Title: Bitcoin will survive in "cashless society" ??
Post by: First77 on February 28, 2018, 06:29:19 PM
It is said now China is a "cashless society". Use of debit cards and credit cards on online & offline stores/shops, pay bills etc..

USA and UK/England are into use of credit cards and debit cards in a big way for online & offline stores/shops, pay bills etc..

Will Bitcoin survive in "cashless society" where money becomes digital/numbers ??

Just like Bitcoin which does not have a physical presence, money/cash will not have physical presence in "cashless society/countries"

Of course it will, Surely that was one of the reasons for creating Bitcoin. I'm not sure bitcoin will actually be used as a currency, i think its more a store of value. Some of the other coins will be used as currency.
Here in the uk we are behind the times at bit with crypto, i wish it could take off here more like the states.

As more and more countries become "cashless society", Bitcoin will fail in next 5 years.

Bitcoin will survive, if the issues it has can be corrected it will be around for possibly a long time.

in some developed countries bitcoin does not use cash they only use a bank account number card, this is a more convenient and practical way for your financial security. and the community will be able to maintain the payment system by using it without cash

bitcoin is cashless society. It's probably the beginning of it as even the banks and other instituions are adopting blockchain to use it for similar purposes. therefore bitcoin as future of money makes a lot of sense

As we see, Bitcoin already is very popular, and some shops accept him, as means of payment. So that in future, I consider, Bitcoin and technology of blockchaine will be all anymore inculcated in society.

Bitcoin feels better in a non-cash economy. If the cash disappears then bitcoin will win the battle with Fiat. The scalability issue is not resolved now. As soon as this problem is solved at the global level, bitcoin will become an acceptable means of payment for trading. This will give a big boost to the popularity of bitcoin.

I don't see why it shouldn't survive. Sweden is perhaps the most cashless society that currently exists, and they are perfectly fine with using bitcoin. No cash means the difference between fiat and cryptocurrencies are reduced and there will be fewer roadblocks in the way of crypto adoption.

Bitcoin will thrive in a cashless society.  Doing everything by credit/debit card means the banks can monitor every expenditure you make for the rest of your life.  They can tell exactly where you are and which company you're transacting with every time you spend "your" money (except it technically isn't even yours in the eyes of the law, banks legally own the the money you deposit with them, you're just an unsecured creditor).  Eventually, people are going to realise this and will see such surveillance as in intrusion on their privacy.  And if more people realised the money they put in the bank doesn't actually belong to them anymore, less people would be using banks right now.

Crypto currency is actually one of the types of non-cash money. Therefore, bitcoin will most easily be implemented in those countries in which cashless settlements are highly developed. However, despite the obvious progress in the transition to non-cash settlements, it seems to me that cash for many reasons will exist for a very long time. The Crypto currency will walk in the company in parallel with cash.

Yes it will just like how other countries use btc as term of payment. Cash is just something that government give value, and if more and more people trust btc, it could bring us to cashless society soon. It's just that today, only few believes in the power of btc and so does it's still not applicable to be used as payment and can't replace cash or physical money that we are using everyday.

In cashless society bitcoin will use more because it is the famous currency that use as a payment online. It is also has lot of wallet to use to store our assets. But for me they only use bitcoin in 50% only because we have our traditional currency that use everyday.

Yes it will. It has been years that countries are mostly using electronic money/debit card/ credit card.

The reason Bitcoin will survive is because of it's characteristic that make it attractive to people, decentralization and privacy.

Even if we are living in absolute zero paper money and everything is digital it is still controlled by a few people.

Also we all know the hassle in creating a bank account or even sending money using paypal or western union, specially if you are sending a large amount.

The real question should be if we are in a cashless society do we still need FIAT.

I dont see any reason why bitcoin would no longer survive in a cashless society since people are already working on making bitcoin a payment method that you can use as easy as a credit card to pay everywhere and anytime.

Bitcoin was created especially to be used a currency but in that way that you no longer interact with a bank, through you credit/debit card so I think it is going to survive for many years. It will take some time until people are going to use bitcoin to pay for their shops because there arent many companies that accept bitcoin right now. I am sure in the future this problem will be solved and people will be able to use bitcoin instead of credit cards or cash.

Bitcoin is belong to digital transactions therefore it is absolutely yes it will survive because credit and debit cards are booth using the digital transactions in which a process that will need the power of internet and the computer which is the same way that Bitcoin transactions is using too.The only problem with this process is if these nations will not accept Bitcoin as a legal tender or as a currency to make it to become useless in the society but fortunately most of the nations are supporting Bitcoin transactions so we expect more developments of this progress.

Bitcoin went through hardest times and here it is.

The decentralized nature it has along with the ability to make your own mining is something that regular currency will never match. Can you imagine people printing their own money? As much as they want under certain laws and regulations?, that won't happen. Printing/mining regular currency you would only launch the inflationary rate and hurt the entire economy, it is impossible for it to happen.

The advantages of Bitcoin are many and no regular currency will be able to surpass it. Besides it's profitability is something no currency no matter it's nomination or nature can even come close.

in some developed countries bitcoin is a legitimate means of payment, and they do not have to use cash but digital money or credit cards, it is safer and more practical for payment, and the future community will be a payment system using non-cash money, and bitcoin will be a legitimate means of payment for the global community.

Let's go back to pre-Bitcoin times and see. The only cashless payment options were credit/debit cards which have their own risks when it comes down to online thefts and fraudulent carding activities. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, has been a solution for this long sought out problem. By making payments backed on the blockchain, almost all sorts of mishandles are avoided, making everything smooth and secure.

So yeah, Bitcoin is definitely going to be surviving the cashless society while continuing to soar in price over the years.

It depends on how a society being cashless, as what I have seen of some ideas that shared and posted, they are focusing societies without using money instead they used credit cards. In that particular answers, that kind of societies are highly economically developed, and of course bitcoin there will survive. But, when we talk about cashless society without circulation of money or without money being use to buy for something for their daily needs and their economic source of income is only agricutural products which they are using a term of barter or changing of goods, in that particular societies, bitcoin cannot survive. And as of this moment, many societies are belong to the level of a very extreme poor community or society, and without any internet connection and mostly no supply of current that produce lights at night or current energy supply, they are only using lamp at night as their source of lights. So, therfore that kind of society is no longer knowledge about bitcoin, and bitcoin there cannot survive.

Bitcoin will definitely, without a doubt survive in a cashless society. Bitcoin is really dependent on the internet, so there is no reason for it not to survive in a cashless society. In addition, bitcoin is quite unique in a way that it's value grows despite the economy of a country is down. It is more reliant on the world's economy rather than just some countries.

In China people pay more using alipay and WeChat!

Only big transactions use credit CARDS!

That's because digital money is illegal in China!

If the digital currency is legal in China, I think he will be more popular than any kind of payment!

Personally, I think the biggest value of Bitcoin would become more and more like the value storage and value transfer all around the would freely and instantly.

The so called "cashless society" is just the digital Fiat flowing . So bitcoin would live on.

Bitcoin was created for the same purpose just like credit cards  in preparation for the "cashless society". People will definitely prefer paying online with the use of bitcoin because of its anonymity and lesser fees compared to other digital mode of payments.

Even if bitcoin is used as a store of value nowadays, the mere fact that its a digital currency with lesser fees and faster transactions it can surely survive in a cashless society. Few years from now bitcoin as a currency will be fully implemented if people worldwide specially the business sector and the government will embrace this very awesome innovation for people's convenience.

P.S.

It's hard to fully implement a cashless society because there are small businesses that won't accept digital payments so cash/physical money will still be around.

China is always at the forefront in terms of electronic currencies as well as digital. But basically it still uses fiat currency previously we keep it first in our bank account and this is very different from bitcoin. Bitcoin has its own characteristics very unique and multi-function 'can be used in any way' including currency like in japan and dutch countries whose use have been considered legal.

I really don't know where did you get your basis when you say that bitcoin is failing in all its uses/talks since its still on the top and lots of people are still using it.
I respect your opinion regarding that matter. We do have different thoughts and experiences about bitcoin as an investment vehicle or as a cryptocurrency. Even if bitcoin wasn't really used as a currency for some people there are also some business sectors or individuals that are using bitcoins in their online transactions (paying their bills, tuition fees, life insurances) and basic needs. So you can't really say that bitcoin failed in its usage. Bitcoin has its own flaws, it's not perfect that's why lots of new crypto currency nowadays are trying to prove its worth to be the next or even trying to replace bitcoin.

People will always choose which is more convenient, has lesser fees and more secure when transacting online so they can't do anything about it if bitcoin will replace their 50 years of hard work.

Change is the only constant in this world. We are all moving forward to the digital world so there's a very big possibility that credit cards will be replaced with bitcoin or other crypto currency few years from now.

I'm not really certain or sure that it will happen in the future but there's a very big possibility that it will. We just don't know when.
I do believe in bitcoin's technology and I respect the efforts of the people trying to support bitcoin up until now.

Let's just wait and see what bitcoin can offer in the near future.

I think people still need cash, as you are talking about right now almost all community groups use credit cards to make payments. But as a cash changer remains the main one.
If the question is whether bitcoin will survive without cash then the answer is no. Bitcoin is more worthy of savings or investments and for the needs of daily living, of course people will still use cash as a means of payment especially for areas that have not been touched by development (developing countries).

First of all, I wouldn't say that they are cashless societies, as cash has still huge usage in the european union. and specifically in the UK, cashless societies are far away from being exist, as there are too much cash in circulation.
Secondary, bitcoin is here not to replace cash, but to replace fiat currencies, it offers the ability to transfer decentralized tokens over the internet, without the need to rely on a centralized body.
Credit card companies usually charge a larger fee and also you still use fiat money, so you are not being defended from hyper-inflation and other financial risks that involved in holding fiat money.

Bitcoin could definitely survive in the cashless society because it is one of the same forms of money.  But the thing that has to be kept in mind is that such countries would definitely have a lower rate of its usage as compared to those nations where these coins are used against the paper money. If people are already using the plastic money for payment methods and buying and selling purposes then they would find it useless to move towards the utility of digital assets.

Bitcoin is obviously different than debit and credit cards so the chances are less. This is a drawback for bitcoin and we know it. People tried implementing bitcoin debit cards but they ended up to be a fail as it took a lot of days to get processed. Not only China, US or UK are becoming a cashless society, other countries are joining in too. The future is known to be full of innovative ideas and stuff so I'd rather wait for it than arriving at an immediate conclusion.

As more and more countries become "cashless society", Bitcoin will fail in next 5 years.

cashless society an economic state whereby financial transactions are not conducted with money in the form physical bank notes or coins, but through transfer of digital information(usually electronic representation of money)between the transacting parties. So this means you have a very small chance to survive with this "Cashless society".

maybe in a country, like you mentioned in japan, english, china, and others will be able to adopt bitcoin and will survive in "cashless society".

but if in a country like Indonesia, and other countries that are still left behind, I think to create "people without cash" is also difficult.

Cashless society means digital society and Bitcoin is the king of digital currencies. So I cant think of why Bitcoin wont survive in the cashless society. It is in fact good that the whole world is slowly going digital and cashless. Also the fiat currencies cant compete with Bitcoin due to their global transaction fees whereas Bitcoin is so cheap.

bitcoin is cashless society. It's probably the beginning of it as even the banks and other instituions are adopting blockchain to use it for similar purposes. therefore bitcoin as future of money makes a lot of sense
I agree to that. I pretty sure that bitcoin is one of the cashless society. In fact, it is possible to be the alternate currency to fiat and this system are probably use with the help of block chain technology and unlike to fiat it is untouchable so it means that it is a virtual currency and in the future bitcoin are really survive and being implemented all over the world.

I agree with you, indeed since Bitcoin is a digital money and not something we hold literally like fiat money, it is indeed a money when cash will be removed. Every bitcoin and altcoin holders will be very wealthy that time.

Survive? More like thrive in a cashless society. Though I don't see that happening entirely, a cashless world would mean that people wold have to look for alternatives for doing transactions and all of us would agree here thatis even now, bitcoin is a great alternative to cash and fiat transactions

Bitcoin will survive in a cashless society because digital money is meant to be the Essenes of a cashless world. And this all what I'm waiting for a cashless world and hope it will be happen soon.

Bitcoin will survive in a cashless society. One of the main reasons why cryptocurrency was created was to improve economies and help turn money into digitalization. Of course we will not know for sure if it will survive until we push into the future, but I think it bitcoin and the rest of cryptocurrency is paving the way for big changes.

One of the main reasons why cryptocurrency was created was to improve economies

It's arguable whether it improves existing economies, or simply stands apart as a separate, more transparent and predictable alternative.  I tend to lean towards the latter.  What we're doing is still generally thought of as something almost disparate and incompatible, rather than supporting any existing infrastructure, but that may change as crypto matures.

Many people think that debit and credit cards are the future. The only problem with them is that we have only 2 payment processors which are centralised and can be easily overloaded. Bitcoin is way different than them since it is decentralised and provides even faster and independent transactions (lightning network). Give people some time to learn about Bitcoin and how to use it.

Yes, Because Bitcoin is not popular for the digital nature of it but it has the USP of decentralization which is not there in the case of blockchain fiat currencies (still in the concept form) so I don't think that a cashless society would affect Bitcoin in a negative sense but in fact, it will boost the Bitcoin user base by building the cashless environment for the users and it will be easier for them to shift their payment system to cryptocurrencies.

China is a bit different. If I remember correctly, their level of cashlessness is light years ahead of everyone else. And they use third party payment processors such as Alipay instead of debit/credit cards, which isn't yet done in the western world.

But there is no reason to believe that bitcoin can't survive in a cashless world.

In fact, as more people get comfortable with the concept of a centralized, cashless society, the obvious decentralized alternative would be bitcoin, for anyone that would like to store their wealth within a independent asset. BTC can be easily integrated into day to day commerce, just like any third party payment processors.

Altcoin is indeed an important part in the development of cryptocurrencies. Currently altcoin and bitcoin become one of the financial system with a very large number of users. The market share is also very large and even beat other online financial system that has been long. Circulated, so paypal could be unbeatable by cryptocurrency. Gradually this will continue to grow and I believe in the future that the development of crypto will increase. If calculated then the combination of crypto and fiat could provide a much safer financial system. Over time then with the digitalization then we will be familiar with crypto and it is not impossible that in the future crypto will fully take over the world's financial system.

It will happen out of necessity, and the price will go REALLY high that day, it doesn't matter what the government has to say about it. I can't wait for governments to ban all physical cash, that can only help Bitcoin. People is not going to magically give up to off-the-radar business because governments ban cash, they will look for alternatives and Bitcoin will be the most liquid one.

Bitcoin may or may not be accepted by the majority of people in the future. While it is true that technology is at a rise today, not everyone is familiar with what Bitcoin is and how it works. Bitcoin will survive in a cashless society once the majority of people have accepted it, especially the governments. It is important that the government will recognize Bitcoin as a means of payment in order for it to retain its value, and for people to have less skepticism about it as well.

Yeah, that's what I though too. Going cashless means being able to rely on technology to handle payments for you. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the point of all this to have a virtual currency in a highly digital future? Bitcoins are already being accepted by stores, augmented reality is already a common feature in our apps and gadgets and soon, headsets will replace our phones. The transition has already begun. What do you think of the fact that those who rely too much on tangible things and cant' adapt to new technologies wouldn't survive this kind of future?

With unique characteristics like anomynous, fast and fee-cheap transactions, Bitcoin has huge potentials in online payment. A cashless society will surely promote its dominance.

Agreed! I think that's the whole point of bitcoin and blockchain's inception. And that is to embrace going truly digital. It's convenient, right? No more cash, no more deposits and withdrawals. Everything will be effortless. I heard a rumor that fully adopting a virtual currency will indeed happen int the future. Yes I think so, because every year technology is being advance there's no doubt that Bitcoin will be one of the payment method and will survive on a cashless basis society.
Yes bitcoin can survive in a cashless society because even now it's mainly uesd for investment and trading online. Cryptocurrency is all about going cashless we used them for buying, selling, investment and trading all this are done online with the help of technology improvement. And I believe in the nearest future as technologies gets more improvement the bitcoin will strongly survive in a cashless society.

Possibly, it is a really tough call though, despite the dystopian futures portrayed by science fiction, whereas everyone would assimilate into digital currency use flawlessly. It is possible to live within a cashless society, but it shouldn't be rushed, Ludites need time to adopt technology. Not everyone is gung ho on innovation.

First, to clarify your claim, china is far from being considered a cashless society. Maybe, just maybe, cashless transactions are thriving in their large metropolitan cities like Beijing. But we have to remember that the largest part of china is made up of villages and provinces that are still living in poverty. The country's economy is rich though.

Bitcoin will definitely survive in a cashless society but it should be coupled with real progress in the conversion of the world into a really digital world. The progress should be parallel.

Bitcoin will only survive as a crypto asset based on pure speculation to support it's worth. Day to day transactions and real wealth will be tied to your bank account. There are many better options than Bitcoin as a medium of transfer such as credit cards that give you much better protection guarantee and rewards.

Bitcoin has really crummy safe guards and by being pseudo anonymous one can really lose everything if they are hacked or simply can't access their wallet because of a password issue. I can't really see a purpose for the Bitcoin in day to day transactions as it is not scalable and there is a transaction fee. Credit cards are for most part free if you pay your bills out in full each month.

Crypto is like a bank version of internet, where as you can save, invest and such. It does not necessarily means bitcoin is a physical aspect. Probably it will survive because this is its main purpose. To help people do transactions without having a physical interaction to a tangible money. The physical presence of bitcoin does not really need therefore it will survive in cashless countries.

Yes, obviously it will survive. The cashless society, as the name indicates avoids the use of cash. It aims at digitalizing the financial transactions. Bitcoin and all cryptocurrencies are digital, implying they don’t have any physical presence. This in fact is good for the development of cryptocurrencies. The cashless society will increase the use of cryptocurrencies and its growth.

Bitcoin is digital by nature and will be always so it's obvious that it is even better prepared to be used in everyday transactions in a "Cashless society". In fact, thanks to it's Blockchain technology it will be able to do even better than fiat in that matter.

The only need that needs to happens is Bitcoin getting more stable in some years as the mining rate decreases and it settles on the market and costumer preference worldwide.

Are you for real? Thousands of people were paid on this very forum with Bitcoin for various jobs starting with signature campaigns and ending with creation of new altcoins.
If you want examples from outside the forum, just google companies that pay their employees in cryptocurrencies. You'll be amazed how many there are.
Cash is not important. I haven't been using cash for some time now. I always have some with me in case the terminal doesn't work or to unlock shopping carts, but I rarely spend it. It's just more convenient to use a card.

You know why governments and banks are pushing for cashless society? It's not because they want to make everything more convenient or fast, they simply want to control the finance of every citizen. So, Bitcoin shouldn't be viewed as the opposite of cash, because it's digital instead of physical, in cashless society Bitcoin is electronic cash - it can't be frozen, seized and with some tools you can even hide your tracks. Just like cash is often used today for transactions that circumvent regulators and taxman, Bitcoin will be used in cashless society when physical cash will be gone.

That is the end goal i guess, for bitcoin to be the most used digital cash out there.

The era of cashless society as of the moment relies on plastics (as many like to call it), cards that you bring along with you provided by banks and governed by central authority. But bitcoin offers a different take, a purely digital means of payment, it is there where bitcoin will thrive against current convention.

Right now,for banks to issue you a credit card, one must have a good standing balance and of course a good banking track record too. Here it self, takes away the opportunity for many to avail such services. But bitcoin does not. It gives freedom to all, no categories. Rich and poor alike can utilize the system. And this is what we needed should we really want to witness a truly cashless society.

We need a permission-less platform for a cashless society to be realized, where no one is prevented the usage of platform and luckily, this is one of the innate attribute of bitcoin.

This is very likely, but it also depends on the attitude of countries to cryptocurrencies. In early May of this year, Bank of Korea (BOK) announced plans to use cryptocurrency and blockchain technology to create a cashless society. Bithumb, Korea's largest crypto exchange, is pushing for digital currency in the country. But there are also countries that ban cryptocurrency transactions, such as India.

Everything can go cashless if everyone agreed to accepting some currency as a payment of their offered sell items, or services.
If the society can managed to get everyone such as buyers and sellers into their community to agree using bitcoin, then cashless society will survived.

I think bitcoin will survive because as the society become cash less the people prefer more bitcoin because it is also a cashless money which is use by people so that they can do shopping.

Looks like Bitcoin has a future more as a digital asset and less as digital currency.

In a cashless society, transactions are done without the use of physical cash. Bitcoin being a store of value, a currency or whatever people say it is, fits in this context because it is a digital currency that requires the use of an internet to operate and it's not physical in nature. It certainly will survive in a cashless society.

Mastercard maintains 99.999 % availability and can process 3.4 billion transactions per day at 38,000+ transactions per second, with an average response time of 140 milliseconds….

Visa is at 24,000 TPS

https://www.quora.com/ (https://www.quora.com/How-many-transactions-do-typical-banks-process-everyday)

TPS = Transactions Per Second.

While bitcoin have blocks each 10 minutes with 2500 transactions aprox, that give us an averange of 4 TPS.

Yes probably. BTC is the future of cashless society though. Like paper before as a currency. This is the real world every thing will evolve into much better thing and be more innovative. It will survive for me because BTC is decentralized, meaning it is acceptable as currency in some area of the world. It has also has its value so probably as paper cash have this will probably happen on this.

I don't know about this, cashless means we would be heavily relying on crypto, and therefore every country would be using BTC, and such other cryptos as well, and in result of that, I don't think that we'll be able to survive living in a cashless society today, probably in the future yes, but as far as I can see I'm not yet sure about it though, but I am hoping for the best for our society and to the crypto world as well.

Bitcoin itself is cashless, and i think it is good because peoples are used to digital money.
debit/credit cards need a fee for 3rd party of it, but crypto is not. If cryptocurrency can be used in very low fee, then it will be the best digital currency.

I doubt we will move to a cashless society any time soon at least not in my life time, and then once that happens you need to have a universal currency everyone can accept.. as a global community we can't even agree to cut emissions or try and move to greener fuels so add X years to that figure. The way I see it is crypto will never replace a currency system instead I think there will be more adaption for the block chain tech more than anything else, to trace where food comes from, parcel tracking, communication, storage that's the true value of the tech not £/$/€

I think yes, bitcoin will survive in "Cashless Society" where people will use digital money more than paper money. Our live is become more modern every year and I'm sure someday we will not use paper money anymore, maybe like on the next 10-20 years. Bitcoin is really suit the cashless society though, like you only need scan your QR code and you send the bitcoins.

Bitcoin is now very popular, and some stores are starting to accept it, as a payment instrument. So that in the future the use of Bitcoin and blockchaine technology will be increasingly used in the community for everyday life.
There are so many more processes to happen before it is generally accepted in everyday use. But are slowly moving towards that goal

When bitcoin is available in any store, then bitcoin can be a new payment for us which we can use to buy anything in the store and not only the online store but it also in the offline store. So we don't have to use many types or credit card or debit card, and we only need to carry one wallet which bitcoin inside because it's simple to use and we don't have to use card plus we can save the PIN for that card. Besides that, it will reduce the opportunity from being stolen by another people because they need the private keys or our PIN to access our wallet.

Cryptographic currencies are currently building trust to be applied in daily activities so that they can create non-cash settlements. And bitcoin was the first to popularize the payment system using digital coins. However, despite the obvious progress in the transition to non-cash settlements, it seems to me that cash for many reasons will be there for a very long time. Crypto currency will run in the company in parallel with cash.

As more and more countries become "cashless society", Bitcoin will fail in next 5 years.
So, Bitcoin is platform to move money around cause I don't get the reason that made you said bitcoin will fail by using cashless system in the world.

Bitcoin has been the major reason we don't have to move money around but with Bitcoin you can transact with someone in another continent with out even be there and with less transaction fee and instant credit but on credit card you have to wait for some days for inter bank to remit your money which even have more fees compare to Bitcoin and don't forget that Bitcoin has no tax or third party requirements , so I don't see any reason for Bitcoin to fail in cashless environment but even will get stronger .

It's no doubt, China is indeed one step ahead of other countries, especially about AI. However this is still the early days, it looks like China will probably lead to retail and consumer ends, while other countries, maybe leading autonomous driving for now, for example the US.
China's the first country in the world to use paper money, and a number of observers believe that China too will implement a 100 percent transaction system without cash. So it's not impossible, bitcoin will be eliminated and defeated by their technology.

Cashless? Uhmm i think thats impossible . not all can afford to buy a crypto and not all times we can use s crypto . what if we became stranded on an island that no one recognize crypto ? what if there is no electricity or internet ? Do you think we can use a crypto ? No right ?

On the time that credit cards and other payment methods have invented  , many people say that cash will be extinct on the future but until cryptos came out  , cash are still here.

Ofcourse yes, bitcoin is a good example of cashless society in just one click they are paid to thier purchase. But it only happen if any store accept Bitcoin as payment, once Bitcoin accept as payment surely all transactions will be more faster. Therefore Bitcoin can survive in cashless society and I think it is much convenient to used than using credit or debit cards. But I think if you have bitcoin its better to hold it than used it as payment because its value is unstable,  so it mean there's time its value is lower and sometimes higher.

Bitcoin at the moment is considered a store of value by many people as well as money that can be transacted and used to purchase goods and services. As it has finite supply, it is here to stay for the interim. For how long it will be around only God knows and the Powers that be, but for now I see Bitcoin hanging around for a few decades at least, as long we have this technology and the Internet still in tact. If this technology dies, then Bitcoin dies with it.

in some developed countries bitcoin does not use cash they only use a bank account number card, this is a more convenient and practical way for your financial security. and the community will be able to maintain the payment system by using it without cash
It's true and besides you can get enough benefits when you are using account number card which is you don't need to withdraw your funds if you needed to buy something it will happens if the store or market is available and will accept those kinds of a payment methods.

The money stored in a bank in the form of a debit or credit card must have a physical money guarantee at the bank, and if it is said that money in a cashless society does not have a physical presence, it is wrong. even money issued and circulated in a country also has evidence of physical security in the form of gold worth the amount of money in circulation or known as the pseudo-gold system.

Yes obviously ,As times change with advancement of technology it is important to understand the future of economics. This issue would be a critical point in the history of economics, due to the many forms of economics that uses money supply as a factor in models, equations, banking, and interest rates. The change would cause a ripple effect in the economy, which is why we as economists should understand the issues that come with a Cryptocurrency and cashless society.  Using the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin to connect to the idea of a cashless society in modern times. Each disadvantage is given a solution which would allow for bitcoin to advance society towards a cashless future. Sweden is used as an example of a location which is deemed to be approximate cashless society. Insights from the Sweden model are applied to bitcoin to show how feasible bitcoin is to create a cashless society. Bitcoin is a viable option for a cashless society if and only if there are revisions to combat its disadvantages.

They have different properties and basic concept, such as anonymity and decentralization, that are the greatest advantages over fiat currency.

Maybe cashless society is possible in China or US but not in the Philippines yet. But even though thats the case, there are people and stores who are already accepting bitcoin as a payment. Since bitcoin and other crypto are digital , I am 100% sure that it will survive in a cashless society. Maybe in the future our credit cards will contain bitcoin instead of dollar or what.

Bitcoin is an alternative, but not a replacement. These two currencies are dependent. First of all, bitcoin is from Fiat. The Fiat currency, in turn, can safely exist without bitcoin, but alas, it becomes digital very quickly. Digitization is inevitable!

We appreciate its usefulness if we fully engaged into these. Basically, we just satisfied of profit we have now from bitcoin because we consider these as an investment. But it is not the only purpose of its creation, instead it is just another form of currency just like of fiat money. Of course, it will survive if the government and the community support for these.

I want to add more facts about this case. First, using bitcoin is better that using debit or credit card because there are no third parties whos we have to pay them for their service, the second one is bitcoin can increase our saving because we only need to pay transactions fees when we use bitcoin for our transactions as the anonimity that bitcoin have provided to us, it's mean we can avoid the taxation(actually I don't thing that avoid to paying tax is a good thing), the last one is by using bitcoin we can reduce admin cost which mean that our purchasing power will increase slghtly. I am sure that bitcoin is still better than other digital payment metode. Bitcoin will survive in cashless society.

To pay with bitcoin qt product / service deployed on bakkt from the average user will not be possible. You'll have to start your account in bakkt, replenish it, and then make purchases. The more goods and services will be on the platform, the more real Bitcoins will be stored on it at the same time ...

If they gather a lot of active users, they will be able to control Bitcoin through hard forks. Type as Vitalka in 2016, bitcoins stolen? - and let's hardfork and will return everything! Miners do not support? And let's change the algorithm for pos in general! Are bitcoin crust developers saying something? Yes, we also have our own ... And most will have to support, in real blockchain, they have already transferred their cue balls to bakkt account for a long time ..

In general, Bakkt is a Trojan horse in a cryptocurrency fortress

We cannot deceive ourselves it is obvious that using credit cards is more convenient than using bitcoin, to begin with there is almost no business that accept bitcoin as a form of payment and even if the waiting times are decent right now we know that when the network is busy it can take you hours to get a confirmation, bitcoin still has a long way to go to be that good.

This is really a big problem and it takes time to change. If all payment methods are bitcoin, I think in places where the internet is inaccessible, we need to have traditional money. So, in order to be ready for this innovation, the government must facilitate and develop the country so that bitcoin payment methods are used everywhere. And this takes a lot of time to change it.
without the Internet and connection to private technological networks, it is impossible to conduct any transactions on any plastic cards in Fiat, so that cryptocurrencies too will not be able to live without the Internet.

Yeah that's is true all develop countries are using debit credit cashless transaction using credit cards to paybills or use it to buy goods in the markets.

To be honest this type of payment system isn't really secured because there are some issue about the card cloning, unlike if digital currency bitcoin is very safe to use for cashless payment system because only the user can touch the phone to pay bills.
