Title: Bitcoins to save on Argentina Post by: raskolnikovx on October 30, 2013, 04:41:28 PM Hi to all, new to btc world and reading as much as I can.
As you would suspect from this topic title I am from Argentina. I wont say things are going bad for us: I tend to like the changes we and the rest of latinamerica are experiencing. But! Because the free usd buy/sell market had led to speculation and ruin in the pass we cannot buy USD for saving and the idea of trying to save on Pesos with a 20/25% inflation/year is not an option. So I am going for the Bitcoins! Got some a month ago and the value has almost double. I dont wanna speculate on how much will the price grow/fall. I just need to be able to save some money without loosing 1/4 of it per year. Someone else from Argentina (or other country with this kind of restrictions) starting with Bitcoins? Yes, Argentina has been in the news in recent weeks regarding this. It seems BTC is VERY popular there with people wanting to save. |
