Why all coins drop so rapidly? Anyone can tell me ?

Large players control the market. I watch a lot of negative news that is spreading through informative platforms. I think that these are planned actions in order to lower the price even lower and cause people panic.

for now may be the day of worldly survival, because the price of coins is down all .. so sad to see it.

Many reasons behind. Closing of trades, exchanges, rules on forbidding usage of crypto currencies, keep waiting to rotate the coins being held by individuals, closing of mining pools and etc causes altcoins prices fall to the ground. Really pathetic situation from January 2018. But hope that altcoins will have hectic boom this year unlike past years.

All altcoins are falling in price due to negative news related to the hacking of bills on the Binance exchange.

Have you heard about the Mt Gox. He sold more than 400 million dollars worth bitcoin and BCH to settle the people. This is the major issue which impact all the cryptos dumped in the market. Next US and Japan are the reasons.
These countries regulate the crypto trading along with huge taxation. With in some weeks all will settle better and grow more than 14k USD before this month ends.

It's hard for me to be calm at such a moment. My confidence is weakening. I suffer losses of thirty percent. But I knew that such a scenario is possible. The worst thing I can do now is close all transactions.

As usual, the next fall, that serious uncles could buy a cheaper crypt. We look at how all are purchased and in a month there will be another growth, everything in the market is cyclical.

I think the alt coin drop is more to due with the SEC report on exchanges that may not be lawful. This is causing allot of uncertainty around alt coins and the ico market because this is where these alt coins are listed. This with mt gox maybe. I think the binance hack if anything should fill you with confidence in the speed and efficiency they dealt with the matter

Didn't you understand? It's How crypto market works. Sorry I did not stay updated about the market following days. So I can not explain a reason/s about this fall. But Its the time to buy some coins and pack them until the next jump.

Disappointing news comes from the East.  Nobuaki Kobayashi said that he had sold 35,000 BTC and the same amount of BCH within six months in order to pay off debts to creditors totaling about 400 million us dollars.  The publication Trustnodes conducted analytical calculations, where it was obvious the impact of sales Nobuaki Kobayashi on the market,expressed in sharp falls. Under the management of Kobayashi is still 166 344 BTC.

Nothing special, just another portion of the negative manipulative news to dump the market and to get rid of weak hands. Right now is it really very difficult to make any predictions about market recovery. It will happen, but when... I know one thing, many shitcoins  ain't gonna survive this falling.

If market does not goes up or down rapidly how big brothers steal little fish's money.

When bad news spread on prime economy channels and little fish start to panic sell its the buy time.
When good news and new ath seen and 1 million goal rumors spread it is the sell time.

This is all cyclical. There is enough support for BTC whenever it breaches a lower threshold. So, it will not nosedive. However, we have to understand that Dec/January was a blip. Its a bit immature to see the value rise to $20k. It had to come down. Even now its trading at $9k. Not bad. In log run, its not going below that.

One more thing: Bad news from china, US has already hit it. So, its time to go up now.

I am surprised for ETH though.

Yes the bad news come out about the binance exchange was hacked and some more negative news about Bitcoins , so the value of btc was drop around 15 percentage and the market recovering slowly.

Worse news was when MtGox was shut down. BTC recovered fairly good from there. There is enough support to keep the valuation in few thousands $$.

It seems to me that these negative news have already passed, now the fall has stopped. In any case, the market is managed by large players. We can not do anything about this

Generally crypto currency does not have to constantly grow, why is everyone always so surprised when it falls?

.Cryptos will fluctuates from time to time, this is a natural occurrence that we must accept and understand. This is an opportunity for investment that we can take advantage for. Besides the drop is not hard for me compare to last year value. We are still having a good price I think so we should not panic.

It could be regulation uncertainty, that's my guess given the SEC report the other day and the announcement of the meeting next week to discuss ICOs. I think people are scared certain coins will be considered illegitimate and that could have a know on effect on people's holding. This is what I come across anyway. It could be a whole number of reasons.

The value of coins, altcoins, depends on the price of BC, when some fund sells large amounts of BC to take profits or manipulate prices, the coins will fall.

So that is the major factor that we are seeing from the peak from December to the current slump. It was reported that he has been doing it since December of last year so it make sense now that we are witnessing a nose dive since that time.

I believe that there is no need to panic. Falling and rising is the normal state of the market. After the fall will always rise! It is necessary to have patience, though I do not know how much the fall can last (

and for now the price is down, you may buy it because it's going to rise. you don't need to panic because this is crypto world, even the smallest news can lead to disastrous market. all you can do is analyzing the flow chart and market, and possibly read the news, and go surf internet more. the more you know the more you can be prepared.

There are many reasons why most of the altcoin so far are dropping their value. Of course the price value of bitcoin was also dropped down which may lead the altcoins or coins also dropped in the market second is that there many false fud news about the altcoins or bitcoin something like that mate.

As for me it looks like a large correction before intense growing somewhere near summer-autumn. And it didn`t drop a lot, the price is like in November.

There is no change in term of technology from few months ago. Just people want to sell before everyone else and hope to buy it back cheaper. Sometime it works out and sometime no.

I think it is strong winter correction , and maybe in spring we will see bullish trend on crypto market  ;)

where you at in the past month? it's been like this for over a month now so i don't think we should get surprised on alts falling down in a regular manner, actually there's a pattern to it, whenever bitcoin touches 10k to 11k there's a big chance it will dump few days later atleast below 10k which makes alts getting hard to increase again.

I think this is the act of the rulers .. the rulers are not willing to physically replace the money with the coins online, the rulers who control the physical money is the mastermind of the falling price of the coin. they spread negative news about coin coins online, they do not want the money they hold to be no its price.

So much scary weak hands who are already selling. And the guy from MT GOX Exchange who is spreading a lot of fud because he holds ovr hundert of thousand of bitcoins and nobody knows if he will sell this coins. And of course to many whales who controlling the market, and buying everything when they drop it under value.

The past weeks have seen alot of turbulence in the cryptocurrency space and these were fueled by the SEC's announcement of fresh regulations for exchanges which traded cryptocurrencies,a supposed hacking of binance,Sell off of bitcoins by Mt. Gox to help pay their users and so on.Most definitely this turbulence will calm down and we'll be back up again.

The whales are taking advantage of the bad news about cryptocurrency to dump the whole market to collect a big amount of good cryptocurrencies with as lowest price as possible. This  is very normal and it happen everyday in the crypto market so I think you shouldn't worry to much and don't check the price everytime cause it only make you feel panic and FUD all the time.

There are many factors but if you want a simplified answer then I will say don’t worry things will calm down and this all price bloodbath will be over in next maximum couple of month and in next two weeks you will see the things will start coming back to track.

The current market is really shaky, I also ask that question a lot and all possible answers and reasons I get
are related to regulation issues, government related crypto stuff and some major whale dumps. Uncertainty
seems to prevail in the market these days, but deflations are not gonna last all the time, the market will rise
and stabilize. It's an ugly and unpleasant situation we have at the moment, but it's best to keep holding and if
it gets any worse which has been speculated a lot lately, I'm gonna buy bitcoins and altcoins if they go down.

In my opinion it decrease rapidly for bitcoin decreasing dramatically. I always observed that if bitcoin will increase almost altcoins increase too but if it will go to decreasing almost altcoins decreasing too. Now all coins are dropping. It depends on what campaign you join and how there coins or stakes valued. It also depends on how you trade. If you do not know how to trade, the coins you have will drop. If you have the old falls within the realm of crypto then you will be addressing ordinary things like this. prices go down much of it reasonable. I believe so too, there is no real correlation to this, a while ago there were news regarding hacks and investigations but now it‘s quiet on the news front, even facebook announced that the crypto ban will be reversed but the market is still tanking. Something smells fishy here.

its normal i think, after the hype and rising period from end of 2018 to Q1 2018. didnt you join crypto for a few years ago? you should see the trend, now is the right time to add another invest on cryptocurrency. dont be panic if you loss your investment. my analysis are the price will not recover sonn or until end of this year.

I also agree with your suggestion as the manipulation is from those that have big shares in this coin, they cash out when the price is high thereby making the price fall and they buy back when the price is very low. I believe the price will rise again very soon.

It's a huge correction since the bull market multiplied the prices a lot in the recent year. It is normal for such correction since a lot of investors invested in crypto last year just because of the bull run and some went out the market once the price started declining.

There have been many reports regarding big purchases of smart money and institutional investors buying over the counter on a discounted price. That could be the reason why the trading volume has been low these past few months. Gox haunted us too since the start of 2018 but they have stopped selling now. Q4 is the target for market recovery, it is shopping time now if you want to gain profit for long term.

Bitcoin obtain some value from last week but I can see bitcoin will continue stable until it reach another momentum.

Nothing really noteworthy is happening in the market, we come from a crash and everyone is still trying to figure out what this means for the market of cryptocurrencies in the long term, many people lost their faith and are now out of the market while people like us still remain here and the only thing we can do now is to wait for the time when the price recovers again.

There are many news which are effecting badly the crypto market. But in my opinion, this is a natural situation and I believe that the price of bitcoin can rise rapidly in a near future.

First thing to do is to stay calm, coins aren't dropping "rapidly." The entire market is simply in a bearish correction state which is part of every market whether crypto or traditional stock. All you need to do to profit is to either hold and be patient, or better yet, buy the dip and invest in coins now while everything is sold at a discount.

this is one of cryptocurrency risk, no one can predict the future price or some whales making this price low to make panic sell for weakhand holders. the volatility of cryptocurrency can make someone get rich instantly or even broke suddenly, i really suggest for long term hold if we face such a situation. cutting your loss is not the way out to minimize the risk

  Correction is not endless but no one can tell nor predict the right time, speculation pour in every perception but still in the benefits of a doubt, the best asset we must possess is to keep calm and be patient for the correction to end.

It is amazing how the coins are fallen, even the mothercoin is still dipping. We hope to see the green season return as soon as possible.

This is pretty much what is happening because of low volume-few people open short/long position with x50 leverage on bitmex with for example 500 btc,then that same group of people buy/sell 1-3k btc on bitfinex for example pushing the price up/down where they need it to go(ussualy arround 200-300$ in one dirrection)Even as they are losing money trading on bitfinex x50 leverage on bittmex is making them more $ then they are spending.You can check all of this on charts where you can see 1-3k btc orders are filled in seconds without any reason even when TA is signaling otherwise

Being patient is key in any market not only in this one, after all it has been proven many times that those that hold for longer periods of time get more profits that those that do not, I would think that after reading such a piece of data most people will prefer to hold for the long term since it requires less effort but I see the opposite, now I see more and more traders trying to beat the market instead of holders.

I think this is as a result of price manipulation because the big whales are cashing out an waiting for the price to be very low before they invest again and another reason is due to some investors that are selling because they panic.

Nothing to do much in case you are panicking and thinking to sell off your stuff. But if you are looking t accumulate and get more coins at this cheap price then it is the moment to grab some of good coin at lower price and save for future.

Yes this is temporary we might see the increase before the year ends. Crypto market has the volatility so we should expect the rise and fall of crypto.

I really do not think the whales are doing much to keep the price down, that will need they sell their coins and do you really believe whales are really selling at the current prices? Right now they are accumulating bitcoin and they are doing it in such a way to not make the prices go to up since they want to have these cheap prices for as long as possible.

Due many negative news spread about cryptocurrency the price decreasing continusouly. But this downtrend is normally happens in the market. Dont get panic about current price surely in the upcoming month the price will increase. Dont sell your coins just hold them for some more time. After june we expect the growth in the market. What now? As for me, I can wait forever just like a song. We can see that the market is tremendously low. And,because of that many members or even investors are in panic selling.
