Title: Did you know that one Bitcoin is worth as much as 2,5 million Ripple?
Post by: joriscomparator on March 15, 2018, 07:25:30 PM
Hello fellow forum members,

Did you know that one Bitcoin is worth as much as 2,5 million Ripple? For me this was a huge eyeopener.
I am a Dutch student who has developed a spreadsheet to judge the prices of cryptocurrencies. The prices of 34 popular coins, with mainly a currency purpose, are compared with the value of reference coins as the Bitcoin and Ripple, taking into account the quantity of the coins. Also other important information as transactiondata, if available, and reviews are included.
If you’re interested just send an E-mail to this adres joriscomparator@gmail.com with just "request information" and you will receive a Wordfile with more information and a part of the spreadsheet. I ask a small fee of 0.001 BTC to receive the complete spreadsheet, an Excel 2007 file.

And who needs this nonsense?
And you know that for 600 dollars you can buy 1 Ether?  ;D

Useless information! Anyone can take and count!

Someone explained to me that there is more to it than simply calculate with the supply of the coins. So, i will take the spreadsheet off the market.

Coinmarketcap is enough to find any type of statistical data and price history of a coin. Don't know why you think that your spreadsheet will be quite useful and people will buy that from you paying some bitcoin, LOL

If you can than post link to part of your spreadsheet here, so that we can understand what you have actually done and what you are trying to solve here.

oh yeah? let me help open your eyes some more.
there are only 16.9 million bitcoin available while there are 39,091.7 million (39 billion) ripple available.
on top of that, bitcoin is actually used as a currency while XRP is a centralized token that nobody have ever used and will never use. I say ripple is extremely overpriced right now considering ;)

there isn't possibly any additional information which you can give which we can not simply find here https://coinmarketcap.com/

I'm not sure why that is so surprising to you because if you count DOGE coin then I'm sure the zeros will end before you can make a full count. Lolz. No I'm just kidding but I'm pretty sure with each and every coins USD value the preceding value in terms of equivalent bitcoin would be higher. This is just simple math and there is nothing surprising in that.

Also ripple is centralised coin and the amount of ripple that can be generated is unlimited so any amount of bitcoin you put in will be less for these bastards as they always manipulate the market of ripple and don't ever let the values go up. So it's worthless to think about such relationship of bitcoin and ripple.

Yep. I don't even get the point of wasting 0.001 for just a simple computation and plus the transaction fee.

To OP, with all the sarcastic replies you got, you should know by now that this is a stupid post.
