hey guys tell me is there any prediction that bitcoin price can move upto 17k again in 2018

ofcourse yes. many crypto experts predict it will go 20k by the end of the year (or even more)
And also it's still the year for cryptocurrency, it's growing every day

This is not going to be a phenomenon that lasts a few years, but it's long-term, can be even centuries.

More and more bigs are investing their money either buying crypto directly or buying shares of crypto-related companies. ( E.g. George Soros now is investing in crypto ; ) )

That will make the cryptocurrencies gain popularity and price value.

Yes OP, i can confirm that most predictions see the price between  $20 and $30k by the end of 2018.

If you can wait a little bit more and you don't have the urge to sell , in the 2019 they predict it will be around $50k-$80k .
I bought about $4k of crypto last summer and i hold at least until  Christmas 2019 :)

according to them 2018 will be a year of good fortune accompanied by small surprises on the way. IMO we just have to be ready to face any thing that will happen and obviously bitcoin price will reach $ 20k in june. this is still the year of his cryptocurrency to remain victorious.

I think it will reach 17k USD in May or June but surely it reach more than 25k USD at the end of this year. The current market is still fluctuating because some hackers are stole the Binance site but again it will pump so you should wait for one month because Russia is implementing the legalization of Bitcoin so it will going to peak.

There will be no legalization of bitcoin in Russia. It is a fake. Give me an example of any country where the authoritarian regime legalized bitcoin. This is not and never will be. Such regimes are based on oppression of people. Bitcoin gives people freedom. You have to fight for it. Do you know an example of people coming to the demonstration demanding the legalization of bitcoin?

17k is not impossible to reach on this year. 'cause we all know that every year bitcoin price always touch down  the new all time high value like what happened on 2k17 bitcoin touch down 20k . so perhaps on this year there will be another ATH. Just keep HOLDING pal. 

All predictions are only predictions and there is no one who can answer you your question. It can go to up to 17K it can reach new all time high and it can crash.

Yes, there are bigger chance that bitcoin can go to $17K or even further. Its just a matter of when we are going to hit it. The beginning of this year was not that good to be honest and now the price seems to go deep and maybe we are going to hit below $9K again.

However, because of the negatives news plus some whales sold huge amount of his bitcoin causing the market to make another correction. But I'm still positive that at the end of the year, we will make a rally and probably go and test another all-time-high. So it will be bigger than $17K. It could go above $20K. Just continue to hold and don't panic specially during the correction that we are witnessing again.

And many of the so-called experts were totally wrong...

2018 is going to be the year for regulations, taxes, and similar things. It's going to make a lot of people wary and waiting to see what will happen next and so they see cryptos as a more risky than before.

do your own analysis and see how bitcoin move in the past and you will understand that bitcoin has breakthrough an unexpected level and in the past has make a very high significant progress. Bitcoin has done a road map already and we only need to follow those road map in other to be able to predict it highest in 2018 of $17,000.

You can hope that we stay in the 10k to 12k area in 2018 and don't slide down further.

Yes, the price of the Bitcoin will break 17,000 $ or more, but the real question is "when"?.

• Don't invest recklessly, The price of the bitcoin will continue to rise to  100,000 , 100,000 and 1000,000,000,000.
• The price now stabilized at 1000 $ so it is unlikely that the price will rise significantly through short-term.

Short-term, the probable answer is no, seeing that a huge resistance in the $12k areas is still alive and opposes any upward push made in the market. 3-6 months? Still also holds no certainty whether the price will push or not. Right now any negative or positive news, no matter how insignificant they may be affects the bitcoin market in a huge way; I don't know if you can call that a natural market reaction but from the looks of it, it seems that everything right now is hyped by the traders be it big or small. Wild rides ahead, though $17k is pretty much unachievable if resistance levels aren't breached confidently.

It is entirely possible that happens but we can not assure it, the price is going down once again and now it's below $9000 this seems like the perfect opportunity to buy your bitcoin but it isn't clear when will reach that value, after all it seems that bitcoin is under attack and that there is a concerted effort to keep bringing bad news about it all the time.

People are predicting thousands of percentage growth in a year which is absolutely absurd for anybody that has bothered to do research in bitcoin. It is not an investment that will make you rich over night. The pump last year was mainly because of hype and fomo, as well as actual growth in user base for bitcoin. But that growth can't continue.

While $17k is possible, it does not seem likely in this period where the market is primarily bearish.

$20k+ is pretty much ruled out already at this stage. We're going to see lots of new regulations coming off a huge pump, and that's affecting markets already. Load up for the long term but don't expect short term profits.

Its not 100 percent certain but there is a probability of it doing so. But at the same time, don't be surprised if we end the year with the price of $10k or so. A lot of influencer investors have predict it reaching above 17k too but the truth is, nobody can really say because bitcoin and any other cryptocurrency is quite unpredictable. If it didn't reach your expectation, do not sell off. Keep calm and hold

I still hope it happens, and most likely it will happen in the middle of the year. probably in May, or June. I know that the current decline in bitcoin prices gives rise to extraordinary panic. but, I think this is often the case with bitcoins.

what do you mean bitcoin price down $ 17k? you do not see the current price chart? if you look at the price graph now means up instead down. I do not understand what you mean LOL!
IMO prices will rise if the current situation could end. bitcoin must break the price at $ 13k in order to start take off to achieve its real purpose.

Even more than 17K,there are experts who have said BTC will continue grow up to 30K and whether or not it will happen but I believe BTC will be better than current price.Various opinions I have seen and many also believe that BTC will not stop here.

You can ask McAffee, he still guarrantee he will eats his balls if BTC does not hit moon soon.

Of course, it is possible to achieve 17k $. But not a short term. In my opinion, it is more likely that this will happen in the second half of the year. The price can reach even the new ath, but it can not be 100% predicted.

But anyway I'm always just thinking, nowadays the price movements it's very slowly to climbing, this is can be a big question when looking at the price is always stuck, it certainly can be causes doubt among many people, let alone for a lay people who are trying closer to bitcoin without knowing to holding for a long term.

I have heard or read an article, that experts say that by 2018 bitcoin prices will reach about 50k-80k because people who invest in gold have turned to bitcoin due to reduced supply of gold, it is rumored in the mass media, and hopefully this can be realized.

I 've heard that experts predictions on bitcoin may hit $60k, no one can say it would be true. Due to bitcoin price is up and down, their is an instance price can recover. Their is always the positive notes that it may reach $17k or above.

I can for sure tell you that the price of bitcoin can reach to $17k back in 2018 and I also believe that it will cross the $25k mark this year pretty easily as it has been seen in the past dumps that bitcoin first hits a bottom and then shoots up and in a single shot reaches to a far great height than pervious high. So this the situation when we must buy bitcoins and wait for the rise of price to sell and take the profit from it.

At this year end ,the price of bitcoin will reach 25,000$ .In crypto news,expectation is 35,000$.The reason for the price dump is due to the hackers,some of the bitcoin is hacked.Due to this ,they may sell their holding bitcoin in other wallet.Finally it's lead to the dump in price of bitcoin.

I am not sure that the price of bitcoin depends on the actions of hackers. These coins are frozen for a long time. Steal coins is not enough. They need to withdraw and it is very difficult. The absence of a large number of coins on the market makes the price of bitcoin only more. There is another reason.

I believe that it will happen soon in the mid of this year. We can see the bitcoin price to be neutral in recent days. Don't miss this chance of buying when it comes low because of fear and don't get worried when it shoots high. If adoption rate increases and people starts buying the price keeps on climbing.

Given that we are not even on the middle of this year, many possible things may happen. I do believe that its market peice will increase in the future. Just invest for now to don't miss the opportunity. Bitcoin last year suffered from situations as such and as we can see it was able to recover on every deflations. It is too early to make predictions for this year. Seeing it for ourselves will be more enjoying. But I bet it would cross t3k mark for this year.

It's quite possible, I think. Recent news though suggest there could still be possible drops in price as the Japanese government is offloading hundreds of millions worth of bitcoins and bitcoin cash to liquidate the tokens on hand with them which was confiscated from the defunct Mt.Gox. It was sold to raise funds to pay off the people that had a claim against Mt.Gox. Though I think they have raised enough as I think they have already sold $400 million worth already. But I am not sure if they will continue to sell, as from the news they said they still had $1.9 billion worth still left to sell.

We are just starting the year and there are a lot of possibilities ahead. I believe 17k is a possibility and it is not like a huge one considering where we were coming from anyway. We still have some resistances ahead of us, so one should still keep all those in mind but I believe in the possibility of seeing this value or probably a little more even before the end of 2018, but I guess time will end up proving us wrong or right since that is all we have.

17k sounds very reasonable. Bitcoin has shown sign of strength and of course we have broken some resistance already which will make the remaining upcoming ones to break if we keep go testing them. However, I am sure that there is a huge possibility to see this happen, so the predictions that anyone gives, should not be far from reality. 2018 is still very young, so a lot is possible.

It is possible that this will happen, but not in the near future, I think that we will see such a price closer to the middle of the year or a little later

Bitcoin can move up on that price and believed its more than that. Many speculation that bitcoin can go up to 30,000$ this year so i will do wait that time. Just keep on holding for you to get a good profits.

Bitcoin can be $17k this month.  But that dont mean that it would also stay above that price. Bothering with Bitcoin price is useless unless you really need a money to buy something urgently.

There is panic in the market we cannot really deny that but at the same time I keep seeing predictions that simply do not make any kind of sense, this year is going to be a very rough year for bitcoin, to be honest this is nothing new if you look at the charts you will see that after a very good year bitcoin has a problem doing well in the next year, this means we cannot expect a great price increase in this year.
