Simply bought with fiat and invested or gambled haha.

I've mined in the past back when it was actually viable, but nowadays I simply just buy and sell at various exchanges (usually due to arbitrage opportunities).

I have mined, not anymore for obvious reasons. Hope the price rises even more and then I will sell.

I tried to sell on BitMit as well, used games I own, but no sales.
If I upgrade computer this christmas as I plan, I might try sell these old parts  :)

It really depends on WHEN you do whatever. At the moment, low power ASIC and selling USBs to friends interested in starting is the most profitable for me, gambling is a close 2nd - turned 0.9 into 10 in a few hours - but it's gambling so results WILL vary and I do not condone it. I just got lucky with some disposable funds trying stuff out.

The lowest EFFORT profits are ASIC mining shares on Cex.io (https://cex.io/r/1/Zeek/0/) with disposable funds. No mess, no fuss. Started by 'giving it a go' and now loving it.

After initially funding with a P2P trade for bank transfer, I've made a bit from trading. I made a few coins selling the XRP from the Ripple giveaway, so that was sweet. Working on ways to make more...

i get a little bit by selling advertising space in my signature. otherwise, not too many coins coming in.  :-\

I earn Bitcoin trading BTC on exchanges. Im not pro so it is not easy, but in the long run I have small profit already

Ha, ha, this is how I got a big slug of mine - thanks!  I worked faucets for awhile too, but the payout now is so low.  The sad thing is that as the price of BTC rises, you get less and less from faucets and pay to click sites.  I understand why, but given transaction fees it can make things a bit rough on newbies.

Now that faucet payouts, video viewing, and pay to click payouts are so low, probably the most lucrative thing to do is sell your signature space.  Gambling sites seem especially willing to pay for that, just check over in the services topic.

I started from 0 mined many of the new alts and then sold them later. I have made around 2btc from a single gtx580 :D

You could always stop by the gambling subforum and pick up a few free bitcents here and there, then try and gamble it up into something more sizable. Chances are, you'll go broke, but it was free!  :D

Most Bitcoins I buyed. Only little I GPU mined. Considering the info here Im glad I didnt go for ASIC miners

Just mined some coins, while working on the same machine. Just some little bonus ...

Buy on BTC anomalies and sell when anomaly ends. May be compared to gambling as trade has huge swings.

Go trade on ripple. There is good opportunity to make profit currently by trading on spread for different currencies.

You need to have a ripple wallet. It is as easy to create as bitcoin wallet. You can have multiple wallets too. Unfortunately, the only reliable client currently is browser based client. It works fine though.
