I really think we can not predict any given time when a red trend occur because all of the recent Red days was because of manipulation and we can not pinpoint if we are having a dip or a recovery, It can never really be known perhaps the thing that we can only have a clue is whether it is a negative news regarding bitcoin on the main stream.

I think that the absence of negative news and the presence of some positive news(The FSB`s initial assessment) may help to rise again.
The price is tied to the news rather than the credibility of the news.
With these strong rises more than 6% I think the price will continue to rise to the  10,000$ barrier soon.
The fact that " Bitcoin is stronger than being influenced by a lower price " so do not let the panic take you

after every massive dump, there is always a recovery where you see green prices everywhere and this is what you are seeing right now. it is not an indication of anything really. it just is this way.

and more importantly you can not expect this to continue just because you saw "green"!

yes, you are right sir! we will break through the $ 10k fortress. actually I think that the price decline that happened yesterday was because they were Bent out of shape is negative. you are right sir we have to eliminate panic, so we can keep thinking positive. I think with the increase of bitcoin, this will reduce the anxiety of the holders.

I'm not sure if we are out of the woods already.
This could also just be another short term bounce before another wave downwards will happen.
As long as we do not crossing above the 200 daily moving average and break above $10k with some significant volume I will stay cautious.

Maybe yes, as increasing price by last 2 days was so fast, if it will break $10k, i think bull market will still continue. This is good time for short term trading plan, i'm predicting this green will be steady at least for this week. It could be this is related about what happen discussing in G20, they should give attention about crypto.

Where do you think BTC's price be by the end of the month and let's make a bet on it.  You say that everything will start 'going green' again.  Do you think it will be at 9000 USD by the end of March?

Nope this is again a trick it's still better to hold and not make any investments this is surely another trap by whales they made people sell at a loss by creating a short dump now they created a pump effect and wanting people to fall for it again and after a while we will again see the price crashing making a investment now has a huge risk

How about this news guys https://www.coindesk.com/twitter-will-ban-cryptocurrency-ads-in-two-weeks-says-report/ will change trend up or no? They just make us smile for a moment, and then will make us cry again. But most likely it only affects some time after that the price will be normal again, as happened yesterday. It would be better from now on don't make a thread about bitcoin price prediction.

You are very happy because the market is green now but it doesn't mean that there will be no opposite return just because of it.

Each and everyone of us are happy because we are seeing bitcoin on green and as well as other alts but take time and don't be so excited just because of this. There's more to come and this can be the beginning of the bull market or if not, it's a trap.

9000 is completely possible. If it continues the current minor uptrend then yes, but it's more likely this crash is going to be more long lasting before recovering to 12k or more.

We cannot predict the price rise would be constant or continue considering one or two days trend. Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency price is volatile always, my personal prediction would be a spike in price would start from April 2nd week, the highest price may be reached in July. Experts also predict that highest price would be reached in July and the price would be close to $60k.

Past couple of weeks cryptocurrency was bleeding and the current price rise may look in green but not up to the mark. However the minimal spike is good and I too feel bit happy.

All of this was previously predicted, a decline that occurred only a correction because there was a sense of panic from some frightened people. Now things are getting better and people who sell coins for a cheap price will be disappointed. People's beliefs are now increasing and there is some positive information that helps the development of cryptocurrencies. One of them is a scheme that might be generated by G20. This will make tremendous changes when the world receives cryptocurrency legitimately.

It is too soon to conclude such thing from a one day rating of the price . This is just very unpredictable right now to be honest .
I would not be shocked if the market gets down or red by tomorrow or even by tonight keeping in mind the ongoing trends with respect to the downfall in the prices .
The coins are just struggling to keep a minimal price , there is not any huge progress . Its just a cover up to the previous days.

It's just an ad and beside this is for the better, good ICO don't need to spam those big social networking sites and a search engine in order to gain investors, this is for the protection and preservation of the future investors and enthusiast, people will get over it and eventually the uptrend will continue to back to its promising price.

This is the time we are waiting for, but its too early to celebrate. If something really good happen is G20 Summit, I believe the rise is about to come, the market survive and its time now to go up again.
Always remember that sometimes the history just repeats itself just like the old days, I believe it too that G20 influence the price fluctuations and the blood loss.

Technical analysis can't do anything when manipulation gets involved. It could indeed be some excited parties buying up the market hoping to initiate a positive vibe run, but we may also have reached a new bottom after going down for such a long period of time. $10,000 will be an important factor in the coming days, because that would not only mean we're further away from the bottom, but also back at five figure levels. It's a combination of factors that will contribute towards a more positive overall sentiment. Also, the market in most cases does what the people don't expect. People expect $30-$40,000, it tanks hard. The market anticipates on a move to potentially below the last bottom, and we're going up. It's manipulation moving the market, that's clear.

Im so tired of shitcoins as a whole. Bitcoin is grossly undervalued, and we still have idiots pouring money into an "ecosystem" which doesn't exist. All these projects are scams. None of them even acts as an hedge against a crashing Bitcoin, they just follow Bitcoin. I guess some perform well, like Monero, on their own, but most of the crypto market is an insane bubble, and here is the good news: once it pops it will all go to Bitcoin, since anyone wanting exposure in crypto will just hold Bitcoin.

Who knows how the overall crypto marketcap needs to go before we see altcoins dying and an hyperbitcoinization? peak dotcom bubble was 6+ trillion...

indeed it is too early to say this. but, I just predict and think positive. I always believe in the green color. This IMO is Cross your finger for the future. I do not assume the price will last long, I also know the price does fluctuate, anytime can go down and up. honestly I am here to share the positive news, why? so that panicked people do not complicate things.

You need to be very careful with your predictions, it has only been one day we cannot be sure there is no going to be more red in the market I also think that we are going to see some small recovery but nothing too great maybe we will reach 10000 again before the end of the month but if more negative news were to come then it is likely the price is going to go down again since there is not a lot of support.

Its good to see that we're back in green again, but still be extra careful with your investment the market might fall again anytime. I dont exactly know what causes the serious dip, some says because of the banning of trading and exchanges in a particular country, but I guess that's just one of many reasons. What I usually follow is the trend.

At this moment, it is nice to know that it's value is rising up again. The slowly movement of it may not be consider as the basis for it's continuous pumping. But for now it is better to hold and be calm and just wait for the right time when it will reach the normal range of it's value or maybe much higher one. Prediction and speculation are always exist, but the most important thing is don't expect too much and still hoping that it will be much better.

it is too soon to open the champagne bottles and celebrate the recovery or the bull market, but it is a start, a very small one. and this is mainly because of the G20 results which were mostly positive about bitcoin and that recovered part of the confidence in the market but i say we are not yet out of the bear market officially. price needs to go higher so that we can call it a real recovery and be happy about it.

as for altcoins, i don't really care about them specially the TOP ones because they don't do anything at this point except have some tiny recoveries, the profit is in the smaller unknown coins which are getting pumped left and right during times like this.

It's the long awaited recovery.

Prices bottomed out at around $8k or just under, which means that there is still a lot of buyers left in the market that will buy in the mid to high ranges of 4 digits. That support is nice to see and can really be the launching pad for the next run up.

I doubt that we're just going to continue to shoot up from this point onwards. In fact I think that today, bitcoin probably overperformed my expectations and I'm calling a correction tomorrow of around 1 to 2 percentage points. But the general momentum has indeed shifted up again, with volumes of more than 6 billion per day compared to previously at the trough where it has been 4 billion.

Unfortunately for us it is very difficult to predict which coins are going to be pumped next, those that are able to guess correctly can make a fortune in just a few days, I have seen coins going up to 1000% in a single day and I'm sure other people have seen even greater pumps but at that point it is just like gambling with your investment and I'm not willing to do that with my money.

The crypto market was at about $300 billion whole from the highs of $700 billion plus. Now the dump phase is over and bitcoin price is rising due to which the Altcoin price will also start to rise now following the trend. A lot of people were afraid due to decreasing bitcoin price as they were the people who purchased bitcoin at the highs of $15k+ so watching its value turned less than half was so devastating to them that they felt selling their coins was the best choice, but instead they should have waited for the dump phase to over.

Shut up, sir! too early to say prices will soon turn green. the current confusing situation is very difficult to predict. chances are we can see the green price back in when the bear market has stopped. in the near future now, the price will keep alternating between red and green. until now the price can not be stabilized in green.

It seems to me that now the market of all coins is in a period of stabilization. This year will be the most stable. Whales won't rock prices. Ordinary people can not seriously affect prices. Whales want to participate in the distribution of coins, and mtgox is in their interest to keep the price down. Perhaps there will even be chart failures when mtgox starts selling its stocks again.

Yes it  is very difficult to predict the price if this time were going to continue into green again. The market may fall into red and green marks. That's how the price swing fast into not an expected time to happen.

Yeah hold on to that. It was temporary and we all knew it. Stop arriving to immediate conclusions without having solid facts.
Thing is there's more bad news than the good news. Segwit adoption and lightning network isn't suffice enough to boost up the market prices. We only see shitcoins coming up every singe day.  :-\

The prices have never been stable, one of the things with bitcoin is that if it is not skyrocketing or crashing bitcoin does not remain on a straight line it still goes up and down very abruptly with the only difference that after a 10% dip we get a 10% correction in the market, it is still very volatile but on average it may not seem like bitcoin is moving much.

It seems that in fact.. it makes many people feel hesitant and worried about the price movement that has now seen always experiencing a significant declined, which's like difficulty to moving in a higher direction again. It seems to be directing everything for the long term, for the short term.. it seems that it will only be able to get a small profit I guess.

and what do you say when Mr. Gox again throws another bit of Bitcoin onto the market? He promised to sell 7,000 Bitcoin in the near future, although more than 100,000 plans are planned. This is the complete collapse of the crypto-currency market.

altcoins, specially the top coins will remain in red for a very long time. they have been pumped the most and have the most number of newbie bag holders who will continue panicking and dumping their coins as their losses grow bigger and bigger.

as for bitcoin we will continue seeing this sideways action for a longer time with a little tendency of dropping but it has not been that big so far. if it breaks the $10k resistance again we can be hopeful for the breakout to come sooner in this month otherwise it will take a longer time to see the rally.
For me it will have a significant rise soon but not as high ad usd10k..this might not be green but it will not stay on the red too.
and what do you say when Mr. Gox again throws another bit of Bitcoin onto the market? He promised to sell 7,000 Bitcoin in the near future, although more than 100,000 plans are planned. This is the complete collapse of the crypto-currency market.

Well i don't think it's enough to collapse the marker entirely but obviously that will be a big consderation for most holders. They won't be selling their bulk btcs until september so i'm expecting this bear trend would likely go well beyond the first quarter of this year but as always, there's a rainbow after the storm and that's what i'm looking out for

I don't think that the market will collapse if the Mt. Gox trustee will offload the remaining bitcoin in his hands but it will put a significant dent in the market. But everyone's eyes is on his so I know that it will not go unnoticed and others will be ready as well.

I read that it will take a court order before he can sell, so I think the court will make everything as fair as possible. He can order him to sell, but not that huge amount in one dump, probably in portions so that there will not be that much pressure on the market price and avoid the market to collapse if ever.

When the bitcoins are sold out obviously we do have big sharks ready to buy the bitcoins with low price.  When they are bought again certainly the price would boom again. So we have another move as well.  So I don't think  Mt. God move would largely affect the market value. We can see a decent hike today.  Hope this continues in green.

whether it's time to turn green again or not it depends on the investment climate, and also a fundamental sector that highly affected about the crypto price
if good news floods the market or contrariwise. the price also is determined by innovations and breakthrough that will take, as long as the any good breakthrough will be taken. the price of the token exists and continuously grows

People always eager for the price to increase, and it is only possible if the investors are increasing, and if people are taking interest in a currency, then its price will surely continue increasing, so i think that bitcoin price is stay in current position for a long time, therefore i think that now it is really a good time for the price to increase and should turn green, i think most of the altcoin are already trading as green.

ranks 1-100 all the green back coins, I think there will be no more red. bitcoin up 7.79% Ethereum up 5.01% Ripple up 10, 52%.
my estimation will continue to increase. but, there will be some also red back. honest personally feel a little bit happy to see this situation.
The market is indeed showkng green marks which is a sign that the market is recovering from the continuous dumps right from the start of this year. But i think it will just br a short term increase and deflation will soon continue to happen. The true increase is expected at the end of this year to happen. Holding as such is really advisable right now since volatility is really obvious.

Obviously those who have spent thousands of dollars for making a huge collection of bitcoin, there is no way they are going to let themselves go in big loss by getting rid of bitcoin at present market values. Even those who have collected at cheap rates are going to hold it as long as they can in order to earn huge returns for their better future. The market will be highly green by the end of this year just like last year.

Hope you have see the turn of the event and see that we have more red than green this time around. I have been following the current market behavior and the reality is that this downward trend is not yet over and the best thing to do at this moments is to keep on buying if you have some capital that you can invest.

Right now were seeing a red marks again, so it seems it just a short time for increase happen yesterday. Many had thoughts price of btc could continues to green again, but this time it shows the red marks. Well, that's the best we can say to do for now holding our btc.

It would be better from now on don't make a thread about bitcoin price prediction.
that news isn't new.  And it's totally fake which is made by some people who want to intimidate holders and actually it emerged after the Google and facebook banning issue. So it been a weeks now and nothings happen.  .don't trust on it  .

The market is going up once again but it is very difficult to know if these tendencies are going to continue for the long term, I like the fact that the price has grown a little bit but in my opinion this is not going to last we will probably see another decrease in the price in the next days, which is sad because I like the rest of the forum would like that bitcoin recovers as soon as possible.

It feels good to see the market in this situation as we had all hopes for a good future. Currently, the bitcoin price had a good rally rising to $8k Mark. We can't deny how much money needed to push the price at that level. Let's all hope that we can sustain this rally and push a little higher price to avoid a bull trap. Hold is good.

Did anyone really compare the current alt coin prices related to bitcoin? To sell now, could still mean, you loose money in fiat money terms. E.g I bought last summer some of my altcoins. Compared to current bitcoin value it is still a loss, even if markets looks better these days.

this is a common mistake that people only look at a very short term change while they have bought a long time ago. altcoins have been getting dumped nonstop for a very long time now and it has not yet ended. even during the bitcoin price rise in the past 2 days altcoins have been dropping against bitcoin for the most part and the USD values are sometimes misleading. in other words if they kept their investment in BTC they would have made a lot more profit!

Yes, it's really good to see the market getting into the green zone again and touch $8000 since we bottom at about $6500. But again, I'm still not getting the vibes here because of the dramatic increase in just a couple of days. I would like to see a slow recovery. Where did the money came from? So I'm going to see and observe what's its going to be in the next 48 hours to really see that we are in a rally. Let's really hope that we can sustain this run up to a least $10000 so that we have enough leeway if ever there's another crash coming. Let's see how it's going to be, of course I advise everyone to just HODL.

The market has recovered from the sub $8k valuation but it is still hovering around those valuation, you need to see some good investment coming into bitcoin for us to say that the market will recover soon, by now there is nothing spectacular in the market to suggest that, it is still a good time for investors to get some coins at this stage. I do not see a huge rally this year, but we will see that in a couple of years.

In last few day bitcoin price has just taken a step which now make people more eager for the price to increase, although the investors we expected the price of bitcoin that it will start raising after the middle of 218, so we have to wait a little more may be a month or two and then we can expect that bitcoin price will start raising again. So we should wait patiently and watch the market carefully.

this market makes many people exposed to bull traps. IMO is too early to say the market is going green again in the near future, but at least, we can start with a pretty good start, the yesterday's rise could have been a luck for the market and its traders next year. I hope this will continue until the price is fully restored and skyrocketed as it once was.

The price in the market will falls down and sometimes goes up. Green is not stable price in the market. Even red couldn't. The coming days will probably change the colour again for there is no such stable in the market. This time is still good for those who wants to invest some top 100. It could be the perfect time.

and if we decide to invest, then we need to keep analyze every coin in the market so we can know which one that will be worth to buy as our investment. it seems, every coin want to test the market first because they know that bitcoin price could increase or decrease in anytime so they need to make sure before they are making an increase of the price. I think we will see the green until the next month unless bitcoin price is down below $8k.

If you'd look at the trend for the last.few months, it looks going that way.

Well for now it looks like we could move up to ~$9000 and make another inversed should head shoulder formation (12hr or daily chart). Question then is if we will see a breakout or if it gets invalidated and we'll head down again to 7k.
My general feeling is we are not done yet with this bear market, so I tend to agree with you, that this could be another bull trap. Therefore be careful if you're a day trader!
