Title: are you planning to change the moderator of the Frensch section?
Post by: Anarchist on March 21, 2018, 10:35:49 PM
As the previous topic got locked....

Seriously, are you planning to change the moderator of the Frensch section? It becomes horrible, there are more bots posting shit than a discussion with real users...

Give us a reply, (we can accept fuck you as a reply don't worry) We can't use the section anymore and 75% of users moved to the Telegram channel and leave here.

Members keep to report the posts/spams, members keep opening several topics in the french section to complaint about the ghost moderator. 99% of members want to see some changes.

So?

I guess there is a problem with other languages than English. Global administrators, probably they don't understand all of the other languages, and they can't be sure what is written in posts.
We have the same problem with Serbian topic, where it became very hard to discuss. Now we waiting to get our local board, but I guess it's a problem for administrators "how to moderate" other language part of this forum.
Everything is difficult for non-english languages.

Unless there's a obvious demand for it ie a lot of posts being reported but, not being dealt with then theymos isn't likely to change anything as he stated in the previous thread at the moment there just isn't enough demand for it. Same goes for any other local boards. If you want a new moderator then get reporting and show theymos that there needs to be someone actively dealing with the reports.

Hey, I locked it because of no help other than "Report..." and nothing to add to the discussion from both sides.  But It's ok, it's not our house so if we aren't happy, then we leave.

@Welsh
We aren't 100k users so you won't see 100k people asking for it, but 99% of users were asking for this (during months), in fact, I have never seen a member saying NO. Then you know, people ask once, twice but then stop to ask...
Members do report but I understand them to they just stop to report if it doesn't do anything.

But currently, sadly most people left the French section, so it's like too late now. So no need another moderator, but better to close (or lock) the section to be honest.

I visited the forum today and the first topic I opened was to find a bot reply using translated text. :D
