Why alt coins are good for trade ? why not bitcoin ? 

It is because of the reason that every coin which is there in the world of crypto currency has got some specialty and investors invest in any particular coin based on the properties of that coin.

All the altcoins are considered as the best coins for the sake of day trading and short term investment of money and that is the reason most of the traders trust them as compared to that of bitcoin for day trading.

It's true that besides bitcoin here many use altcoins as a trading coin, many people like to use coin altcoins because of the very fast market movements to seek short-term profits, that's one reason.

The risk in altcoin is bigger. The swing of it price is to dangerous. If you just buy coin only depend on price then its just the same as gambling but if you buy altcoins with good reason like its fundamental aspects, then it safer to trade those altcoin is good for you because the coin only has small chance to die.

Every traders wants gaining profit and they're also wants that as a something short of times, so they're search to invest for daily well rising coins. bitcoin also their good choice for long-term investment.

I deal mainly with altcoins, since it is really more profitable than bitcoin. I think that the altcoins have more growth potential. The bitcoin is already too expensive and once a lot of times it will not grow. And many altcoins are inexpensive and therefore can well rise in price.

Well basically the current set up we have is that we trade or bitcoin into altcoins, since some alts doesn't have yet their own system of trading fiat directly to their coins. And trading your bitcoin to alts will give you opportunity to increase your btc count and not just the fiat value. Like for me, I was able to double my btc count buy buying altcoins at the bottom prices and trading it back once it went bullish.

Trading small sums in alt coins is better because some of them have small transaction fees. If you are a beginner in trading you'd usually start with a small sum of money and if you'd try to do trading in BTC you'll get eaten by the fees quickly.

I think that why many invest in altcoins because this are many coins that very cheap and very afordable to invest and have potential to getting higher value when it comes to short trade,i think now bitcoin is very high value this is good for a long term trading.

Considering the price of bitcoin, Bitcoin will be your base for trading and that is the usual pattern traders do they will tend to choose between Bitcoin and Ethereum because this two coins had the most value and a good base for your trading for most altcoins, I can say that Altcoins are only good for tradings.

But it all comes back to the kind of alt that we choose if they have the potential of course there is an advantage we can get from altcoin.

Bitcoin is best trade because we have more chance of hiking in the bitcoin. It has lesser factors which affects its up and down as compared to the alts. However, alts are such that they depend upon many factors and you have to be keen regarding its news update. Project development should be in line with white paper and roadmaps. Team must be very active so that we can see some developments regularly and then can see some hikes in the altcoin prices. Plus they have no surety that they will end legit always so thats big concern as well.

I believe if we compare advantages and disadvantages like this then bitcoin stands better chance of growing and trades can be made smoothly on it.

In my opinion. altcoin is good for trading because the amount of coins is still a lot and the price is cheaper than bitcoin is very expensive to trade. to get altcoin is also easier than obtaining bitcoin.

Have altcoins volatility is many times more than bitcoin ,it's just for experienced traders .

the first reason is capital, to trade bitcoin you need big capital.
and bitcoin is not suitable for short-term trading, more suitable for long-term investments.

I think current situation is volatile so all the  cryptocurrencies are up and down are possible so Bitcoin is not a comfortable for trading. But many altcoins are available in the market they will make better profit. Some peoples are only trading current market most of the peoples are invest in long term investment because trading is a risky investment.

Some people choose altcoin trading because they think it might be more profitable for them. But if you don't have enough knowledge you might select the wrong coin and lose your money. So holding bitcoins is safer, but has lesser amount of profit in given time, whereas altcoin trading is riskier, but can give more profit in a short time.

Alts are at their low price now, so they are for holding until I guess 3rd quarter of the current year. Since I don't have yet the money for BTC, I acquire alts which can be traded at the proper time for me to get higher earnings. I always believe that alts are for short tem investment and with the right research you can have the good and alts to trade in due time.

I don't think only altcoin are good for trading even bitcoin is great for trading.And not alts are good,only the exceptional one like Ethereum,Ripple and few others which have done good in past are suitable for trading.People just go for alts trading because there are lot of coins which works on pump and dump scheme and they can get a good profit out of it but only smart ones are good at it and not every one.

There are a few altcoins suitable for trading like Ethereum, Ripple and few others. Bitcoin is also good for trading. Only is that because as of now, trading alts is more popular abd widely used than trading bitcoins. But as what I have said earlier; bitcoin is still a viable coin for trading. Altcoins are as well, just choose the ones that give a  good price curve so you won't have to fear losses.

If you only consider crypto for the "trading" part, then alt coins are indeed interesting. Why so? Because when you buy any alt coin, any crypto other than bitcoin, you mitigate your risk. When bitcoin prices get low, price of all cryptos tend to fall... but some more than others. One day maybe, curbs will differ completely from one crypto to another.

So buying several is a way to mitigate risks. And bet over the future of several alt coins.

Plus, some alt coins are dedicated to some projects. Or can be used on platforms that only accept these kinds of coins.

I personally do not think it is not trading with BTC, the price of all coins moves so fast and with such differences (10% - 15%) per day that they are the perfect trading tool on a daily basis.  :)

Altcoins are highly volatile due to usually pump and dump nature but Bitcoin being less volatile as compared to alts can return huge in trading if you are an experienced trader.

Bitcoins transaction are pretty much slower than when it was first introduced or in its first couple of years plus the transaction fee is pretty darn high in this current day. Trading altcoins is more profitable than bitcoin because some of it can literally change the course of our payment and transaction in the future because altcoins has different functions.

If you know what you are doing and can make profit by trading then by all means do it. But if you do not understand the market, stay away from it.

None of the alt coins is better in comparison to bitcoins. However, you may invest in some alt coins for diversification. If you do not want to invest in lot of two coins, I will suggest you two coins:

1) Ripple: Ripple is currently available for $0.8 only and it is expected to go to at least $5 by the year end. This gives a very good return to the investors and thus I have invested some money there.

2) Ethereum: If there is one coin which will survive even after bitcoin, it has to be Ethereum. That is why I suggest every investor to split money in between bitcoins and etereum and this will give maximum safety.

Come on man who says that. I dont think it is the case we looking at. Actually bitcoin is better in all sense because it is ever growing though it falls down unlike the altcoins. The altcoins are actually worst in the recovery as they lack the investment speed and accuracy. The speed and accuracy? It gets divided because there are many more options to choose from when we talk about the different altcoins. But bitcoin is just one and they have no choice but to invest into it. So the trade becomes even faster in case of the bitcoin and we can just grab the opportunity when it is in downfall always and win the market in short period of time. Thats why bitcoin is far special than altcoins. But dont now what has got you thinking that altcoins are better.  

 bitcoin price is extremely high if you are just a small capitall trader you can only get a fraction of bitcoin while in altcoins you can buy them at their ICO price before they get too expensive and you will have a dozens or hundred tokens depending on what Altcoins you will gonna get.

Cause it's almost impossible to x50-x100 in 1 year with BTC. But well promising alt coin projects which lower market cap can do this.

for me it is better to trade altcoins because its more cheap buy and sell than bitcoin.. but if u want to buy bitcoin.. buy in low price and hold tight until u can get profit..

I think everything is good for trading. Some are better because they have big fluctuations and you can win ... or lose, depends on the trader's skill.

some people say that if you trade alt you can get more pforit than bitcoin, if your capital is low, but if your capital is high i think you can get some profit too from bitcoin, and secondly altcoin fee to send is lower than bitcoin so some people think that using altcoin is very profitable because they can save more money for transfer fee

Bitcoins transaction is very high and I don't think is good for trading, because buy and sell of few trades will take away almost all the profits made. However altcoins isn't much like bitcoins in terms of fees for trading. I think this is one of the major reason most people prefer trading with bitcoins. Bitcoin network is almost congested and the slow transaction is also a problem to traders.

Trading with altcoins is the best way to make money because there is a lot of altcoins in the market that you can choose from and they have good prices to buy right now so it is a good way to make money just buy altcoins, just the good ones and keep them for a while and wait for the price to go up and then that is when you will sell.

Altcoin fluctuations are higher than bitcoin. Altcoin paired to Bitcoin. And the movement rate can be 2x or more. So many people trade altcoin to btc rather than btc to fiat. Simple answer is trading altcoin most of the people including me increasing bitcoin holding . By trading altcoin try to increase our bitcoin holding . Buying bitcoin using fiat and selling for fiat not profitable because of huge margin in local exchange.

exactly. I usually trade with these altcoins at very cheap prices and never invest in bitcoin. Maybe I was obsessed by its unstable up and down, and I could not afford to invest much in bitcoin. However, investment in altcoins is more profitable than bitcoin. I have tested commercial altcoins Bitcoin and at the same time and the profits that altcoins gives me is formidable than Bitcoin.

I think trading with altcoins gives you profits in just a short period of time, and you will also buy it in a cheaper price and sell it in 5x of the buying price. This will help a lot of traders to earn easily unlike with Bitcoin that is very expensive coin and you should wait for a longest time for you to reach your target price.

You have to be informed about your every move . For example, before trading with any alt you have to know everything about it ( when does the alt coin created, its creators, the budget cap, the hard forks, the updates, the airdrops) if you are not informed about these things you might be caught off guard. For example, you bought an altcoin, x, then you dont know that x will be delisted on the exchange you are in next week. Then your money might be wasted. Do your research and learn from your mistakes and triumphs. Also, learn from other's experience as well.

I think not even you're not investing then you'll get big bucks because all the coins in coinmarket have fallen so good to buy altcoin now because of cheap and fallen price

trade with alt can help trader disperse assets. alt short term can give high profit to trader if they bioe information capture fast or know technical analysis

I think altcoins are better to trade than bitcoin because they are much cheaper and some has lots of potential of going higher price. Some altcoins especially if you buy from ICO can give you a big ROI if it succeed.

But as i answer the question above, I think, Nowadays, I believe that Altcoins is now better than bitcoin, most specially in trading. Because of its rising price and demand, I know that it will get a higher price rather than bitcoin.

Why alts is better than bitcoin because of its expensive value and too hard to get a single bitcoin. You can get altcoins and other in low price then trade it if you are a low capital trader. Altcoins are more profitable than bitcoin because of its low price and has a high chance of pumping its price.

When bitcoin market fluctuations are not large, the altcoin is traded more so the price can change significantly, trade altcoin will threaten you but the interest if you place a reasonable order.

Bitcoin is good to invest but all your treasures should not be invested in bitcoin alone, you should look for altcoin to invest as well in order to avoid the risk of large losses by crossing your property to cover when bitcoin is down investment .

Alternative currencies are mostly based on a product or services and trading on them look so apparent that , the news and development from the project is worthy to make trading decisions than bitcoins which got its price movement on speculations from traders and other government regulations.

I think btcs is more widely expanded platform and have more users and so more competition. Alt are advantageous for trade with less congestion

the prices for majority of the alt coins are very low and such even a incremental increase in its price could translate into thousands of dollars in profits depending on how much you invested  take for example a $1000 in ripple and ripple is being sold for 0.35 and that coin should progress to only a $1 than your investment would now be worth a whopping $2857 ...meaning you would have appreciated a profit or return on your purchase price of $1857 that's almost a 200% return , whereas to buy a bitcoin you gonna need well over $6000 for alts some value even less than a cent ....importantly though not every alt is worth even its name and so you have to be extremely careful when you attempt to do this kind of investment. Interestingly though at one point the value of bitcoins was once where the prices of some altcoins are today

I agree with you. For me bitcoins are good for long term investments while altcoins for me are good in day to day trading, like for example if the market is red you can buy altcoins that have a potential to rise and sell it when it when the value is higher compare to the value when you bought it.  I mean alts also is not that expensige when you buy it and sell it while bitcoins value is to expensive for day to day trading.
