This comes a bit late but still very much relevant, especially to somehow appease a lot of Bitcoin fans and followers who are now on the edge of panic selling because of what Bitcoin has been going through these past weeks and even months.

I hope this little information will somehow address a big doubt on a significant number of Bitcoin fans and followers on the matter of overheard information that some governments are pushing for strict regulations or even ban on Bitcoin. Please know that the majority of the most powerful and advanced countries in the world is still widely open to Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

This list is pleasant to the eyes. Of all the member states of the G20, only one has made Bitcoin illegal. The biggest number is still in support of Bitcoin. The countries that are either neutral or have made some restrictions to Bitcoin may still change tune and follow the majority that made Bitcoin legal.

Actually bitcoin is like gems. So if you are with bitcoin you can feel like that. Though if you do late no worry. This giant like power we have.

Bitcoin will be accepted in more and more countries. Those countries that not have accepted bitcoin yet, will follow soon. They cannot afford to stay behind. However, governments will accept cryptocurrencies, but not without regulations and taxing. And that's a very high price to pay. Chances are, that with my and tax, bitcoin is no longer decentralized.

I think it's safe to say at this point that Bitcoin is not falling because of regulation, it may have contributed slightly but is not a telling factor. People shit the bed when the price dipped after 20k and there's still a lot of fear going around, more important than people now panic selling is the fact that there are very few people buying bitcoin and all those that are are placing their orders and waiting for them to be filled, until they make a stand the price will slide further. 6k is coming, it's near inevitable now, the question is if the price will bounce again or not.

This is so overwhelming !! Of all, Bitcoin is illegal in only one country.. Soon, it will be legal there as well.

Excellent! I am going to share few tweets with this picture and try to publicize it as much as humanely possible for me. A much needed refreshing news for the community. But it needs to be publicized. So I request everyone to share this news with the picture in twitter and facebook and try to make it viral. If this goes unnoticed, then we won't see any impact. I strongly believe that 2018 is going to be the year of new adoption. A lot of other countries outside G20 is going to adopt cryptos this year. Whoever is staking up now, can fetch immense profit by the end of 2018 for sure.

I don't think it really matters who is with us and who isn't, everyone is in Crypto for different reasons and the G20 members too have different reasons as to why they legalize the crypto or not, just believe in the instinct that made you invest in the first place, that's all that is important

Because the truth is that the laws are not simply a case of black and white, of yes and no. There are always nuances and of minute details that would make everything a lot more complicated than it seems, that would cause a few legal stipulations contestable on the basis of what is also legal. We all know that something that is deemed legal may not actually be allowed at all times everywhere. Even a simple and seemingly perfectly legal and kind act of helping others in need may be considered punishable under certain circumstances. This is also very true to the legality of Bitcoin. In so many countries, the legality of Bitcoin is not an absolute and free pass. There are so many specific legal provisions that they have to abide with. For example, there are provisions in terms of taxation, in terms of security measures, and so on.

This is what I was thinking. sure some countries might restict or illegalize the cryptocurrency industry on their own countries but I'm pretty sure that a lot of countries are still on the supportive side to bitcoin. In addition to the list, tge Philippine Government I think is interested with the bitcoin technology and their central bank plans on supporting bitcoin.

Agree some of this are spreading FUD news. If bitcoin restricted and banned in those countries how come they supported some ICO's and they are serious about blockchain technology.

It is matter of acceptance for govt. The mass has accepted bitcoin and no worry about that. Only govt tried to seek the regualation to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. I think that this is a good information showing many big countries during the G20 summit meeting are supporting bitcoin. Good information enumerating big countries which support and legalize the cryptocurrency. But don't forget other countries which has also good bitcoin community specially here in Asia. Even some of them are small, at least they have good support in it. I notice also that the bitcoin price gradually falling, hope many will think to buy and maintain the high price.

There might be some countries that prohibited, restricted, or even banned and illegalized the use of cryotocurrency in their territory, but there are still countries that are supporting the technology, and they are larger in number and in power in comparison to these countries who supposedly banned the use of bitcoin and bitcoin-affiliated activities in their country.

It is interesting to note, that crypto currencies are considered legal in these countries, but that there are still many uncertainties regarding regulatory issues and taxation of events. It might be a set up for more regulatory measures in the future, but let's see, how it works out. 

This really shows that bitcoin has been legal and accepted in other countries. Yes even others country bitcoin's block we still have other countries that truly supports bitcoin. We do not be worried in this situation of down trend, however, there are other users who truly confident that bitcoin will remain and will increase it's value.

And still people keep crying that bitcoin is on the verge of loosing it's existence from the face of the earth. Lolz. From the above list, we see only China mentioned it as illegal but rest of the countries are showing some interest towards cryptocurrency, we need not worry about the present situation because crypto currency market is in huge correction.

With the result of G20 summit, majority of he countries were in favor and in support of bitcoin. I hope that aside from the G20 member countries, many countries from Asia were still in favor of bitcoin. But in spite of this development, the Bitcoin is in dip as its look like this progress has no impact to make the market to rise up. This result was already published in which the Bitcoin price is at $9,000 but now we are below $7,000 and its dips more. Maybe the progress of G20 will take effect in the market after a few more weeks or months in which we need to hold more of our coins. Anyway, this development is better than FUD that making more people to go panic.

The list is encouraging but in China just like what others said, ICO's are regulated and it doesn't mean that bitcoin is illegal there. And there's now another news about a country that has legalized the usage of crypto as business. This has been in used before but it's now updated, it's Belarus. They are now really supporting bitcoin so I agree with what OP wants to point out, we shouldn't worry.

If China is the only illegal country then no G20 country is illegal. All the fud news from the countries are normal but the volume of trade triggers the price but restriction like we had this year pose a scare. 15 out of 20 countries is bullish news that I recommend to shared.

My only purpose in sharing this is to at least counter all the FUDs and the negative news about Bitcoin these days. During these red days, we cannot just allow the market to be surrounded with negative news. It is does not help the market recover at all. On the contrary, it would only make the situation a lot worse. I know there are a lot of Bitcoin fans out there who are still in a real dilemma whether to sell or continue to hold even if the market is performing really bad.

I future I think this number will increase. Bitcoin offer a lot more than flat money. According to some well known economist, one day crypto currency will be more acceptable than flat money.

I also don't know exactly how many countries in the world that really accept Bitcoin. My hope is that since the majority of the greatest and most advanced countries in the world are already accepting Bitcoin, others would follow their lead.

The future is very bright for Bitcoin. Cryptocurrency will be our currency in the future. Fiat will one day become so obsolete that not a single country will be using it anymore.

You really deserve some merits my friend for removing our doubts. having only 1 illegal country actually is not that bad. Even if china were the leading country when it comes to Bitcoin before, it really won't make a great impact anymore because as of today, the volume of Bitcoin had spread around the globe now. Also, new big investors and small investors are joining the train which would benefit the price a lot. If more countries are to legalize Bitcoin, then I think it would be a tough fight for banks.

China and Russia are giant countries also and I think there are also a great loss when these two giant countries  withdrawn their legality with bitcoin. Anyway, Japan is already entered cryptocurrency. i don't know where you are getting your information but so far i have never seen any valid news saying China has actually done anything remotely like that.

just remember that closing that exchanges that were laundering money is not the same as making bitcoin illegal!

The news is not quite good because people are now losing faith in bitcoin because the valuation of BTC is deflating day by day and moreover governments of several nations also denied they take no responsibility regarding BTC, so this problem is now become world wide and therefore the awareness for cyptos also needs to be created at international level.

I'm not surprised if china declares that bitcoin is illegal. the country is like a daze, china keeps changing its policy every year to bitcoin. and I want to give a little view to one of the neutral countries where I live, that is Indonesia. Indonesia was recently hit by FUD about the central bank ban on the use of bitcoin. but in the end is, the sale and purchase of bitcoin still occurs, and the largest crypto exchanger is not closed. even the community here continues to grow with the establishment of association blockchain Indonesia.

It is really gladly that big countries acknowledge the importance of bitcoin. Knowing IS, UK and Japan permit cryptocurrency business is just awesome. I just question why big coutries which already have good economy status tend to know deals like bitcoin to improve their economy better. And vice cersa whipe poor countries ban it because they don’t understand the benefits of it.

That's merely showing us a great representation and I know those giant who been the huge investors of bitcoin really protects their funds. This news is very significant to the Crypto community. I believe that the bitcoin opposers are weak and can hardly bring it down. Over the years, Bitcoin has suffered so much opposition with people doubting it but it continues to get better and better. Good news for all of us bitcoin enthusiasts. I don't really care if they are regulating lots of exchanges as long as our country won't ban crypto. I'm very positive that most of those in neutral stand  will really legalize bitcoin for there are already lots of countries doing it and its is for the greater good and development of your technology in the future and blockchain has still lot to offer to mankind when it comes to advancement in technology.

The more they regulate, the more it will affect us. So don't make it sound like its not an issue at all. To be honest, even if the government is not willing to support cryptocurrencies, we can always use it without any issues as far as we are dealing with legal activities like buying and purchasing goods and services which are not recognized in legal by the law. However, if the government is banning crypto to fiat and vice-versa transactions, it will affect the companies work associated with the business of cryptocurrencies trading.

Actually, I posted this because before the G20 2018 Summit took place, news spread that one of the supposed agenda in the financial portion of the summit was said to be about crypto, and whether or not the major countries should start taking a more decisive and clearer stand on it especially since its overall value has already reached hundreds of billions in USD.
