The above listed methods are still good in growing one's altcoins, but i will like to explain some of those points.
Investments is like a circular - one who buys an ICO has just invested, another who trades, has also invested and if you decide to hold, it is another form of investment. You just have to be wise on whatever decision you decide to make. Just learn to hold the good one and those with high prospects. Also buy ICOs with care. Make all the necessary findings before buying any.

I think the best way to increase your altcoins is to trade. It seems to me that this is the fastest and easiest way, of course, if you know how to trade. You can also just hodl them but this way doesn't always give you profit.

The best way for you depends on your own ability to be frank. Some are good at trading, some really suck at it. For me, I invest in POS coins/tokens and hodl. I'm not really good at day trading.

You've listed already what I thought. Investing in ICO is good in altcoin, it can make you profitable once the ICO is successful but of course, try to look at the ICO which can be a successful one. Trading altcoins is good also specially, if the altcoins you've bought are in its lowest price then pump it soon. For sure, you can be also gain a lot of money.
There are specific method when we will invest in altcoin but be sure that we must first know the token that we will put our capital in order for us not to regret when it is totally dump.

Go with a strategic trade on your own.Study the market very carefully and sell your coin when prices are above prices you used in investing. When you come a cross coins which you think are very good, don't waste too much time, buy them quickly and keep them.

You have posted the main methods yourself but now a days staking and masternodes are also in, personally i do not like or recommend that method because you need to invest big amounts and then some technical procedure as well, i think in crypto world we should remain as liquid as possible and should not be bound or fixed for a long time by anything.

If you in invest in some ico out there you should investigate more of it because it may turn out to be scam, once you've invest in some legit ico, you will surely gain a profit in it.

If you're afraid to invest in ico then watch out for it yo be listed in any exchange then buy from those weak hands who were dumping their best bounty coins in very first week of the exchange. Once that dump's over, then the price will go up for as long as that coin is very promising.

Just hodl to it for about a year or two and you'll be surprise to see its value increases more than its ico price.

I think the fastest way is trading cause you can increase amount of your alts everyday by daytrading but it's not easy of course :)). Investing in ICO project is also a good way and also not a safe way but you can't earn everyday cause an ICO project often run for really long time so you need to wait for months after token of ICO project listed on exchange :).

Best method is to hold it and wait for increasing value. It gives you healthy profit. And good knowledge also.

Of course the best method is to really buy more altcoins. But if your question is how to get much profit from it, then all the above you posted has that potential. As to what is the best methods no one can really tell you that because everything involves risk. Its how to manage that risk so that you will get to your goal.

* Others just prefer to hold and doesn't want to trade because they are not good at that.

* Others wanted to invest on ICO and wait for it to explode, but a lot of scammy ICO's right now so you have to do your homework and research.

* Others want to do trade because they have the experienced to back it up, but you don't want to be greedy because at the end of the day, you might lose everything. So it's really up to you pal, what's fits your goal.

Invest in ICOs, trade or participate in bounties to get diverse altcoins. Holding an alt don't increase your portfolio innumber of Alts you have. The two best ways is either you take part in different ICO or you participate in bounties or airdrops to have as much altcoins as you can. I do t advise airdrop though.

For me the method I use to grow my altcoin is my joining some good airdrops and some good bounties, I am not into trading and I have stop investing in ico since the bear market started, so i am into bounty currently.

I use the two mentioned method above to grow my altcoins, I invest in ICO but i only invest in a very strong ICO, also I do trading but i am into day trading I do short term trading.

Do you mean growing our investment & assets? Most of the time i do almost all of them. I hold some coins and tokens, i also do trading in a short-term, just aim to have atleast 1% - 10%. When the price of coin/token that i hold are decreasing, i always do averaging, buying on the lower price.

This depends on the period you want to hold for, personally trading looks more profiting but could be risky so you need to be cautious and not been too greedy and always apply a stop loss to avoid more % loss

for now the method that I use is trying to do weekly trading and the rest I try my luck to buy ieo tokens and to buy tokens ieo is not always successful, sometimes I can get stuck buying tokens ieo, but the token does not have a large enough hype and results in the token not too developed even the price could drop

I believe that the alts can be increased by different method which whoever haoldig it believe it works for him, I see btc as a major market driving coin and converting to it is more better when alts dump in other to buy back and have more token which I believe to be swapping method but can also have some permanent hold in case of future.

Holding does not diversify ones portfolio but holding a good coin only increases ones profit as the price rises. Trading several coins increases one's altcoins in terms of diversity and profit. Investing in ICOs or IEOs are also a good choice to diversify ones portfolio but this must be done after performing an extensive research into the projects.

if I choose investment in ICO. because I think that's where the place won't make us debt. with investment in ICO the biggest risk is that funds are taken away by the team or sales do not meet the target. therefore we need to anticipate it by choosing the best ICO program. by seeing where the direction and purpose of the ICO program is, then seeing the team from the program whether they are serious or just want to make an ICO scam.

In my opinion , trading is the best way to increase your holdings. But again trading is not for everyone , it needs lots of concentration and free mind unless you are trading with bots.

There is no better way to increase your altcoins than by buying more. That is not included in your list apparently. Investing in ICO is a bit obsolete and very risky. I would not recommend it. Trading is the next best way to increase your altcoins. But it needs a lot of preparation. Nevertheless, it is always worth learning. There is so much money in trading provided your skills will grow to an expert level. HODL is only applicable if we talk of the very few solid altcoins.

The outlined ways are very good, the best way to increase my AltCoin will be buying more as it keeps dropping in value by so doing, you increase your altcoin. Also another way you could acquire token would be through bounty and airdrop.

right now I am doing both ways as you have mentioned, trading and holding long term. to get a quick profit I trade daily in the market binance and certainly every day I get a real profit there, besides that I hold a few coins for the long term or at least until I see there is a good opportunity to throw away.

Speaking of growing altcoins, has anyone here tried any of those earn interest programs? I know I hate the idea of banks but now I see some even offering >10% annually on crypto and some look legit with investments from known funds. It feels tempting, to know even if prices fall 10% you even it out with interest.

Crypto investing is a good option. But you need to choose a good project to invest. Unless you will lose your investment. But it also not a fast method to gain income. you have wait until it raises its price. Same story in Holding crypto. There is a whole different story in trading. If you have enough skills you can gain profits fast than all other methods. But the most important thing here is the skills.

Waiting for bitcoin pumps to get cheap altcoins in alt/btc pairs when they get dumped. Then, wait some weeks to see bitcoin get dumped and altcoins rise in alt/btc pairs to take profits (in btc pairs), then get more bitcoin in total. After that, repeatedly do those steps for rounds in order to increase your altcoins and bitcoin in total. It is not easy, actually, because it requires good control on your emotion and requires patience.

If you going to do invest in ICOs, trade, hold or other the first thing is, you have to choose the correct one to do that. Because there are so many scam projects with ICOs. If you are going to trade, you need to choose a good coin with decent volume. If you are going to hold a coin, you have to find about that project's future updates, team etc. The own research is the important thing to before you do anything.

This actually depends on how much you know about the market and how much free time you have. If you are know the market and have free time, I think daily trading is the best profit making method. You can make a good profit with daily buy-sell. But if you say I don't have that much free time, then identifyl the coins / tokens which you think its will be rise in the future. And keep holding by investing in these coins.

My method is to work for it as I don't have enough fiat to buy them. That is how I grow my altcoins.

I think at the moment, trading and invest in ico is the best way to increase your altcoins.  Trading helps you make money faster but the risk is also huge.  while invest in ico will be a bit safer, but the time will be long and we cannot be sure that when ico's token trading platform will increase or decrease.  good luck

Maybe i will choose trading, Becaue if we hold our altcoins for a long time we dont know if this be going increase the price or not. Ill experience holding some altcoins right now one of them are becoming a shitcoins. So must better doing trading because we can earn enough profit and we change some different altcoins to trade again,but trading it was to risky to doing that.

for now it seems better to invest the IEO in a large exchange and have a good reputation the possibility of scam less and you try to research the programs that will be run they have real products, teams with their respective expertise, have a clear roadmap.  if you have expertise in short-term trading it is better to do it will be very profitable

The HYPE is real and big banking institutions want to take advantage of a crypto bull market. Even crypto markets stay below the $500bln, one uptrend will clear the negatives bias on equilibrium, it will be enough to make a substantial return on the investment with other people's money. Legalization side is not a big deal for big financial institutions but it will take time to get approved by high governmental circles.

I used to trade actively at first but this time around, things are not going well for me.  I keep losing hard so I do not trade any longer. I have change my mind to holding with the hope that the price we move high one day.

I think best method seems to be masternoding or staking. If you have a currency that can give you return for just holding its only natural that their price will go up in the future.

You forgot to mentioned bounty hunting, it's one of the best ways to increase your altcoins for free and I'm doing that, but you'll have to wait for several months before you received your altcoins and wait for it to get into the market to get value, you can choose to trade it to a more profitable coins in the market.

My methods of growing my own altcoins bag make sure to hold at least a few months before selling it. This saves me a few close calls when my bag dip very low and only bound back at later.

Friendly speaking, l find your statement very beneficial and they are very desirable questions for me. Firstly it depends on everyone's self wanting. Someone prefers to trade, Someone prefers to invest in ICO. In my view, the best way, when the price is down, buy it and keep holding. It is a simple way.

the best thing is to hodl it and learn when to sell it. Because you cannot profit if you do not sell. Also, you can do bounty and airdrops at the same time in your spare time in able to accumulate as many as you can for free.

Method:
- Buy at dips with more than 20 percent drops; then sell higher to get more btc in total compared to original btc.
- Wait for other dips to repeat those steps; then enrich your total btc.
- Buy altcoins back at later dips.
Repeatedly do this with patience, you will increase your altcoins.

Hodl is the best strategy imho, but the main thing here is not to miss all the project's news and updates. You can't just buy tokens and wait for the moon just because you are more likely to reach the bottom this way :)

 investing in a promising ico is more rewarding than others,  hodl is only more profitable in a bull season, as for trading,  it depends on how good you are in technical and fundamental analysis.

My best option of improving my portfolio not just altcoins will be trading. Mehnnn, those traders who know their way around altcoins are making huge in the space notwithstanding the market conditions. I have tried out trading a few times and honestly was really impressed on the profit I made. Losses will surely emerge but managing it is the main deal in trading.

Now that's the hardest part, determining what coins to buy. We don't know which coins will increase in price and which coins will go down in price. All of these are good, but Bounty hunting is free and rewarding although there is risk attached to it, like managers refusing to distribute tokens allocated for Bounty hunters, locking bounty hunters stakes until investors and team dumped theirs but for me is still the best to grow your altcoins.

yup. apart this, my personal strategy is to hodl until tokens burn. burning strategy the one of easiest way to make profit even with shitcoins, cause it has a positive effect on the price in most cases
last month i made almost 350% on TAN token, their strategy is to burn tokens monthly, the total amount is equal to 90% of the initial emission.

I think trading would still be the best way to double or increase ones coins, because the more you trade successfully, the more you also acquire more coins, holding may give you more fiat but will never increase the number of your token, except maybe you were lucky to sell when the coin is high, and then buy again when it is deep, by doing so, you are also already increasing the number of your coin.

Trading is sure number one, but not many people know how to trade whether long or short, even the long term trade, what many investors do is just to withdraw the token into fiat and them make use of it without tying of buying the token back soon, by the time they decide to buy back, because they had spent the fiat already, they still end up buying little altcoins more which has not made the altcoins grow.

The best method to increase your altcoin holdings is by batch trading, monitor bitcoin movements and you sell your altcoins before the bear and buy back during the bear before the pump. Rinse and repeat this method severally and watch your portfolio  grow

To me trading is the best method to invest, I cam also invest few money in ICO but for holding can't increase your altcoins as the alts is just there in your wallet and no addition to it but with trade you have enough

The biggest factor is the electricity cost, when the electricity cost is high, it's hard for the miners to last it's business, equipment is just the second basis but in overall, it's the profitability. As what I've noticed, there are miners who are selling their rigs because it's not feasible anymore to continue and they realize that only the big miners will survive in the business at this time.

A good way is to study and analyze a project, buy promising tokens on the exchange, for example, on Forkdelta.  There they are sometimes sold very cheaply, using this option several times, I got a good profit.  Also an excellent solution is trading on the stock exchange.  One token is traded on the exchange paired with BTC.  My personal example, placed orders to buy and sell every day and as a result doubled my deposit in five days of trading.  Holding in the long run is also a good option if the project develops and has great potential.  Everywhere you need a thoughtful and carefully weighted approach, and then you will get a good profit.

4) Masternodes - Better alternative to staking, since it yields a higher percentage (most of the time). Most masternode projects are trash, so you gotta pick a real winner to be profitable.

Buy low, sell high, convert to USDT or other stable coins, buy low again, repeat.  That's just the way I roll.  But for a few altcoins with great potentials,i hold for the long term. Sometimes holding is profitable but this doesn't increase your altcoins in anyway, just the worth, although sometimes holding is not beneficial.

It is not true, on the contrary the most part of altcoins (I mean not reliable) will become trash therefore make up your portfolio by reliable and valuable altcoins not to be a pity later.

I think the best way to increase Alt is to buy low and sell as soon as it is priced. You should research carefully that Alt before buying and should invest short-term. Do not be greedy for a long time, you can lose it all.

I growing my altcoin by staking with Binance exchange market, I check with staking coin have stable price and give higher reward staking each month because  I need get much profit to grow up my altcoin, with staking altcoin but have lower price each month is not recommendation to grow up my coin and better choose other altcoin kind for investing and buying ICOs.

the method that I often use to grow my altcoin is trading ... because trading can give me a lot of profit ... but it all requires patience to run it ... because we need the right time to buy and sell altcoins ... if it's wrong then we can loss ... so we have to really pay attention to the movements and growth of the altcoin that we are trading so that it can give us greater profits ..

Trading is really the way to increase our altcoins but it is also not the only way to increase because there are many other ways to increase our altcoins. One of it is that to participate in airdrop and bounty campaigns but in that we have to choose only the best projects as if we will waste our time on useless projects then we will not get any profit of our time.

i am accumulating ALT COINS since January 2018 through Airdrops and little bit of trading.Although i have lost a lot in trading .I think trading is not my piece of cake now i am part time bounty hunter and stopped chasing every airdrop that pops out from the community. Most of the time I trade and sometimes I buy Altcoins in order to have them.

all of them can work. but depends on the altcoin. you have to understand the trend of the coin and understand if it is time to hold or it is time to trade and increase the quantity. BUt they mostly required so much time and experience. i prefer to hold only.

ICO projects now a days failed due to many reasons,Major reason is scammers.Scammers can destroy the ICO project if the team will be non professional behind the project.Trading is best way to grow portfolio of altcoins but proper education is necessary for winning trades.

Staking is now best way to grow altcoins,Need to just hold coins and get monthly return.I think staking is best because its risk free and capital is safe.

My best method that works for me may not work for you. However, I use the trading method, in as much as the aim is to increase my holdings.
