Post by: chansss30 on March 02, 2018, 06:16:37 AM
Yeah, I have no merit, but I wasn't beg for one because I'm trying to be a good contributor on this forum. Posting good quality post for merit is not my priority, posting quality post so that everyone who needs information will assist.

In your side, will you beg for merit??

Surprised! What you said and what you did are contrasting things.
If you did not beg for merit, you have not created such a non-sense topics, or even non-sense threads in other abundant available topics about merit system. There are lots of topics created before yours discussed about the issue.
If you have plan to beg for merits, you should no do this because you will be tagged, banned soon like those ones (I give you as bonuses).
And if you keep writing such a topic, you will be listed in ignored lists of Jet Cash (who really hates merit beggars and poor-formated writers).

1. More mass merit farming (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3024695.0) (one account-farm found and about 200 accounts been banned immediately)
2. Suspected users that are abusing merits 3.0 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2896910.0)
3. Users that are abusing merit system. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2823221.0)
4. Point me to undermerited posts (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3040494.0) (Wusolini).

Furthermore, I also give you link to join topics which started by higher-ranked users who readily give their sMerits away for contributive users.
1. I have still got 80 sMerits to give away (Jet Cash) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2855783.msg29305317#msg29305317)
2. 14 merit bonus for quality users (Jr. to Sr. member) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3046992.0) (actmyname).
3. TMAN's level up challenge (UPDATE) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2825523.0) (TMAN).
4. sMerits for arts! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2957836.0) (I don't like this one because I don't think infographics are necessary stuffs; but I share it for you).

Hope my thread can help you to stay away from merit begging.

Begging for merit is not good and members must not beg for it.
Earn the members respect to receive the fruit of your quality post.
The world was not created in one day. You must have patience.
Stay positive and merit/s will come your way.
Nothing in life comes easy, you have to work for it.

Merit is a great feature introduced to promote the quality content, prima facie it looks like Facebook like but there is a catch that the merit point is limited for everyone so it is but obvious that people will try to gain as much as merits by either posting quality content or through some illegitimate activities. In the first case, it will take time to inculcate the habit of giving and receiving merits in a natural way but still, that is only recommended way instead of begging or buying merit points.
