There is already a lot of material available on this tooic online plus nowadays there are many ico mentors/gurus who rate and analyse the icos based on different factors, so in the presence of such things who will read this book, i still wish you best of luck with your project.

The ICO market is in a hard situation now. The peice of ETH is dropping. I think this is a good way to help new investors avoid ICO scams. I will join in and share my experience on ICOs.

I believe cryptocurrencies are going to do well in future and we may need to stop panicking in other not to regret in future. Bitcoin the head of all the coins was less than a dollars some years back but it is in thousands now and I believe those new coins and altcoins are going to do well in future.

There are quite a lot of ICO tracking and guide sites already (some probably with the same name).

How do you plan to stand out from them? Any unique differences?

While there may be many other ICO guide sites, we don't think there are any resources available that compile all the info in one convenient location sufficiently for someone else trying to follow the steps to launch.

The main idea is to create a database of services, bounty hunters and so on.

Great initiative and opportunity for knowledge, intentions are simple and direct to all levels of experiences, this can be used in different ways for several purposes. We're going to finish our White Paper task this week, so Alex will have more time for the ICO Guide.

ICO scammers now were easily detected since there are plenty of users now who reports it, and investors were smart enough now to at least check the projects info and liability. We should do our own research in every activity that we were doing since there are still scammers that can victimize us, always be updated and tries to ask them or contact teams for details.

A good idea, I wonder what will come of this!) With such a huge number of projects Ico I think it will be hard to navigate.

why indeed there are also bounty that failed this sa'at or payment is very long ,, if there is no pemjelasannya indeed panicked but if explained from first to end would be safe. :)

What are the plans of the book? I understand the content, but who will be writing it? Will it be released for free under some sort of licence? Who will publish it? One does not just release a book like a fart  ;D It is a very old proffession, and there is alot of laws protecting book makers.

It will be some sort of an ICO wiki. We're going to prepare the basis of it and anyone can improve the text. Free for everyone. It's going to be only online, we won't publish it offline.

good idea, lots of newbies struggle with the ico. there are a lot of different ways to sell at ico also so you will have to cover them all.

Dont need to panic only if ICO very perspective and strong devs and team , but its only 1% of that , every of them just talk about future and project but nothing happen .

Even a strong dev team may need good advice and help. Most of them have no ICO experience.

Now there is a lot of scam recently, so you need to check the ICO in which you participate. I think that ICO is too unreliable now.

We believe when ICO economy gets mature we'll see some kind of standards.

Now ICO is completely different from the past ICO. Most ICOs are now almost money-making tools. They copy code, copy white papers, copy everything, making money is very simple.

I think OP should be active to promote this ebook. I hope soon this book will release and become the true guidance for ICO project.

Like we mentioned earlier, we're going to write after our WhitePaper completion. But there not much interest from the community side, seems it's not something community need.

I appreciate this thread, very useful. now almost 60% -70% of ICOs are a scam or many projects are failing. here we can find information about projects that have good prospects. especially for new beginners who want to start investing in ICO.

Investing in ICO is actually a very risky thing to do honestly as long as you are not a very sound investor who would know how to filter out a good ICO and at least use that one to minimize the risk to some pretty good extent and as long as you can do this, it is actually worth it most of the time.

Nevertheless, holding bitcoin and ETH or any other good potential coin is already an investment and considering how the BTC and ETH market has been doing though, the any holder should be fine in the long run rather than struggling with ICO. Instead of trying to contribute in ICO, I do try to hunt the bounties because of I am ready to spend my time and efforts rather than my hard earned money.
