Don't change it now, please!

I'm not changing anything. :) If it turns out to drain the wallet the game closes automatically and goes into maintenance mode (i.e. refill, help mode)

Ok, cool

Also, I won and bet 5/6 the returns I got. That should be enough to always end up winning the house. ;)

Oh, cmon, it is fun. Apart do the math! He is offering a statistical return of 8:7.  For each 7 BTC in I should get 8 BTC out on average. :P
Disclaimer: I do not advocate gambling. Each one is responsible for their gambling. :)

Title: Re: JACKPOT DICE - Please read this before placing your bet!

IMPORTANT: Jackpot Dice generates a new temporary payment address every time you play. This address will change for each bet you place. Never reuse a temporary payment address or your Bitcoins may get lost!

I would expect people to know that by now...

It would be easy to confuse with probiwon's method. If he gives you an address it is good for a long time.

I crashed the site. I'd been making multiple bets at a time and getting pretty lucky, upped it to three bets of 10 and they all stopped refreshing, now I can't get the site at all.

You can lookup a lost game using the following URL:

http://jackpotdice.bitcoinbet.com:8080/index.php?account=1<ACCOUNT WHERE YOU SENT YOUR BITCOINS TO PLAY>&action=lookup

(remove the < and > and replace the text with the account where you sent your coins.)

Thanks MoneyTree, it actually refreshed after about 30 minutes and I got my BTC back (hit 100%).

What's the craic with bitcoinex? Is he blackmailing you or something?

I have no idea. Maybe this is his way of customer support.  ;D I think he runs a competing bitcoin game site and this is his way of welcoming new members to the party.  ???

Can't be bothered really, just curious as the timing went right toghether with.... ah whatever.

Never mind. :)

I contend that MoneyTree (Daniel Allen) is a frauder and jackpotdice.bitcoinbet.com is a fraud.

I made 48 bids and got the following statistics:

average num is ~2.7608

But average num of 1 is 0.3541666667 and also average num of 6 is only 0.0833333. Thus, actual odds of win is 0.8541666667.

Distribution of remaining numbers is ok, around 1/6 = 0.16.

I do not believe that the distribution of two numbers on the dice simultaneously can deviate to a double value, I think that half of the roll of 6 is converted into 1.

In addition, the conditions are such that the probability of winning at this casino is more than one (1/6 + 1/6 * 6 = 7/6 = 1.16666666667). MoneyTree did not even notice it because hi did not planned fair play.

I tried to connect with this guy but he ignored my message. All this tells me personally that this is a fraud.

I am encourage anyone never have affairs with this fraudster. Hopefully, google will keep its name in the internet forever.

bitcoinex:

Did your calculations include the extra 1 in 5 chance that MoneyTree mentioned?

It actually throws in a couple of extra chances with the 1 payout. (an extra 1 in 5 chance to be exact) This makes the game more fun and because the payout is only 100% it does not really count (i.e. there is no money lost, only a delay for the jackpot.)

I've won multiple times (when it was a 600%)

Bad luck?

I'm in the positive from the site, but now it's only a 400% return so the math is against me unfortunately, so I'm going to stop playing  ;D

But I can confirm that it works perfectly well.

It doesn't worsen your chances per game, it worsens your chances to make all your money back.

1/6 * 6 = 1
1/6 * 4 < 1
