Post by: Kris on July 24, 2011, 06:18:07 AM
Hi guys & girls?,

So far I need these languages.

Dansk (Danish) - Done by Kris
Deutsch (German) - Done by elements - UPDATE NEEDED
Français (French) - Not Done palsecam working on it  - UPDATE NEEDED
Italiano (Italian) - Done by ercolinux - UPDATE NEEDED
Pyccкий (Russian) - Done by Viera - UPDATE NEEDED
Español (Spanish) - Not Done - fabianhjr working on it - UPDATE NEEDED

Is this anything you can help me with?, I am willing to pay 1 - 2 bitcoins for one language transaction via WalletBit, if you wish to be paid.

It's quite a bit of text there, about 1450~1500 words or so, usual rates for that would be more than 10 BTC. While I'd be happy to offer a large discount to support bitcoin efforts, I can't justify the time for 1~2BTC since Chinese's a PITA to type but if nobody is able to or willing to help, you can drop me a PM as a last resort.

Thanks, if all else fails I will, but yes it is around 183 lines that needs to be translated.

Kind regards
Kris

WalletBit is really a nice idea. If you could accept SEPA transfers (it can be done only using a Euro as currency, but I've found that  is usable to make transfer to Denmark, as lon as the amount is Euro ) it would be fantastic (no fees or cost in transaction for that  for the whole eurozone), otherwise 105DKK is around 14€: that make bank deposit not much usable.

I'll see what I can do about SEPA transfers.

You should change "Language" to "English" as if you change to another language, only "Language" changes it back to "English".

I suggest you add also

- Polish (has a pretty strong community in BTC)

- Dutch

- Japanese

and for idealistic reasons Esperanto ;)

Awesome that Italian and Portuguese are ready too!

Uploaded all the languages, and the site looks awesome!

Also made so you can give your WalletBit bitcoin addresses an alias, so that you can keep track of your payments.

The site looks great and with this many languages it really can attract many people.

I would like to propose to all the translators to open a subthread in their own language asking native speaking people of their language to check the site and give feedback to the translators so they can in turn hand in improvements to Kris (phase 1 this week for the most important improvements and phase II over time - like within the next two months or so).

This idea is to make the translations really work so that natives feel at home there.

I will start my German thread tomorrow and encourage all other translators to do so as well.

Go and check out walletbit.com in your language ;)

My Portuguese translation is finished :)

It seems a very amateur translation. It's supposed to be a serious business, not a website targeted at 15 year old skiddies... Sorry.

@andrepcg & @Kris I'll review that translation if that's ok with both of you.
No payment needed.

@andrepcg P.S.: Não podes tratar as pessoas por tu e esperar ser levado a sério quando o que está em jogo é dinheiro e negócios. Fazes isso nos teus sites e fizeste o mesmo nesta tradução.
Desculpa falar-te assim, não me leves a mal.  :(

Well I have to trust in people making good translations and I do, though I do run it thru google translator, no offense intended.

Oh and psy, I send a message about Prestashop

Kind regards
Kris

Dear Kris, dear translators,

as promised I started a subthread in the German section to promote the site and to ask testers to look at the translation so that it can grow more native and more natural to the German users.

I'd love to see that for all the translations implemented.
Would be great if you participated, too.

Can I get you all to look over the localization file again?

I made quite a few updates.  Hope this will be included in the two Bitcoins I already paid, otherwise we have to discuss price again.

Kind regards
Kris

WalletBit fan and native Greek speaker here. Would you like me to translate the localization file to Greek for free? Of course if you want to pay I will accept that  ;D.

I really love your service and the Bitcoin community, so this is why I will do it for free. Would you accept a Greek translation?
