No, I believe that is a bounty. Airdrop is just something you fill our a form and you usually get some crap token or coin (usually token) and you try making something from nothing. Most airdrops are useless and are created so the dev can quickly scam a bunch of people. Not worth it, don't bother.

Airdrop is a free distribution of tokens. For example some ICO wants to get more popularity and more members of it's community. How do they scam? You give them nothing except an email and public address - which you can create both specifically for airdrops.

If I never participated in the airdrop airdrop of token because it used to be I'd ever be able to up to now have not been able in exchanged. therefore I've never participated in the airdrop project.

If you're looking for airdrops. The best way is to find it is by joining social media groups like twitter and Facebook wherein each of you should share news feeds about airdrops.

-ERC20 Wallet (I am using Metamask)
-Telegram channel of airdrop groups and a telegram account or make one for yourself to give referral code
-Occasionally they will want you to follow their ICO on various social media like twitter or facebook

I think that now is not the best time to consider airdrops, more and more of them just inflated promotions that do not offer anything but unknown coins and collect you real data, if you are looking for easy money, it is better to consider airdrops that carry out projects with open ICO and bounty.

Any associated activity like join telegram channel etc is also termed as airdrop but that is more like bounty task.

Basically, airdropsare free tokens that some project give to people.
I cant trust this kind of projects but i can consider it as scam since i can really earn tokens from them.
I am joining airdrops and i can earn tokens but it has no value yet.
I dont know if this is a good thing or not.
Who knows? I just want to earn free tokens from just joining and filling up some forms.

Airdrop a campaign offering a reward for just simple signing up in there website and doing a little task, like joining telegram group and etc.  Airdrop is good because you are able to earn money for doing nothing but be careful because there are some airdrop are scam so, be careful to choose airdrop campaign.

For me airdrops are free money given by company. Sometimes you need to something for them to earn free tokens. Beware, some airdrops don't pay and you will just waste your time with it. You are lucky if some pays but you you need to wait for an exchange to sell your tokens. They won't pay you in btc or eth. They will pay you by erc20 token of theirs.

Airdrops are promotial tokens that projects divide among airdrop participants.
You can see it as building up a communty that does some social advertisements in return they get tokens airdropped.

You can sign up for airdrops trough alot of websites and on twitter/ bitcointalk etc.

1 more thing, this is very important : DONT EVER PERFORM KYC FOR A AIRDROP! NEVER!! Its not worth it!!

I just want to remind everyone that's into airdrops that be careful of the airdrop you are joining. Many of them aren't true to what they say and likely to scam people, don't give them ETH/BTC if they are asking you to send them.

Yes, The airdrops are the free token give away from the ico projects for the purpose of famous those projects among peoples.  Most of the airdrops you can earn simply by filling a form. But these days more airdrops are scams. so if you apply for those be careful.

Even just with your own common sense you can able to find out that a project is fraud when they do ask out such matter. Airdrop is free and theres no such requirement for you to get those tokens.


Simple instructions which can anyone follow but the fact airdrops nowadays do even require sending funds and KYC procedure which is a total bullshit.

There are tons of scams there but sometimes we will still see people that are complaining about them though we've warned and reminded them about it.

Airdrops have a place to be, if only you have followers (at least 1 person who will be following you on your ref.). In other cases it will be sad (I say from my own experience)
Here's an example: You made 100 drops, out of 10 you got coins, and out of 5 (at best) out of 5 they passed the listing, then 1-2 of them in general will cost 3-10 $. The rest up to $ 1.
