Title: question about mining server set-up and possibly load? Post by: newbieee on July 26, 2011, 09:27:33 PM Hi there:
I'm thinking setting up a mining server on my gaming+forum server. there are usually 300-500 users in game and around 100 on forums. the estimate mining population is about 300-400. what kind of load should i expect... will it be like on the client side that use up 90%+ resources with normal setting? thank you all Title: Re: question about mining server set-up and possibly load? You'd be better off having other mine for in-game coins/items. Title: Re: question about mining server set-up and possibly load? Post by: newbieee on July 26, 2011, 09:50:11 PM thank you
is there any place to find out about this info? like system requirement or such thing? Title: Re: question about mining server set-up and possibly load? Post by: NothinG on July 26, 2011, 09:57:21 PM https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

;) Title: Re: question about mining server set-up and possibly load? Post by: NothinG on July 27, 2011, 12:59:31 AM Oh, your wanting to host a pool, not a miner?
Pushpool ( http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=10321.0 ) is what you will want then, with an interface like Simplecoin ( http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=13164.0 ). |
