Title: REWARD OFFERED! Help needed recovering Bitcoin wallet
Post by: jreister on March 16, 2018, 10:40:06 AM
Hello guys,

I have a old Ninki Wallet bitcoin wallet which I used back in septeber 2015 on my iPhone and left it there with the phone. I have a little bit over 4 Bitcoins on that account but sadly yesterday when I checked the old accounts it seems that the service shut down.

I tried to use the ninki-wallet tool from their github with all the proper data (offline key, online key, private key) but without success, it just seems to forever get stuck at Step 4 with the message "Checking for xxxxx address". Also I tried to analyze the background data the recovery application uses and it seems that when it runs these messages appear:

Code:
Failed to load https://api.chain.com/v1/bitcoin/addresses/3GXJPPyKrtd7EZFjj6PsZfD13Rq4VCRrzo: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'null' is therefore not allowed access. The response had HTTP status code 405.

For each and every single address it says it's checking this is happening. Therefore, anyone who thinks I can solve this or can recover it for me (trusted members, of course), I am willing to give 10% of the bitcoin amount on the wallet for this.

I know - DISCONTINUATION OF SERVICE from 31-Dec-2015

But look like the app still there:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ninki.wallet

Is it completely dead if you download?

I don't get any erros on my
Windows 10
Chrome
But of cause I don't have the right information so maybe it only work because of dummy data.

Download here ZIP file
https://github.com/Ninkip2p/ninki-recover

Unzip on Desktop
Open recover.html in Chrome (don't move it from the folder - just right click an open)

**

If you give up and want to trust me a try fell free to contact me. You can type the data on skype.

I believe that you have to move your Thread to the proper section, in order to get better attention and probably find a solution to your issue.
I don't know though which is it but if you read this, you will find it. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1628282.0

Good luck to you. 8)

The API the script uses is no longer public, this is the issue. I rewrote the recovery script with a new API, if anyone needs it contact me.

Don't deal with non-trusted members or low-rank member here in the forum there are many scammers out there if you deal with them you can lose your bitcoin and don't give any info that can help recover your wallet unless if they are trusted here on the forum. It's a big money so better to find someone trusted and a high-rank member that can actually help you.

Base on what I understand about the code it looks like it's an API request code and you have no access to the server and maybe the server is offline since the Nikki wallet was announced that they are closed in 2015.

Do you have any other backup like seed phrase?

If you don't have any backup of your wallet it might be hard to recover your wallet unless if you can still contact the developers of Nikki wallet.

Suppose to say the same thing where I do observe there are low ranks who do offer such help which its too really risky to entrust them since we are talking about 4 BTC on here.As far as I know Nikki wallet stopped already their service long time ago.Its normal that it show error since the server is offline same as crairezx20 said. The best option for now is on finding one of the developers and might able to help you out.Ive seen you had tried out the keys, seed of nikki wallet but you still failed.

There's many lapses for this problem since first he said that NIKKI wallet has long time close so no doubt that he cannot get his money since the wallet itself is offline now. But if he can track the developer of that wallet maybe he could help OP up to recover on what he stake for that wallet for long such a long time.

Did you already try to import your private key to another wallet for example mycelium?
