The rest, either I know nothing or don't like them.   You should bump up your ICX and VEN and consider buying some QTUM..

Good to see huge volume of NEO on you portfolio but the rest is just an ordinary coin. Better to sold your holdings those below 5% and invest it into big coins, if you really believe on that project better to increase your holdings but if its not sold it you cannot make good money at that kind of volume.

You dont have BTC or USDT.
USDT is one of the most important coins for EVERY portfolio. This is the only coin which is not affected by the crisis.

If you are investing then having USDT is a waste.  If you want to park...it is an option.

I personally really like your portfolio. You have a fair combination of "sure bets" (IMO) and "gamble coins."

I'd say your portfolio is a little more risky than most (lacking staples such as BTC, ETH, LTC, etc), but that being said, it probably has more maximum potential than the "safer" ones.

Just remember to not invest more than you can afford to lose. :)

Yeah I like NEO and NANO. The two potential coin you have given them the largest%. But I think you should transfer a few cent coins below to focus on NEO and NANO. They will get you faster than other coins and invest in higher returns.

Yes I think you have chosen the right, the strong penny like NEO you have invested in them more. But I think you should add capital to NEO. I believe NEO will be a potential and growing penny like ETH. That's my guess, wish you a good choice.

I have neo and OmiseGo like you. I am keeping bot of them are long term investment. Also i can advise you EOS. Please do your research about it.
Also Icon and deep onion are good coins. Your keepings are okey in my opinion!

I definitely like at how much variety there is with your portfolio but I think you went a little overboard. Why don't you just refocus your portfolio to only NEO, IOTA, ARK and DeepOnion. You have 2 good platform coins, 1 Lisk Fork, and 1 privacy coin. You got a good variety going for you ,but yes I would refocus on 4.

It looks pretty good, however I would look at some anonymous coins to diversify in.

For example, Monero, ZCash, etc. I would definitely look to diversify at least 25% of my entire portfolio to these sort of anonymity centered coins because they definitely hold potential and a lot of promise for the future.

Otherwise, I think that you're good to go. Make sure that you are able and prepared to hold these altcoins in your portfolio for at least a few years for maximum profits.

it looks like BTC is being corrected, and last I saw it. BTC prices fell slightly percent.

First of all I bought 10 ethereum in december 2016 at 5 dollars and sold them at 450.00 USD each one few mounths later and bought other coins. Now I'm thinking going long with my portfolio until 2021.

I would stay away from the perma-shilled on here deeponion (but then again at 1.24% s obe it) and I dont know enough about groestl/mywish. That being said the rest of it are solid projects and more or less part of my portfolio as well. Well done.
 p.s. you may want to keep an allocation in BTC to take advantage of market corrections(where alts are hit harder than btc etc) to re-balance your portfolio and take advantage of the extra stability BTC offers in comparison to buy some bargains.

i can not say that this is a bad portfolio. there are good altcoins withh good potential. probably you will make goo profit in the first bullish wave. but you have so many altcoins. are you sure that you will be able to follow each of them?

I think your portfolio is quite successful. All the coins here are promising, and the coins that are spoken too much through this forum. Especially neo is the most important and will rise coin :)

Nice choices, I think you should decrease iota portion a bit and get some ICON too. Its very hyped coin. By the way Kucoin shares and binance token may be nice to hold in bull markets for short term gainz.

I think you should only invest from 3-5 altcoins. That's a good number so you can control them the best. The more your portfolio, the harder it is to control all of them. You should invest in NEO 30%, ICON 30%, Vechain 15% and Bitcoin as the rest. At present the market is going down, you can be patiently waiting for the bottom price of these altcoins. Buying Bitcoin and Altcoins will help you double your profits when the market goes up. That's the strategy I usually do.

I would recommend ADA and Aion attachments. And the BTC, which is the king of the market, has a quantity.

Lol you have no idea how to manage a portfolio. You don't invest to USDT. You just keep it for crisis times to buy cheaper coins or to decrease the cost of your coins  (%15-20 of your portfolio depends on you and the time). When the market is healthy you can sell your low cost coins at a good profit. And keep USDT for another crisis.

If you have it, when do you use USDT?  If you have the slightest clue...you use it (ideally) when the market is at the bottom.  Guess where we are right now?  As I said, you get it to "park" but I prefer parking my investment in BTC or real US dollar...not USDT.

You dont "park" your investment to USDT. You need it for a bigger profit.
how do you think that 9k (BTC) is the bottom? 5 days ago it was 7.3k. And 1 month ago it was 6k.
I think you are new in cryptomarket and you are thinking that these prices are low. You are right these prices are low but in crypro market there is always lower. Thats why you always need a reserve amount. You will learn it.
Yesterday the price of BTC was 9k today 8.5k and I think the fall will continue. İf you have %20 reserve, you can buy some alt with maybe 5% of your reserve at the moment. And buy more when the market is cheaper. You can also use this reserve during a healthy (or bullish) market for a relatively cheap coin too.
Buy the way in many exchanges (Binance, Polo, Bittrex etc...) you can not use US dollar to buy coins. You need USDT.
Thats why you always need USDT.
But of course, your money your decision.

I think you have good coins. My advise to you list that and calculate how many coins can u bought for 100 dollars for each one.
And check your list at the end of the year. My favourite coin on your list is OMG!

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

The most of the privacy coins are undervalued right now.

The best opportunity is to find a privacy-related project with a low total supply (less than 100M), that way the price will be increasing much faster.

I recently found one project called Ethereum Meta, it is related to anonymity and untraceable transaction. They have a very interesting project to build the Anonymous E-Market Place.

You have a good portfolio for that you can add bitcoin and ethereum as these were also profitable. I like Prl which you choose to invest this is also good project. You diversify your investment which is a good decision you have.

These are great portfolio to make you good profit in longer term. Add some ada and bitcoin for better profit, you have good skills on how to manage your investment because you divided them all. Are you holding them short term or long term?

In my opinion, it is better to make your own research and trust your guts.

I like it. I'm also a fan of Neo. But I would add ethereum and bitcoin to your list.
After all without the king and queen your portfolio does not look complete.

Your portfolio is very good, majority of your portfolio destine NEO and NANO, i think this is an smart decision, for NEO we dont need to say more, NEO is a coin which should invest in at the moment because many specialist identified that the rice of NEO will reach $1,000 in 2 - 3 next years.
My opinion you should instead of IOTA by Cardano. I think Cardano is better and more stable than IOTA and the price of Cardano is very cheap now.

If you read and understood what I posted...you basically said the same thing.  The point is no one knows where the bottom is.  AS I POSTED...if you want then keep your fiat and buy when you think it is at the bottom.  It is FOOLISH to get USDT especially for someone coming in (think trading fee and conversion loss wink-wink)

Hindsight is always 20/20...had I known, I would have sold my coins and bought ICX 6 days ago at 1.59 and sold them yesterday at $4.22...that is about 165% gain.  You see, no one knows what will happen so citing those is "cheating". ;)

But if that is your style, do as you please and waste your money and the opportunities.

For me it depends on your portfolio fund,

If you have 10,000 USD above i think it is ok, but if you have less than that i think you should trim your portfolio ranging from 3-5.
You can increase youre from the solid coins you are having right now.

You can increase your share to NEO, IOTA and Nano as these are solid coins.

That's great to see  that your portfolio is the biggest percent is Neo, but why you did not put any percent  of Ethereum and bitcoin?
Well for me  it's better to invest now in bitcoin and ethereum right now is the best time to buy in a lower price, I'm sure it will increase as soon as possible.

I would start by saying that my advice is not to listen to anybody's advice about your portfolio :) Do what you think is the best, studying the projects and their future applications.

It seems to me a well-balanced portfolio, I like that you own the coin based on DAG (like Iota, OysterPearl, Nano) because they are, in my opinion, one of the future technology, the one that will finally find application in everyday life.

About Vechain, I like that they already have the exclusivity for experimentation in an entire region of China. It can go up a lot.

But I do not like the last 7 coins you have in the portfolio, I would sell all of them and just holding ETH, which can still give a lot in terms of performance.

No. From what I see, most of them are ICOs or highly centralized cryptocurrencies. Not meant to discourage you, but to me it makes no sense to hold all these cryptos, and no Bitcoin.

Anyway, that's just my opinion, so don't take it as trading advice.

.  Most of them are third generation coins. Bitcoin is not decentralized as u think. Lightning Network looks like a network of several centralized hubs . Big expectations and poor results are going to crash the whole btc ecosystem.

Few coins of your portfolio seem to be very interesting but there are few which i don't see them in the market but their % of holding is very low. But with the higher %, like NEO, IOTA, NANO, ICON you will make some fortunes with your investment.

Not sure where you got that information, but Lightning Network actually increases decentralization in the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Even if you think it is centralized, you are not forced to use it, because it's a second layer solution.

It all comes down to what you want to achieve. I have a similar portfolio to OPs in terms because I want higher returns while accepting ofcourse those come with higher risks/bigger volatility.

I have NEO, NANO, ICON, REQ, NAV out of those. Of the others - some good but I don't hold, and some I don't know a lot about.
I think it looks good, but I would add some BTC, ETH and maybe XRP.

You spread your money too much. Except you have put huge amount of money in that portfolio, you won't get significant profit even when your coin is doubled.

I like your first five mate, but I also notice that there are some established coins that even if are experiencing some bad happenings as of late, would still give you better chances for a profit in time. But then again, if you feel more comfortable with what's your holding then there's no better assurance because you believe in the assets you are holding. What I also like is the diversity of your holdings, I envy you because I only hold fewer coins, with some of them, not really good and safe ones to hold. I'm just wishfully thinking.

You do not invest in USDT, you use USDT after you have sold your coins at the top of the market then you hold until the market reaches the bottom and then you buy coins again, you do not really invest in it you just use it as a way to earn more profits but the coin in itself doesn't give you profits since it's a coin that doesn't move, this is just for convenience you could do the same with fiat but then you will need to pay bank transfers.

I think that there is not much point in worrying about in your portfolio, because the percentage of 80 coins that users keep in their portfolios are those that have high ratings on almost all trading exchanges.

You must add ethereum and EOS coin in your portfolio for sure dude,surely these will one of the top most coins in the 2018 and i am surprised you did not include them,specially ethereum,other than that you portfolio looks good.

Not a bad portfolio, but I think there is a need to add Stratis and Apex. This is a very promising 2 altcoins.

NEO prices are increasing your purpose for what? invest or trade because it is a collection of coins that are less desirable by the public but the price can be inflated is very suitable for long-term investing.

There are too many altcoins to appear in your catalog and I think you should not invest too much. I think you should only invest 3-6 altcoins. That will help you control things more easily and profits will increase more.
You should drop some unnecessary altcoins and invest only in NEO, IOTA, NANO and ICON. That would be a smart decision as you pour all your capital into these four altcoins.

I would rather leave these cryptocurrencies NEO, IOTA, ICON, OmiseGo, and all the other altcoins would sell and buy Ethereum with the money.

guys, I can not understand your discontent about the USDT? I intend to view this coin as the equivalent of a dollar in order to keep my money in the crypto currency, but that the rate is always stable. So I want to use USDT, because this is the right choice?

Generally speaking, as far as I know, USDT has some problems with auditing and this has already been repeatedly written on bitcointalk and in a telegram. Therefore, be careful of your assets to this coin.

In my opinion, neo, iota, vechain and icon are very good selections. In addition to these, I think you can consider to add bitcoin and ethereum to your portfolio, so you can maybe get better profits in the future. Good luck!

Ethereum and eos is a nice choice adding to the portfolio above. Having these coins will bring to your portfolio so good to have these in your lists.

I think this is a good portfolio. But I think you can make better your portfolio by having some ethereum, eos, monero, cardano, bitcoin and litecoin.
