Title: BTC market bears/bulls explanation
Post by: Stillion on March 13, 2018, 09:50:58 AM
Hello, I am starting with BTC trading, made some positive trades last months but the more I am trying to understand BTC market, the more I am confused. Maybe someone can help me to explain some, for me, not very logical things. For example, market is growing. From 7200 EUR to 8020 EUR, straight line up, and then suddenly someone starts to offer his BTC for 7850 EUR. Why? Why for 7850 if he can sell it for higher value, over 8000. I am using bitcoin.de as trading place and very often I see that this adding of lower vales is somehow organized. One or two persons are putting intensively lower and lower values in small amount of BTC. Did they risk on short position and trying to change market from bull to bear? But bitcoin.de is just one of many trading place, can this strategy help them globaly? This is what I do not understand, why suddenly market change and the price starts to fall. No bad news, no panic, just suddenly some traders start to put lower values and market change.

If you know really nothing about trading then you should learn it, starting from basics, then going to some guidance on medias and youtube

the market moves because these someones are buying and selling their coins. in other words at any time in the market there are some people who are selling and some who are buying

Quote
Why for 7850 if he can sell it for higher value, over 8000.
why for 8000 and not 8500?
why for 8500 and not 9000?
you can go for eternity!

in any case when you are trading you want to get in and out based on your speculation. someone who is selling his coins at 7850 speculated that price is not going higher than that. and he is selling that amount to someone else who speculated that price is going a lot higher than 7850.
there is no right or wrong here though even if price goes up or down. it is all trades and can give you profit if you made the right decision.

It is very difficult to predict the current market and this is trading there is a profit and there is a loss. I think they do not change the market and they only sell at the price they want.

Sell at a lower price of 7850, look at the buy order there might be the holder wants to sell directly so he set the price is low, and the matter of changing the bull to bears it's can be done if they hold the coin in bulk and for the exchanger it depends from the flow of transactions in the exchanger.

When you doing day trading of BTC that will be unpredictable and hard to predict where the price to go, in my opinion BTC more easy to trade it by swing trading. Volatilty of Bitcoin is high and this is will be possible to make profit in 5 to 10 times in 1 years, but you have to understand about the price action and which level become support and resistance.
