Title: ebay hackers Post by: countryman_uk on July 25, 2011, 09:35:21 AM My ebay account has been hacked and someone has bought bitcoin from two different sellers, there is an account number for where to send the bitcoin, can this be traced so this person can be stopped.

As much as you may not like paypal, they still ARE the best way to pay and be paid on the internet... I have 2 accounts with paypal, in different countries, with my real info, each of them moving thousands of $ in and out at all times and never had a single problem that couldn't be solved. I don't use ebay, so i guess I'm not as exposed to scammers as people who do use ebay. I understand that they can give you a lot of headaches, but damn, the alternatives aren't better. Bitcoin might be that alternative, if people stop dumping them into the exchanges and start buying things with bitcoin, but it still has a long way to go.
