   Starting as an non-commercial project, we found that it would be great to create a new coin with high level of secure.

Ferro will be added to exchenge about 1 or 2 weeks.. We hope so. It depends on the exchanges moderators.

WHY POOL PAYMENTS DO NOT GO ?

Its not our pool. So we dont know why. Maybe you have to wait 60 block (1 hour) and pool payment time.

So you mined for 117 days to reach a 10% premine? Why not just create a transaction in the genesis block for the total amount? The fact that you weren't aware of a much more efficient way to do a premine makes me not have much confidence in your dev skills.

By the way, 10% is an extremely high premine anyway, what are you going to need all those coins for? "For future development" is not a compelling answer.

See my answer above, apparently the dev decided to mine by himself for 4 months to reach his desired 10% premine. A complete waste of time on his part and annoying for the rest of us who have to pointlessly sync so many blocks to see recent transactions.

When will be wallet for Windows ? Normal exe files ?

And it would take years to have progress on this project, as he's not that capable to execute "shortcuts". Maybe this is one-man team and he has no one to consult to regarding this project.

What do you mean, normal exe files? CLI wallet (.exe) is available by link. Maybe, you mean GUI-wallet..? We are working on it.


Of cource, we have.. Add Ferro to exchanges. Promote it in twitter, facebook, telegram. Create a Web-wallet, GUI-wallet, make technical part better, etc.

We have contact with a ferro-pool.org admin. There are some problems with it. We try to resolve it jointly.

We have resolved this issue. Fixed diff is availible now. Use WALLET_ADDRESS.DIFF. Minimum pool difficulty is 10000.

When you say "make technical part better" what exactly are you referring to?

Currently this coin is a copy of Monero with a 60 second block time. What kind of improvements are you aiming at introducing into Ferro to differentiate it?

Additionally, you should really consider a discord channel to have a place to build a community.

I mean making transaction faster, lighter. And making wallets interface more usable.

Currently this coin is a copy of Monero.. Yet. We are not professional programmers, but each of us has a higher IT-education and a lot of experience, so we will do everything we can to make Ferro better.

Excellent video for the project. It is a pity that few can get there. Either the cap will be too small for the project. Maybe at least airdrop will be some.

Now we are waiting for answer from three exchanges. They all promised to answer in 5-7 days.


We dont plan to use new algo for now. It's possible later.

Is the project alive?

Of course it is. We released GUI-wallet yesterday. Its available for download on our web-site. We'll add a github repo and linux version soon.

And what about the official pool? Why is nothing displayed?

GUI wallet is fucked up, it didn't receive coins from mining pool when the daemon is off. I tried to close and re-start daemon and wallet then wallet is no longer receiving coins, even though the history showed transaction "Unconfirm" then disappeared, no coins was added to balance. I lost a bunch of coins have been mined. I am in doubt how far this project can go?

Is Ferro coin still alive? XFR has been delisted from Graviex.com since 22nd June. So any plan for listing XFR on any new exchange?
