Block rewards of 1.75 is insanely low. It will take 2 months just for me to get 1 coin now (at current network hash), even less in a few months. I'm waiting to dump my BTCP and quit my job.

My mining rig with 1300sols earns around 0.034 of BTCP per day. Based on current rates, that is (0.034btcp*0.008btc)=0.000272btc or around $2.7 daily. Miners would need to bank on future value, in which case it would be better to mine most profitable coin then just buy BTCP.
