Long way to go because firstly the regulations in place is still not clear in India whether they would be supporting the crypto or not. If they do not support so story is over and all the exchanges would be shut in coming time. Else what restriction or regulations come in if accepted based on then any exchange if it is feasible might operate and then only we will know about it.

What about Reliance plan to invest in JioCoin, its own cryptocurrency. They seems to be aware about Indian Gov thoughts.

As you already know blockchain and iot is gaining momentum in our country and even our prime minister hint the importance of these technology,i am sure that crypto will become future stock market.yup we are undergoing regulation change but i am confident that crypto will be widely accepted as profit making asset,ya but they are after crypto tax.zebpay is currently biggest exchange in india and its no of user are growing so high chance that it can create influence as a coinbase in future.they are also organising event to spread crypto awareness.

It will take longer time for zebpay as Binance and Coinbase are already established exchanges and its hugely popular among the investors/traders. on other hand, zebpay may have to face difficulties from the local government authorities and banks due uncertain regulations of cryptos. Hence, it will be quite difficult for them to run smooth operations of their services.

It would be more difficult because of slow processing and high transaction rates when trade executed but if there will be posibility then Koinex can has the potential to become an exchange like coinbase etc.

Zebpay might become but it will take time. Coinbase and Binance is way ahead in terms of quality of service. Zebpay is still a baby. Also, you never know Indian govt is always confused when it comes to cryptos. When the whole world is moving ahead with blockchain technology, they are still sleeping.

Don't think so. Even if regulations come into play and they work well for the Indians, Zebpay is already seeing a huge competition from others namely Koinex, Bitbns, etc. and if things become regularized and legal in India, there will be many more wallets and exchanges coming to India.

Becoming Coinbase is a huge thing since it involves not just security and handling of huge user bases, but also handling the support and in countries like India, there will be a big user base to handle for them.

Only after JioCoin is launched, crypto currencies will be legalized in India.

It is possible, but depends on the overall industry's future - by industry I mean future of exchanges like coinbase, binance, or zebpay. altogether

Zabpay has been pretty professional since the start compared to several others. They ask for all kind of KYC of course, so its not for those looking to sell bucketloads.

What it has been good at is adopting changes and adding features.
They have implemented the backward-compatible Segwith addresses beginning with 3.
They now allow trading amongst users and placing long term buy/ sell orders.

From the professionalism, I think they have a good chance of becoming a big exchange. First though, they have to work actively towards deploying a proper website with the required security with all the analysis features typical of the bigger exchanges.

They have a long way to go but are one of the most promising candidates. I hope they can stay serious about enabling blockchain technology rather than just concentrating on making their millions like most Indian startups end up doing( For example Snapdeal, Flipkart etc.).

Zebpay is already the coinbase of India. Its the leading exchange and the one which newbies always use before beginning their career in cryptos. But it surely isnt the binance of India until now. I think Koinex has the potential to become Binance of India. Simply because of the fact that it has a lot more coins and has much better interface for trading altcoins than zebpay. Zebpay is still just a buy sell platform wallet not a complete exchange like koinex.

JioCoin is a myth ... There is no such coin going to come from the company itself

Well, their business is Selling and Purchasing Cryptocurrencies so any changes in policies regarding such may affect their business.

and as for our Government,
I am sure they're still finding a way to impose more tax to loot us more, and I am sure when people started investing in cryptos instead of policies or other funds scams from which our government earns. They see they're losing money and decided to illegalise it and yet nothing much into it because they may be thinking to milk out from this too, just needs time to figure out how :P

An exchange is all about trust.. Trust comes from what people are doing in your environment.

If people start using Zebpay in India, then Zebpay has the potential to become coinbase of India.

Zebpay has registered most no. of users among the any other Indian exchange in INDIA. Now even more coins has listed on Zebpay. But if Zebpay wants to become Binance of India, it has to launch more coins on it platforms and also more trading-pairs apart form INR.

zebpay unocoin are Indian blockchain exchangers still under development we can expect these 2 companies grow very fast but both the exchangers are centralized to become decentralized and use higher security for project is worth taking into consideration

Of course , ZEBPAY has a great potential to be established as a coin base in India.The requirement is not only trust but also some updates to be done.

Considering the shabby level or service provided today, I hope Zebpay pulls up its act and actually gets bought by Coinbase. Hopefully then the service level will be upped.   As of now I would never ever use/recommend Zebpay to anyone, Unocoin is a far better option.

There's lot of issues that need to be sort out . Hopeful for zebpay.

because they dont have online exchange website for desktop, they only have app.

they can be big once they launch the website for trading from desktop. .e.g koinex

We cant compare coinbase or binance , but i am sure zebpay will improve day by day with services and accumulate more crypto onboard

Do you think that they cannot influence the government, just take a look at the petroleum industry here, the private giant reliance is earning huge profit squeezing the common man and the government is supporting them and you think that they cannot make a change in their thought process when they wanted to come up with their own coin. :P
I dont think so Zebpay can be like coinbase as it can be traded only with mobile phones and they do not have a web based platform.
