As some of you probably know, I am the co-founder and main dev of WebMinePool (https://webminepool.com) and FaucetCMS (http://deep64.com). I have a bit more I would like to share with you.

Quick disclaimer: this looks like a script, however, the main goal is to show the true potential of our platform and its API (https://webminepool.com/page/http-api).

We have just started accepting CMD miners - it is now fully available for publishers. The script allows for publishers to attract miners and get a percentage of earnings from their total hashes. This is similar to a mining faucet, but people can instead mine with their CPUs and GPUs directly allowing for a substantially higher hashrate. More hashes = more earnings for your users = more earnings for you. It is multiple steps above traditional browser mining. Everyone is happy!

The base script has limited features, but it is fully open-source. As previously stated, the main goal is to give an idea of how much is possible with our API (https://webminepool.com/page/http-api). It also does not need a database to operate. Use it as bootstrap to build something incredible! The script is secure but be careful of attackers who send fake hashes in order to steal btc from you. Enable manual withdrawals so you can review them to combat this. A how-to installation of the script is included.

how to use CPU MINER ?

Download miner, download config, move config to the miner folder, run miner. That's all.

i tried this script and someon stolen all my btx :(

Same thing happened to me, installed the script on my server, and it survived a full 3 hours before somebody emptied my wallet ;D live and learn.

Yeah, guys. This is my bad. Got the same. Just relelased security update. This is was because json.config was was available for viewing from user's perspective. Very stupid mistake from me as an experienced dev...

How much did you lose? Not sure, but maybe I can cover your loss.

Now your api keys are secured. (need to redownload and change .htaccess file).

P.S. Also, did you change default admin/pass?

I changed default admin and pass, but for the moment i took down the entire admin page from the server because i tried to access it from another device and it opened with full administrator rights. Hovering over the pay and delete buttons in the user list, the URL exposed admin name and password.
I only lost 5500 sat, it's nothing, i did not want to hold any serious amount in the wallet while i familiarized myself with the script, so the thief got just spare change.

Guys, who lost anything. Mex did huge help with this hacker, so, please PM me and I'll get your money back to you.

How come persuade our faucet users that downloading these miners make them more profit then mining on browser ?

So many are noobs and they don't know anything , while browser miner looks easy for them. Click and start that's it.

I guess better you fix browser miner too as that makes faucet more versatile then mining with CMD miners

Have no idea bro, simlified this as max as possible. No configuration needed, just download and start file, but they are even not downloading.

What do you mean "fix browser miner"? If you are talking about GPU mining through browser, it's currently impossible. But I hope we can invent something.
