Dicenow.com is shutting down at the end of June. Please divest and withdraw all coins ASAP. Thank you for all your kind support and trust throughout these past 3 years. Good luck and may Bitcoin go To The Moon!

Hi, https://dicenow.com is a new bitcoin and litecoin gambling site that just launched! We are looking for players and investors.
Currently we are starting with a hi lo dice game. You can play with bitcoin or litecoin at 1%, 2%, and 3% house edge.
You can play for FREE now with 1000 freecoins. Give it a try now! https://dicenow.com

https://i.imgur.com/uQJJXUv.png

We have great features like an auto rabbit mode. This mode allows you to roll up to 10,000 rolls in one click.
Here you can see a classic martingale progression. You can easily play progression strategies with tiny amounts
like 1 satoshi. That is an easy 4500 satoshis per click.

https://i.imgur.com/fvvrdvX.jpg

We also have an official onsite bot that can run progression betting strategies one roll at a time.

https://i.imgur.com/MbXc0sF.png

Here you can see a 33% 'martingale'. The profit spikes up drastically on each win after a long string of losses.

https://i.imgur.com/fZUJdS6.png

The options are very complex, and you can customize the bet wager, chance, payout, or profit on each win/loss.
Here is a payout-gale, where on every loss you increase the payout (decrease chance) to cover your consecutive losses.
Try playing around with your 1000 freecoins to see what cool progressions you can create!

https://i.imgur.com/YkxzNFZ.jpg

Of course we are provably fair, and there is an offsite javascript verifier with roll generation code. http://jsfiddle.net/g6fP6/

https://i.imgur.com/vfLFM5L.jpg

You can watch all the exciting dice action in the all bets tab. Filter by userid or profit amount to see the bets you are interested in.

https://i.imgur.com/7wDnJDbh.jpg

Dicenow is very colorful. We feel that design is important in a dice site. There are 40 backgrounds to choose from so you don't get bored.

https://i.imgur.com/Or2AwaL.jpg

The chat feature includes multiple rooms, private messages, nickname notifications, and even desktop notifications (enabled in chrome).

https://i.imgur.com/IXpV9gK.jpg

You can easily transfer coin onsite from user to user without any fees or blockchain transaction.

https://i.imgur.com/LMKPgWz.jpg

We take precautions to secure the site, your account, and your coins. Two factor authentication is available for your use.
We use a cold wallet to store the majority of the coins offline.

https://i.imgur.com/8Bs0tVv.jpg

There is an emergency withdrawal address available. If you keep a large amount of coins onsite, please use it.
In the event of any emergency, all funds will be dispersed to their account emergency addresses.

https://i.imgur.com/0FzqqzF.jpg

We have multiple house edges available to provide more comfort and options to the investors bankrolling dicenow.
The higher the house edge, the higher the bankroll and max profit is. If your martingale hits the max profit limit,
just move up your edge and you can keep playing on the same server seed.

https://i.imgur.com/9aKvp18.png

There are stats like number of bets, wagered, and profit for each house.

https://i.imgur.com/iGkBmFG.jpg

You can watch the house profit in a realtime chart.

https://i.imgur.com/0p04pRz.jpg

If you are interested in bankrolling the site, it couldn't be easier to get started. Just go to the invest page and choose your options.
The simple invest is recommended, as it will split your investment evenly between 1%, 2%, and 3% edges.
There are 3 options for your risk level (kelly criterion): conservative (1/4 kelly), balanced (1/2 kelly), and growth (1% full kelly).

https://i.imgur.com/aMKCGb3.jpg

There is also a custom investment option, where you can select a specific house to bankroll, and a custom kelly criterion.
The kellys available are: 1/4, 1/2, 1, 2x, 3x, 5x, and 10x. The leveraged kellys are ONLY for reduction of counter party risk.
If you use leveraged kelly without having the proper amount of offsite coins, you are risking ruin if a whale wins repeated max profit bets.

https://i.imgur.com/UZjZ65Lh.jpg

A handy portfolio list of all your active investments and inactive divested investments is available.
You can easily see details on your profit, commission, and other figures.

Commission is collected once a day at UTC midnight. The commission is 10% of any profits you make.
Once collected, your investment remembers that high water mark, and you won't pay commissions if your investment
drops and then rises back to that level. High water mark is per investment only, not per account.
This gives a slight incentive to stay invested for the long term and let math work things out.

If you have any questions feel free to post them here, or find me on the onsite chatroom. My name is pitboss

Thanks for reading!

** WARNING **

DO NOT INVEST IN NEW CASINO'S LIKE THIS. THE OP HAS NO TRUST AND NOT MUCH TO LOSE.

But by all means, feel free to bet. OP I would advise getting rid of the invest option, you will make MORE profit. There is no need for this unless you have ulterior motives.

Best of luck!

Wow, this site looks slick. I wouldn't invest just yet, but wow, pretty colors.
EDIT: Stole the Just-Dice verifier. Literally only changed the title, it's the same code. Unprofessional right there.
So aparently right now the bank is 0 BTC, because the person that made this site is "A programmer, not a bitcoiner". The last place you should be putting your bitcoins is a place where the guy doesn't even have enough faith in what he's made to put his own money in. Also, choosing your house edge? Wtf? Who the hell is going to go here when you could go somewhere else with a less house edge? The whole place is sketchy, and doesn't even have any money to pay out a win right now.

Hey thanks for your advice. I don't think it is possible to match JD's bankroll without crowd sourcing the bankroll. Since I just launched, I would advise those with little trust in me to wait a while to see how it turns out.

Thanks Moo.

About the verifier, I thought it was open source since it was on jsfiddle. The provably fair roll generation is the same as JD, so the same code works. If whoever created it wants me to rewrite it, I can do so easily.

This seems like a pretty impressive site to me.

It has direct transfers to players which JD and primedice both lack.

It has investment (which primedice lacks) with a sliding scale which seems innovative but I doubt high rollers will trade higher house edges for larger limits, it seems like it should almost be reversed, e.g. lower edge with higher bets, but I guess the recent JD experience illustrates the problems with that.

I like the litecoin support.  Obviously, this is not a litecoin board, but I could see this being the best of the LTC "dice" sites - which is something.

Of course, as long as he has the faucet, I'm loyal to Stunna's primedice, but then, I am probably not the highroller gambler you are seeking to play at your site.

Overall, it looks great!  Good luck with it and I hope you build up some trust in the community.

edit: I don't mind the colors but I wish I could close some of the boxes that I am not interested in.

Not true. I don't think he will be making the same profit if he did not choose to use investment strategy.

dicenow will probably take over just-dice in time.

Interesting site design, but who would gamble at 2% or 3% edge?  Usually casinos give better odds to their users that gamble at higher limits.

You don't have to match JD's bankroll, and if you seriously think  you're going to get ANYWHERE CLOSE to $10m in investment like JD has, you're dreaming.

You are obviously one hell of a programmer as I really like what you are trying to do with this site.  However, you clearly are pretty undercapitalized when it comes to BTC based on the bankrolls displayed presently on your site.

I expect you'll get some investors, but until then it is going to be slow going.  And a giveaway/promotion (as you can see from the thread, many operators do them, hell I can't figure out how Stunna manages to do so many of them) is probably completely out of the question.

Good luck and while a bit risqué I like the backgrounds!

You might want to do some cross browser compatibility testing. Almost nothing works in Safari. Chrome seemed to work ok so far.

Whats the purpose of allowing the player to select different house edges?

It would be useful to add additional filtering functionality to the bet window.  For instance, I don't care about litecoin betting at all, and some may only care to see the 1% or 3% bets.

Additionally, a sanitized dump of all bets and outcomes or an api to pull that information would also be helpful.

If I've missed any of this functionality, please point me in the right direction.

I tried it in safari and everything works fine.
the bankrollers have options for different edges, so i have to extend that to the players somehow.
in general though if a player hits the max profit of a lower edge game, it allows them to move up to the next house edge and keep playing.

hey cwil i can add coin and house filters for the all bets tab. give me a few days
i'm trying to figure out how to expose the bets publically. not sure yet, will get back to you on that.

Safari on the ipad gets the loading animation for a small period of time and then immediately crashes the browser.

I'm loving the site, but I do have to agree with a number of others have mentioned.  It's a little too busy for it's own good, but that won't stop me from investing/playing.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Note:  I was able to play for nearly two hours on Safari 6.0.5 without any major problems, though I do think there might be a problem with garbage collection or something because the browser did start to bog down when I let the Win/Loss graph to get over 1800 bets.

kasog has been bleeding the ltc houses for over 100 ltc in the past few days betting 99x an getting incredibly lucky

https://i.imgur.com/SpuInpK.png

however that luck came to an end today as he proceeded to lose 100 ltc thanks to several hundred losses in a row

https://i.imgur.com/EjWyLo1.png

he even had to switch to a higher house edge because he was hitting the max profit limit

https://i.imgur.com/2XOLDvN.png

but in the end he pulled it through with a single huge yolo bet sending every house's profit negative again  :o

Otoh, I guess you are one of the major investor on the LTC department :P right? The guy betting LTC crazily is my friend met in BTC-DICE (copycat dice in the perspective of Just Dice). He deposited plenty of LTC intended to be the house, with 2x kelly. But you know Chinese are all gamblers, so this happened.
I am really glad to have invested here with a decent leverage from the beginning and loot myself some coins (doubled in fact). Once i took >50% of the BTC1%. But with more and more investor coming in I am now down to 20%. Anyway, investing is just a gamble to your "opponents" that they will lose, and the odds of winning tends to our side.

Expect with the update soon with Chinese (our dearest pitboss knows Chinese) that we can take plenty of Chinese customer from the laggy and buggy BTC-DICE (I will be able to help review the translation) to DiceNow. I've also chat with pitboss that DiceNow is considering to have ad when they have finish the translation and improve some minor bits and kasog will be kind enough to help negotiate price of ads with btc123.com (a site for coin ticker, directory, charts etc)

Hope Dicenow all the best :)

Just in case you think I am talking too much, I am just a user, a user too active to ask pitboss everything. I am not his spokeman, just in case any confusion

That all sounds excellent news, yep I'm a fairly large backer as I thought that would be best for the site & for litecoin at the beginning, once it's more established I'd certainly like to try more gambling there too - but will just invest for now.

Congrats to your friend, I'm happy that he's playing & winning, again something that helps the site & ltc atm imo, even if he is looting from my investment stash right now.

Wow, 26,565 ltc wagered on ltc dice 1% yesterday alone, $62,700 on that edge alone, seems to be taking off since the site was translated in to Chinese.

someone divested 5k ltc from house 1% which was at 1x kelly
also another investor went from 1x kelly to 1/2 kelly with 5k ltc
along with some divestments the past few days, max profit is down ~100

Please do something for the way the site moves and feels. It looks good, but it is as having "low frame-rate". Not a good feeling, in terms of user interface and experience. Pehaps take away animations, or do something to make it move in a more smooth manner.

I think Dicenow too think that this is rather a draft for the UI. It is a far different level from "things work " and "seamless".

He is really open to new ideas. From the conversation of Dicenow chatroom. There will be a whole new experience of Dicenow about 2 months (it's a bit long, but for sure it is exciting. I've saw some draft work and model work from him, he knows code, learn fast)
__________-DIVIDER-____________

Hfleer:
Don't misunderstand, this is DiceNow's site. I've chat with him a lot since the development of this site. As I like how the owner do his thing, I show me appreciate by helping him on some aspects. Despite I guess I appear in thread more than him, but he is the owner. I am just leaking what he says to me to the public, aka unofficial spokeman (in a responsible manner that wouldn't have others to know what he is working on, prevent people to copy). Anyway, my scripting skills is poor :P

Status:
DiceNow got its first advertising campaign on test at MCXNOW, targeting LTC customer. This is a test to see how people reacts with advert. ATM, spread the awesomeness with your mouth before there are more ads are deployed or the new interface is up

To extend the reach and service to Chinese customers, Dicenow had managed to open up a group of QQ. Inviting every DiceNow-ers to join. Casual chat :) The QQ group number is 316312199. Have fun, enjoy!

Oh you are that guy...... I got quite some loss in my 1% house... Anyway, congratz on your winning. BTW some rumors that some trolling guy with "some publicity" is trying to threat Dicenow and demand for money previously. wish you luck in future. If you enjoy, be sure to spread a word on Dicenow. If you think the next guy will lose, try gamble by investing with leverage (like 5x or 10x), you get a positive expected value to play that! But I'm playing and investing there. Guess only time will tell. But so far, it seems he made a little effort creating a site from scratch, with new features, new interface. Use own judgement. Deposit such an amount that feels comfortable with you.

Well, with less money in the hot wallet, there would be less $ that could be compromised by a hacker, as a result reproducing the tragic Inputs.io drama. While the site owner is actively getting online and typically if not asleep or buried in his pile of code, he could fill up quite quickly if the hot wallet is empty and someone is doing a withdrawl.

i´m new to this kind of investing and have no idea if a 1/2 kelly is the way to go,
or some other fractional kelly. or even leveraged kellys seem to be possible.

would be really nice to have someone explain this to me or maybe you could
add it to the investment page as some kind of "frequently asked questions"

one kelly means you risk a maximum % of your investment equal to your edge, per roll
for example if you invest at 1 kelly in the 1% edge house, you risk max 1% of your investment per roll
if you invest at 10x kelly in the 3% edge house, you risk at most 30% of your investment per roll

these numbers only apply if the maximum profit bet is made
so for example if a whale betting at max profit wins in the 2nd scenario, you would lose 30% of your investment
if they lose, you would win 30% as profit

if it seems to confusing, just use the recommended 1/2 kelly. at most go up to 1 kelly, anything over is too volatile

Really nice looking site.  Would love and option to clear the roll log like the graph as it causes lag once you have 50k+ rolls recorded.  Maybe its just an issue with my version of jscript.  Adjusting how many it shows just seems to add pages but not decrease the lag.

p.s I accidentally hit the side button on my naga and increased my roll by 41 on loss instead of 4 :X  Thank god I didn't have the funds for more than 1 loss lol.

Hi I tried out your website.

I really like your autobetting system.

But, because the "session profits" section graphs every bet, the website does lag after a round of 10,000.

Can you make an option to turn the graph on and off?

I think that would be great!

Oh yeah, nice design of the site!

thanks for your kind words!
if you check the SIMPLE mode in the top right corner, the profit graph will be turned off. may help with the lag.
also you can clear the graph to delete all points. or just press refresh in your browser to start clean.

I had horrible luck for the last few times I tried your site :b

The house does win in the end...

However, I have a proposal

To promote your site, you should do a giveaway or make a referral program.

yes i agree. referral programs are needed in the gambling world. the problem is how to pay the incentives to referrals, seeing as how most profits are distributed to investors. i'm thinking on how to do this while still keeping the edge low and attractive to players.

While referrals are indeed a powerful tool in this business, I wonder how much traffic/volume is gambled via bots vs manual betting by a user in big sites.

Site is a scam. I've used it before and had a weird balance show up.

The site has been up for 8months which doesn't mean it will not shut down but it is safer than a 1month old website; apparently investors in the bitcoins roll have made a nice return so far; I still find it weird that there are 3 different casino edge

It is designed to be a system of handling multiple edged games (not only dice... but the remaining such as roulette in planned). Since some people would rather invest with more return, 3 % pool will suit them. While on the gambler side, since they wanna bet big and 1% pool might not have enough fund for them to bet against, 2% and 3% pool will be extra reserve for whales.

hope this explains well enough

Most the money is invested in the 1% pool so you can't bet more on the 2% or 3% pool than on the 1%'s

Some players may make the mistake to play the 2 or 3% dice games but I still don't see any benefit in that for them

Ok I understand, it makes sense now

Most the action is in the 1% betting pool though, more than 3times the volume in the 3% pool so your expected rate of return is higher on your money invested in the 1% bankroll

Also, when 3% mode is on for the bettor, the way that it uses the money is
if(wager<=(pool_3)){profit or loss of bet is shared by pool_3}
elseif(wager<=(pool_3+pool_2)){profit or loss of bet is shared by pool_3 first, and the remainder is shared by pool_2}
else{profit or loss of bet is shared by pool_3 and pool_2 first, and the remainder is shared by pool_1}

u r so smart bro :)

Hey thanks for your advice. I don't think it is possible to match JD's bankroll without crowd sourcing the bankroll. Since I just launched, I would advise those with little trust in me to wait a while to see how it turns out.

Once i get my money from btc-arbs back (i already considered the money lost anyway, so if i ever get it back it's a win-win) i'll invest a little of it in here to see if it's legit or not.

Just-Dice might not come back for a while so i'm looking for alternative options.

I will miss JD a lot.  However, their departure does give you a real opportunity, especially since you allow investment.  I think some things like the 1/2/3% pools may intimidate people, but at the same time, if they are baffled by something like that (which you do explain) you probably don't want them as investors on your site anyway.

Good Luck!

Performance needs to be solved. I cannot even use this site. It takes 100% of my processor computing power and after a minute or so freezes completely. On tablet or phone does not even load and crashes right away.

1/2/3% is confusing thus bad even if the idea is smart; the main problem is the trust; getting deposits of hundreds of BTC is not easy is you are not enough trusted

dooglus and his team were apparently trusted because they were known by the ones in the know ;)

Thats why leverage will be useful in this case, reduce counterparty risk. since he could have just hold 10% of the investor fund to keep the site running and safe

the important point of martingale is to have a high "F-up" limit, 3% edge provides a greater pool for him to gamble against.

you mean the max profit? it's merely 0.245 btc higher than the max profit of the 1% game... at an exponential increase of the betting amount (typical martingale) this won't even offer a single increase in most cases...

Normal, the browser has to generate the result for you on the chart. And the result is given to you by the server.

So it is 2 streams of data, one is the result data generated from the server, one is the profit/loss graph roll data generated on your side with a lot of computational power.

PS: the key changes after you make a 10k roll, like the server release the key to you and generate the data after you've made the roll

Wow! Where does such a large investment come from? Anyways...
I meanwhile divested my investment for 2 reasons:
1. The site is simply too slow. It crashes some browsers, and even on my fastest machine it is just usable at best (all browsers). This needs to change. I believe the site could quadruple its exposure if it was just faster. I can't stress enough how big of a problem this is, believe me!
2. I had problem logging in with my credentials (& 2FA) It just wouldn't accept them. I double checked the clock on the 2FA device and the password. Never had those problems before with any other site.

At least number one has to be solved before more people come to play! I know the creator is suppsedly working on it, but this needs to be done ASAP.

Why is there nobody playing? Site works fine for me.

I have tried the site a few times. It looks a lot like when you buy a new laptop, before you format the hard drive and install an operating system on it. I guess it's a lot like Windows 8. It looks weird, bright colours, crashes a lot, runs slow, doesn't really work.

It would be good if there was an option to turn off all the weird graphic effects that don't work and just play dice.

You can choose the "simple" option from top. For me it makes the website run faster.

I gave it a try, but the site is really slow. I have to say I am not a fan of the Metro-inspired design.

I think many more people would give your site a try if you worked to make the site more attractive, and improved the performance so that it isn't lagging in my quad core computer. Try to ease up on the animations a bit, we don't need too much. We're here to gamble, not stare at pretty animations.

If I could get like dooglus or Stunna to check it out that would be great, I don't know my stuff at all, and the amount of posts you have/how long you've been a member without scamming is irrelevant.

we use the exact same provably fair system as JD.

https://dicenow.com/#filter=.fair

http://jsfiddle.net/g6fP6/3/

it is more fair than PD since you are not hassled to change your seed after every roll

I belief stunna has a conflict of interest with this site since he is owning Primedice. In which himself is having a flawed (or potentially rigged) game by changing the server key everytime. Assuming most people dont change the client seed after the game. He might produce a server seed that is advantageous to the website.
You may consider having a look here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=668378.0

I hope i can try to simplify things.
To generate a number, we need a seed that user determine (user seed), a seed that the server determines (server seed) and a nonce (just an incremental number, so we can have multiple bets with the same key)

While SHA256 or whatever hashing function, it is simply a tool that generate random scribilly based on the input. The result given could not be "reverse engineered" to the input.

So before the game starts (you place the bet), the server gives you the hashed secret key, so you will not know the result while still prove that the server didnt change the key. Then you submit your key and direction to bet. After joining the server key, your key and the nonce. The random number is generated and winning or losing is determined. If you want to play again without changing keys, they will increase the nonce number so a completely different result will be generated by the random function.
Or else, if you want to reveal the key and verify stuff, just get a new key from the server and the old one will be revealed to you since it will not be used again. Now you can verify if the hashed server key matches the previous key that they gave you, then you can match your number generated with the stuff that they given to you.

EDIT: Just pick a bet on dicenow and dump the data in the JSFIDDLE thing
eg: https://dicenow.com/?betid=9839833#filter=.betShow

Another thing to mention, if sometimes there is a lot of losing or winning, that is called varience. overtime it should be a 49.5% winning on a 1% rake 2x bet. And ofcourse, casinos are supposed to be raked (thats why people like me invest). But you matametically knows that it didnt cheat

to investors with the inevitable 'what happened' question:
the infamous akcoindigger of pd/dn/dbc was back today and won 40 btc.
i only caught the end of it.
if you were invested at 1% (1x kelly), you lost around 5-6%. those using 10x leverage probably lost 40-50%. please be careful using leverage on the site, it is only meant for offsetting counter party risk so you can leave 90% of your investment in cold storage without giving it to me, but get the same casino bankroll exposure.

Yeah. I tried to work with the site and - in practical terms, the site EATS HALF OF CPU POWER (AND I WAS DOING EXACTLY NOTHING) - so there is no problem with bright colors, but it seems the response time of the site and stability sux.

But it could be improved!

dicenow, I don't know for others, but on my PC (quad core CPU, 8gigs of RAM) this thing runs slow - and eats a lot of CPU. And the reaction time is slow.

And I have a *FAST* internet (50 Mbit/s).

whale akcoin/blather played again today and finally won. 1% edge house profit started the day at 105 btc
first attempt was with 5btc. got house profit down to 40 btc before he went bust. house profit ended at 110 btc

https://i.imgur.com/wLJ2BSs.jpg

he reloaded another 10 btc and proceeded to wreak havoc.
house profit touched 0. he is still playing.
using 10x kelly leverage is pretty much gambling against a whale.
max bet profit was around 13 btc and ended up at 3.5 btc around the lows. later on he was unable to bet big since leveraged investors lost a lot very quickly.

sorry for those who lost a lot.

I found a serious flaw after playing at this site using the auto roll feature. Not accusing of any shady tactics, but...

My auto-roll settings is a martingale progression (x2) after each losing bet, and all bets alternate (high to low, low to high bet)

After a streak of 20 losses, it will go back to the base bet and start over.

You can fully see those two base bets suddenly in there, which win, however the site keeps going up on the next losing bet.

The auto-roll then resets back to the base bet, even though there was no 'streak' of 20 losing bets as there was suddenly those two winning bets, which were coincidentally the small base bet.

This is just a small loss, but what if the bet sizes were larger? I would avoid this site until this issue is resolved. I have kept the server hash, server seed, and client seed.

If you look closely then you see that the two bets with ids 163 and 164 are mixed into the bets with ids 1624 - 1643. So I think this is a problem with sorting the bet ids ;) I looked up your client and server seed (https://dicenow.com/?betid=11136014#filter=.betShow). The bets that you show on the screenshot do check out.

Interesting, I assumed that '163' and '164' was just missing a zero. :P

Thanks for your reply, this did create some alarm from me. I guess I over-reacted. ;)

OP has been inactive for months (his last login in May and last post in Feb). This does not indicate any problem of the site, but in a way it does make people worrying about not getting supports when needed and thus scares people off.
