I am looking to secure a 16BTC loan. I will pay the majority, if not all of the loan back within 60 days. I fully intend of having it paid back in 30 or less, but I'd like to give myself the cushion.

I've done thousands of dollars worth of transactions here, all positive. I am willing to negotiate terms for both parties to feel safe.

after speaking with cyclops, i've decided to split the loan in to (2) 8btc loans.

I will be putting up $1000 worth of silver as collateral.

Are there any trusted members lurking that would be interested in holding the silver in escrow?

expected repayment is 30-60 days. I'm confident it can be within the first 30 though.

Um.  If you're so confident that you can pay back in the first 30 days, why make the minimum time 30 days, maximum 60?

because I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'm a big fan of the ol' under-promise over-deliver.

You pay shipping in both directions.

If you default, I sell ALL the silver at a local "Cash for silver and gold" brick&mortar store for USD. Use the USD to purchase bitcoins at straight MtGox rate, send the remaining principal balance owed to an address supplied by the lender, and any excess BTC to an address supplied by the borrower.

I see, you are trustworthy lets see if lolwut agrees, but if possible lolwut could I get a higher Interest? As Im getting a big chunk of my funds frozen.
