Those are helpful links, apart from that just respond to the threads that interest you, leaving viable and useful answers. The quality and number of responses determine the ranking.

From JR members become Member need 60 activity, and it also need 10 merit, when you release a quality post or reply, so could someone gave you some merit, so try to express some high quality posts, then you can update rank soon.

Formerly you can rank up easily because the only things that you need to secure is activity requirement to the rank that you want, but now, you need also the minimum merit requirement for you to got rank up.

As we know, we have merit system now here in the forum that serve as strategy to avoid spam post in the thread, and if you want to rank up you need to get merit first that are needed to your desire rank, so you need to post quality that have something to help people, so yo have the possibility to earn merit that are needed for you to rank up as mention by theymos as Administrator here.

Getting higher ranks in bitcoin talk is not an easy thing to do but if you can work really hard and that you put in bets of your efforts, then you will be able to get higher ranks which will then help you in having greater money as well.

You need to gain lot of knowledge regarding the things related to that of crypto currencies and that you need to convey that knowledge to you and will help you in having a better earnings.

Follow this and post accordingly since it only have 3 weeks period.

To rank up has nothing to do with the quality of your post.
You can receive merits only from people that have merits to give, of course.
So, enter in the theread where high ranks discuss, and start to flatter them, write bad thing about newbies, complain about shitposters, eventually start to denounce people to the moderators.
You will receive a lot of merits.

Honestly, it's hard to rank up the Bitcointalk account these days.
There are two factors which have to collect, those are merit and activity.

If you main goal is to rank up, it means that you didn't understand what the utility of this forum is: you are here to learn to trade and to make a lot of money with cryptocurrencies, not to write tons of shitpost just to earn some cheap money to pay your bills.
So, focus on what it's important, the bouties are just a way to promote a good idea, not a way to make a life.

Now the forum is frozen, so the chances to rank up are minimal.
Eventually, it seems that there are people that sell merits.
Btw, it seems to me completely stupid: the only reason to rank up are bounties, but now are not so profitable anymore.
So, focus on trade.
